Mirai looked at Texas for a moment before sitting down and patting the spot in the grass next to her. The area they were in looked very peaceful. Nearby was a huge waterfall and lake, making the area around them much cooler.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas walked over to where Mirai had patted the ground and sat down. He watched the river for a moment. "You know I've told you some about The Machinist Order, right? And I mentioned sleeper agents?" He asked as his way of broaching the topic. And I just want to show them.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas looked over at her. "Shira thinks I'm one of them," he said flatly. "A sleeper agent. And that I'm going to trigger and then kill you." He let the statement hang, waiting to see what Mirai would say. He swallowed slightly as he stared at the river. If Mirai started becoming suspicious of him or even pushed him away...he didn't know what he would do. And I just want to show them.

Mirai glanced over at Texas after he spoke. She was silent for a few moments before deciding to speak "Well... if that is true... then we can work through it." she told him before taking his hand with hers. "I told you here... in this place... that I will stick by you no matter what. And I mean no matter what." she said with a serious expression. She didn't seem fazed by the fact that he could be a spy and would possibly kill her.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas stared at Mirai silently for a moment before he gripped her hand tightly and nodded. "Yeah. Besides, there's no way it's me. I know who I am. And I'm not going to hurt you." He paused for a moment, his thoughts drifting towards the possibility that he might.....no. It definitely wasn't him. "But honestly Mirai, a sleeper agent isn't something you just "work through". It's a lot more....serious than that. And people who are sleeper agents...sometimes they.....chose to be. And don't even remember that they did. Until they wake up." And I just want to show them.

Mirai continued staring at Texas "Even so... If you did choose to be a sleeper agent... all the things you did after leaving the Order weren't nothing." she said. "If you ended up being the agent and remembered everything, you would still... feel the way you felt about me. Because it isn't like you can fake things like that."

Mirai nodded before gently resting her head against Texas' shoulder. "You know... before I met you... My main goal was to make sure father didn't die and stayed with mother... and for things to go differently than that alternate universe's did... but then things began going down hill. I couldn't do anything to stop my father from being him... I was always expected to do things a certain way otherwise I would be talked down to. I couldn't make friends... People just saw me weirdly. Eventually I started thinking things... not good things... about if life would be alright if I just wasn't in it." she explained. "I didn't do anything... but I just thought it sometimes. Then I met you and everything got better. I didn't think like that anymore because I wanted to live. With you especially. My new goal was to make sure that we would stick together." she said, obviously this was the first time she had ever admitted these things.

- Eli - (Reverse Max) ---------------------------------- With one swing of the arm, a stranger sent a strong slash towards Mirai and Texas as he attempted to gain their attention. Maybe you two will be my prey for while. He said as he jumped down from the ledge he sent the attack from. Before we begin, please tell me your names I want to know who I'm attacking. He said as he prepared himself to kill.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas was about to respond to Mirai when he felt an attack coming straight towards them. He pulled Mirai out of the way, narrowly dodging the attack with her as he turned to face his new opponent. "Now's a really bad time," he told the newcomer angrily. "We're Texas and Mirai and we don't want any trouble. That's why we came out here in the first place." He glared at the newcomer clenching his fists. And I just want to show them.

Mirai's wavelength flared up from agitation as the person came by. "Yeah... I've alright fought three of you guys today and really don't feel like fighting you..." she said. She was silent for a moment before a portal appeared "Come on..." she muttered before launching a quick telekinetic blast towards the stranger just to humor him. She went into the portal then. Once Texas would go through, it would quickly close behind them. ((exit))
