"Well, for one thing, I don't think princess killers giggle like that," Remy said, poking the knight in the chest. "And secondly, I've been around for a long, long time. I pride myself on believing I can tell when someone's a good person at heart or not. I can see your kindness through your eyes, you know." As he spoke, he began to lead the way out of the room and through the castle's corridor.
"Other than that, I'm trusting you completely on impulse and gut feeling!" Remy added with a toothy grin. "But I don't worry much for Aurora's safety just yet. After all, I am her personal genie. Protecting her is part of the job, and I have the utmost confidence in my abilities." A finger pressed against his closed lips as he took on an expression of thought. "Not to mention I'm sure neither the king nor his pretty wife would be very happy if I were to let her get hurt. And if I were the connecting cause! Let's just say, I'm trusting you not to get me into too much trouble."

"I see your point." Jack replied. "But I can be mean, given the right circumstances. You'd just have to get me angry. It doesn't happen very often, but I can remember going off on somebody at least once in my life." he said. He followed Remy as he spoke, taking a good look at his backside. Not to shabby. He quickly got his mind off such things because of the situation it had just led him to earlier. He didn't want to revisit such a predicament.
"I was wondering, by the way." He said, still remembering that Remy was imprisoned, as all genies are. "Since you're a genie, and live in a lamp. Can't you just ask someone to wish you free?" he asked. He didn't know weather he was asking out of sheer curiosity or from the desire to free Remy himself. "Or is there some sort of rule against that?"
[[There we go. This one's a bit better.]]

Oh, but if only Remy had caught those wondering eyes, he would have teased Jack to no end for sure. But alas, his eyes remained forward until the questioning of his lamp. It even had him stopping for a moment, his brow knitting in thought. "I guess I never really thought much about it," he said in nearly a mumble, as if it was a new idea entirely. For several seconds, he stood completely still, looking nowhere inparticular before giving a sudden shake of the head.
"A ridiculous idea," Remy finally stated through a chuckle, once more starting off toward the prince's quarters. "I mean, you must understand, it's mostly humans I'm always dealing with. Really very greedy creatures when you get right down to it. They'd never waste their wishes on something useless like freeing me. Not when there's riches, harlots, and power to be had."

"I...I'd do it. I don't want harlots, and care little for riches." Jack replied, his voice slightly lower and smoother. "I can't see how people can live with themselves when they'd wish for such greedy or vain things, while keeping you enslaved." he said, his voice gradually building with a hint of outrage. "Believe you me, if I got a hold of your lamp, you'd be free. No! When I get your lamp, I will free you! Knight's honor!" he promised.

Hearing the knight's vow, Remy's steps faltered as he felt something suddenly churn inside him. Not a sickly feeling or anything of the sort. But something he hadn't felt for a long, long time. He was.. touched. With such a foreign feeling rising from the grave, in truth, the djinn know how quite to react. It seemed this time, it was Jack's turn to have the upper hand. But as if realizing this, Remy did the thing he was good at..
Closing his slightly gaping mouth, he laughed as if it was simply a joke. "Oh, Jack, you really are a card," he said, waving him off. "Besides, I belong to Aurora now. But thanks for the thought. I just knew you were a nice guy." Despite Jack's words, he remained believing that if he was in possession of the lamp, the possibilities would just go to his head. Just like everyone else. Why would this one be any different?

Jack was a bit confused by the laughing reaction, but it made him no difference, he was going to free Remy. "Then...then I shall steal you from her..." he said. He wasn't too happy about the whole idea of stealing, but it was to save Remy from slavery.
"On second thought, I'm not so sure I'll like the princess when I meet her. After all, she has the lamp, yet you're still enslaved." he said. "She sounds like a b***h to me."

The queen had turned, an estatic light shining through her brilliant blue eyes, as she was addressed. She was still quite perked after what she had found in Aurora's room -- she had always know that Aurora would some day find true love and then settle down. And yet as she turned, the smile dropped slowly from her lips to form a much less awake, much more dreamy type smile. Such a... handsome prince -- so charming and... and charming, absolutely charming.
"Oh, but my darling is already--" the queen began, but the spell silenced her. She had tried to say "my darling is already getting married today," but one look from the other's eyes had her silenced. Bright saphire eyes blinked slowly, a dreamy smile plastered on the lips that fell below them, and, slowly, she nodded. "Yes... yes, of course. You are quite charming, my dear... Ernest. That is your name, is it not?"
**
"Ooooowww......." Aurora muttered again, wincing slightly as he raised his only free hand to rub against his hurt forehead. But he couldn't help the blush -- it had spred all across his face because he knew all too well just what position they were in and he couldn't do much of anything to free himself.
Dark eyes glanced up towards the other for a moment before they hastilly averted themselves -- it seemed that he was still much too embarrassed to blow up. His face was now completely red -- ears, neck, cheeks, nose, everything. "Just... just... just help me get us... untangled!" he said finally, though he was obviously having some trouble in both keeping the words together and keeping himself from exploding -- except that he wasn't exactly angry. He didn't really quite know just what he did feel at the moment, which frightened him a bit -- but only a small bit. Most of his attention was focused on himself and on... on Nic and how they were.... situated.
Oh gods he would just die if someone found them like that.

"Oh, now there's no need to be so rash. I'm obviously not being treated poorly," Remy said, not sounding overly phased by his mention of enslavement. He wasn't about to mention the prince's threats of sending him back into his lamp, though. He didn't want to stir that kind of trouble. "I'm sure you'll just love Aurora. Everyone does." And it did indeed seem as if everyone around the prince was drawn to him. At least those few he had seen thus far. Even himself, while not quite fawning over him, still thought the blonde to be adorable and so much fun to tease!
"Honestly, don't worry about me. Perk up, eh?" the genie said, laying a hand on Jack's shoulder just as he stopped at a rather large door. "Here we are." And without even the thought of a knock, Remy opened the door to the sight of a prince and knight tangled in sheets in a most suggestive position.
Eyes widened in shock before a huge grin broke out onto his lips. "And here I thought I was ordered to be the one teaching her these things!" he said, trying to sound offended, but failing miserably as laughter broke through his tone. "I swear, and you kept calling me a pervert."
With the request or demand or whatever it was, Nic rubbed his hand heavily over his face. Maybe he was trying to wipe away obvious signs of his embarassment, but by looking at his remained appearance, he had clearly failed. Taking a breath, he attempted to, this time, slowly move his limbs around and about in a maneuver to free them both. "Just- just.. shift your leg a bit that way.. No, the other way.. Now raise it up and I'll go this way," he rambled, going through several complicated processes and movements that didn't seem to be helping much.
The second the sound of the opening door reached his ears, Nic expected to once more be greeted with the queen's squeal, but this.. Could it be considered worse? Just maybe.
Seeing Remy, the knight wanted to crawl under the bed and remain there for the rest of the day, maybe the entire week. Hadn't they had enough visitors this early morning? Instead, the only thing he could do was let his raised head thump back down to the floor defeatedly.

Aurora did his best to comply with the other's directions, but it was made rather difficult but the supreme hinderance that had taken shape as the sheet that tangled the two together. He looked rather more than a little irked as he tried his best to sort it all out -- it was insuffient, however, and before he knew it there once more came the sound of an opening door. His head jerked up, dark eyes wide as Remy entered the room. In an instant pale cheeks had flamed into a brilliant red, the darkness of his eyes receeding to a slightly paler amethyst.
"Y-y-y-y-you!" he exclaimed, finally seeming to find his ability to speek after several moments of surprised silence. "What the hell?! Haven't you heard of knocking?!?" he demanded, now seeming quite angry. "And we're not -- we're not like that!! Nice fell on the floor and pulled me down so don't think that we're... that we're like you!" he insisted angrilly.
Somehow, perhaps due to his anger, he had managed to finally dislodge himself from the knight and he soon had himself standing and upright, if a little off-balance from his fall. "A-and anyway, why are you still here?! You're supposed to be looking for... for... Al-whatsit or whoever that guy is!" the prince said. He seemed finally to have managed to muster up a firm expression -- one angry, though not quite as exploding as that of the previous day; he seemed a bit too embarrassed to pull that off at the moment.

Hearing the queen's agreement, a cool, collected smile plastered itself onto Algernon's lips. He looked extremely satisfied with the way things were going thus far. While slightly put off center with the whole 'Ernest' thing, he didn't allow it to break his mood. Instead, with that same smile, he rose to his feet, took one of Celestine's hands in both his own, and nodded. "Balthier, My Lady," he corrected. "You'll get it with time."
"Now, about the wedding," Algernon said, removing one hand to place it lightly about the queen's shoulders. "I'm sure everything can be planned immediately, yes? I expect to be wed by this very evening, you know. It would greatly please me. And I'm sure you're just terribly ecstatic to have me for a son-in-law."
((Quite alright, Mint.))

"Always the ones you least expect," Remy muttered to himself, shaking his head as he only half-listened to Aurora's ranting defense. "And there I had actually believed your feeling of weakness last night was real. Now I see through your ploy.. You and Niccy just wanted to get a little alone time. You could have just asked, you know." While really, if ever such a request was made, Aurora would never be allowed to live it down. Nor was there much hope for this situation either.
"And the reason I hadn't started your frantic search for your wizard chum is because unlike you, I was truly tired," Remy explained, all smiles. "Trying to find him would have taken me all too close to my already peaking limits. And believe me, it's not a fun experience. Doing so would have put off the search all the longer. You should be thanking me that I stopped when I did."

For a moment, Jack was afraid to enter the room, hearing all the commotion inside from when Remy walked in. He did not want an encore performance. None the less, he had come to see the princess, and that was what he was going to do. He cautiously stepped into the room and looked at the princess. "Um, greetings, m'lady, I am sir Jack, the Agile, but nonw of that really matters since you've already been deflowered." he said.
Suddenly, it hit him that something was...off...about the princess. He then walked closer and began to revolve around her. "There's something strange about you...I can't quite put my finger on it..." he said. He then stopped walking around her once he was in front. He stared into her eyes, then her lips. His eyes skimmed past her neck, to her chest, which was quite flat, but it happens. He then began to look back up to her face, but his gaze was caught on her neck. "You have an Adams-apple! You're a guy! Oh my god!" he yelled in shock.

((@WCD: You know how some Asian guys have very small adams apples that really don't show? That's how Rora is. 8D;;; Anyway, it's Rora'splodin time. xD;;; ))
Aurora was already quietly seathing as Remy continued his speech, the prince's dark eyes narrowing as a firm scowl formed below his thoroughly flushed cheeks. He seemed to be at least trying to keep his tongue -- he did, after all, want Remy to find Algernon and get rid of him before he lost his temper and thoroughly dispelled any chances of people voluntarilly following his wishes. But then Jack the Agile, as he so dubbed himself, just had to enter. Amethyst hues snapped onto the knight, soft, pale platinum hair whisking slightly as he turned his face to look at the man. Pale hands slowly clenched into fists at his sides as his shoulders tensed -- all signs for those who at all knew the prince's behavior.
He might have been able to keep his temper -- just maybe. But then the man started... started circling him and... Aurora's face twitched slightly from withheld anger, Jack yelled and... Aurora lost it.
"Something's wrong with me?!" the prince demanded, seeming to have completely snapped. "What, is it a problem that I was born male?! Am I just supposed to be -- to be some sort of triffling princess for all you stupid freaking men to fantasize about and to... to rescue or whatever the hell Mother wants just because she wishes she had a daughter?!?" His voice had reached an almost unbeleavable volume. Pale cheeks had flushed a bright red.
"And what do you mean deflowered?!?" he continued, hardly pausing for breath. "I'll inform you that I have in no way been deflowered, Sir, though I find your inquiring to be extremely rude -- and not only that, you barge into my room without so much as knocking like a certain idiot that I happen to know and then make false acusations? And more than that, you decided to inspect me like some sort of -- of damaged goods?" He was brimming over the top with his anger. "You... I don't care who you are -- be you the lowliest peasant or the richest of merchants. I do not want to so much as see your face again and if I do you may be certain that it will not end pleasantly for you," the prince said, his voice full of all the supressed and built-up loathing that Remy's and Jack's words and actions had provoked.
Amethyst eyes then snapped back to Remy and he said, "Fine. Resting, I suppose, is fine. But if you ever dare enter my room again without knocking then I shall make sure that the next time you are allowed out of your little gravy boat or whatever will be a time when you can properly behave yourself. For one so childish at your age I can say that it will take a considerable time." His words were cold and furious, his hands clenched into tight balls as he stared the pare down, his gaze fierce and vicious.

((Nolas, I hope you got the joke about Ernest. 8D;; Haha, I dunno... I guess I expect everyone to have read that play since Wilde is amazing.))
"No, no, I'm quite certain that it is Ernest," the queen replied, beaming happily. She was at least firm in her tendency to rename everyone she met. Once people grew close to her heart she made an effort to use their real names, but for strangers she prefered to make her own. Saphires glanced up towards the other as she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Now, Ernest, you may want to remove that hand. I don't want my darling Handsome to think that some young rogue is after me -- he might just cut your hand off! I swear, he is just so... so wonderfully romantic!" she exclaimed, looking quite dreamy-eyed -- in fact, she looked more like a love-stricken teenager than a married woman in her later thirties.
"Mmmm? Oh, yes, of course. We already started preparing the wedding for... for...." Pale brows wrinkled slowly from confusion and for a moment her eyes seemed clearer. She had already been planning the wedding since last night and yet... and yet she had only just met Ernest..... After a moment, however, those brilliant saphires fogged back over. "For... for your union with my daughter...." she continued, though she looked rather puzzled with her own words.

As the furious princess prince yelled at him, Jack took a step back and averted his eyes. "Please forgive me m'la- I mean sir. I did not mean to offend you, I was merely surprised." he said, bowing. "Please forgive me..." he repeated. He did not move after that, he simply stayed at a low bow, waiting for a response. He knew he would regret coming in there. He knew he would, so why the hell did he do it? Where was his better judgment?
