`•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ Shira walked through the portal and landed on the ground, already preparing herself for the wave of madness. She used her soul perception then to find the item which would most likely be the only place that wasn't infected by madness. She saw Atticus then "Hey! You better wait for us, we have to stick together during this part!" She called to him. As she stood there, looking around, a light orb appeared in front of her, similar to the one in the gluttony chapter. It floated in front of her before moving slightly as if it was showing her which way to go. She smiled slightly at it "Hold on a moment..." She said quietly. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas's eyes widened as he looked up to see Michi's death aura. He quickly scrambled backwards and climbed up the statue he had been leaning against. When he was at the top he looked down at Michi. "Someone keep that serial killer away from me!" he yelled down. And I just want to show them.

  ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Hearing Shira, Atticus would look back, and as he did he would see the same light orb that he saw in an earlier chapter. Closing his eyes, Atticus would stop momentarily, "What's the point in sticking together when it would be easier to go off and find the item by myself." he said as he turn his back, "I don't any reason for me to wait for you all. In truth, you will only slow me down." Atticus then looked back at the orb, "That thing was what guided us to the portal in gluttony, so it is safe to assume it will lead you to either the portal or the item that we are here for. As long as you follow that, everything will be okay. I on the other-hand, do not wish to go just yet, so I will go my own way." Atticus said, completely brushing off Shira and the others.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

"..Hey! you found it?! hm... I should be careful.. let's go in guys." Michi spoke quietly carefully walking in the portal and exits out. Once he stopped speaking she glanced at him "Suit yourself then..." She said before turning and waiting for the others. A few moments later the orb pushed itself out of her hands and took off. "Eh..." Shira looked between the portal and the orb before taking off after it "Wait! We have to wait for the others!" She called as she ran after it. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas followed the others into the portal, just in time to see Shira run off after a ball of light. "Wait!" he called, beginning to run after her. He took several steps forward then suddenly fell to his knees, clutching his head. He cried out in pain as the sheer weight of the madness began to affect him. He felt it creeping into his mind through cracks in the mental barrier he had been trained to create at the Academy. It was finally wearing down after all the pressure put on it in the previous chapters. The force was overwhelming as his eyes widened and his pupils contracted, the madness beginning to alter his thinking. And I just want to show them.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ As he went off on his own, the farther he got away from the gate and closer towards the center of the world, the madness would grow at a frightening pace. "I have already let this madness consume me once, I will not let it do it again." he said as he managed to shake off the madness. Soon he would come across a tall building, looking up he would tell that it was a clock tower, due to the obvious clock at it top. Entering the tower, Atticus would slowly make his way up to the top, "I will be able to see farther now that I am up here." Reaching the top, Atticus would look out over the entire area. As he did, he would be able to see the portal through which he came from. While looking at the portal, he would realize that Shira and the orb were gone, not paying too much detail to he would look to another direction.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

`•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ Shira ran after it before jumping in the air and catching it "Gotcha!" She said with a grin before falling down on the ground. She stared down at it before realizing that she didn't feel the madness at all with it around "This little guy definitely has something to do with the item..." She said before standing up. She looked around, realizing she was lost "You got me lost again...." She muttered to the orb which seemed to shine slightly like it was laughing at her for falling for its prank again. She used her soul perception then and saw that Michi and Texas were nearby but surrounded by madness. She felt a echo in her head then, it wasn't a voice but something else. She looked at the orb then in her hand and suddenly realized something. This is like a soul almost... maybe if I connect my wavelength with this I can help the others and also find the item... she thought as she sat up, attempting to give it a try. She closed her hands around the orb then and focused quietly in the darkness around her. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

Some men just want to see the world burn... As the madness seeped deeper and deeper into his mind, red began to cloud his vision. Just as the last shades of color were fading, Texas felt a presence in his mind, as if a candle had suddenly been lit. For a moment the red stopped flowing and then slowly began to recede. The light was pushing the madness back like water pushing back dirt. He took his hands off of his head. "What's....happening...?" he asked as the light filled his head. The red had disappeared and the madness had been burned out of his mind. He sat back, looking up to see Shira concentrating and holding a ball of light. Somehow he knew what had saved him was in there. He could feel the madness still all around him, but the light had pushed it back, out of his mind. And I just want to show them.

`•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ Shira continued focusing, the orb disappeared suddenly and her soul wavelength increased, becoming faintly visible around her. Several pulses of energy started launching from her soul and around the area. "Echo of the soul..." She muttered as a blast of energy launched in a circle around the area. It quickly went past the others, when it hit them, calming melodic sounds would suddenly go through their minds and hopefully purify any madness affecting them at the moments as well as repel it long enough for them to find the item. Once it hit a certain distance around everyone, the pulse bounced and came back to Shira. She opened her eyes then I found where the item is... hopefully it helped the others too... she thought as she stood up and stumbled slightly "That move is a drainer..." She muttered dizzily as she managed to catch herself and take a few moments to rest where she was standing. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost." ((good time to introduce her new ability emotion_yatta Echo of the Soul: A ability Shira learned in the book of Eibon, this allows her to purify the madness that is currently affecting the souls around her. ))

He stood there to watch a bit and then turns around in a swift motion to see Shira and the Blue weapon enter to the next portal. Then Michi and Texas right after them."Yare, yare...maybe I should've not made that promise to clean the cellar...." Gin jogging right behind the group. As He enetered the massive portal, on the other side he saw Texas, Michi were going insane, while Shira was in the distance with a orb of light, though no Blue head. Just as he took the first step into the chapter, madness rushed out of nowhere. Though this time he was prepared. Gin stood his ground while the increase of veins appeared around his eyes and body. Blood started to come out of his nose and the side of his mouth as he resisted it. Then all of sudden the madness was dispersed with a shock-wave of light coming from Shira. Gin quickly recovered and picks up Texas and Michi under his arm and rushed over to Shira. "We must hurry...something worse might happen." Saying it in a dangerous tone. As he got to Shira he quickly gave eye contact to her, telling her to lead the way A.S.A.P.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ While still at the top of the tower, Atticus would see a circular light of energy form over an area and then almost instantly head towards the portal. Atticus watched as it hit both Texas and Michi and seemingly repelled the madness. Once the light had reached a rather long distance, Atticus notice how it would bounce backwards and head towards the same direction it had came from. "That must have come from the item." he thought as he stood onto the ledge of the clock tower and then jumped down, landing with a rather hard thud, creating a mini crater underneath him. After standing up, Atticus would dash off towards the location of the mysterious light. After about a good 20 minute run, Atticus would reach the place he had seen. Once there, he would notice that the only thing there was Shira, "Why are you here?" he asked as he looked her over, "Did you see where that light originate from?"▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Just as soon as her appearance was starting to change, a bell started ringing as it got louder and louder as the essence surrounded her mind draining the madness away in a sealed box changing back her eye colors.
Shaking her head groaning very hard mentally cursing at herself seeing Texas okay and Shira holding a orb in which was the only source on helping them. The madness was consuming inside and around but the bells was still ringing in a peaceful melody. ╚════════╝± : . : ±╚════════╝ You know the game and all it holds, Watch it now as it unfolds Mood: Alerted

She said before turning, she was about to run but saw him "The light was from the ability I just learned..." She told him simply before turning "We need to hurry..." She said as she started running. She ran as fast as she could, they only had so much time before the madness would start affecting all of them. Finally she stopped in front of a building that was twisted and bent looking. She stared at it nervously before walking in, looking around to see just a flight of stares. She felt the madness in the building was very weak meaning the item was there. She walked up the stairs quietly then. The orb of light is one with my soul now so it should respond when the item is near... she thought as she placed a hand on her chest. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."
