Erm, about the chakra control. I think it takes up an actual slot for shinobi types (I'm assuming "skills" meant "types"), meaning that you can only really choose one shinobi skill. Would it be alright if that was the case?
Well, I don't know all of the jutsus in this guild, but I still think there's some skills in the clan that aren't available as regular jutsus. Admittedly, a lot of them are, but that's kind of needed when you can only learn ten ninjutsus and ten genjutsus. Also, the Tsuchigumo can use all five elements up to a point, which isn't really found in any other clan. Not to mention, just the way they perform jutsus is special in and of itself. It only requires one hand unlike the usual two hands. There's a few more points, but those regard specific jutsus and so are a bit scattered for a general overview.
Yes, Dohasuten does seem a bit excessive if you just look at what it does, but it's not like it's something that can be executed in a blink of an eye. For one, the entire village can easily know about it so there's no chance of sneaking it in. For another, it takes 10 posts of absolutely no movement to prepare and then another 15 posts after the skill has been used where the user is an easy target. Then there's the two days where they have only half of their chakra available for use, continuing to make them somewhat vulnerable. With all of the drawbacks and difficulty of just executing the technique it doesn't seem that bad. If you want, I could have a minimum time limit between posts or something of that sort so that no one goes on in the dead of night and makes ten posts in ten minutes.

Simply the ability to see 360 degrees for ninety feet around you is too similar to the Byakugan to be allowed. But they are not all huma nekomata is a ninja cat and uses genjutsu on sasuke [episode 189] Condor over the process of the anime actually turns from an normal pet to a ninja animal [ episode 185] So again your logic is flawed your basicly going I don't want it so no. If your running an RP based on an anime you can't just cut out parts cause you feel like it. Your second arguement is just as flawed they can't see at all so there for they cannot be like a vision based bloodline not to mention hyuga is close range they are long range and animal users.

It's not because Greg "doesn't like it", it's because the clan itself doesn't fit into the guild. The clan is pretty much the equivalent of a summon, to be honest.
And he probably means your clan possess a replica of the Byakugans ability except they do it through hearing. Also, unlike the Byakugan, they do not have a 'blind spot'. In addition we already have a clan with sonar abilities, Otomasen or something like that.

And if Naruto descredits something we think would be a good feature in our guild, we're gonna change it. Naruto does not govern POTS, POTS governs POTS. On the debate with the Hyuuga copied ability, That is NOT THE POINT. The point is that you have an ability to see (I don't care if its sonar, it still gives you the image) in 360 degrees, for ninety feet around you. Now, tell me that doesn't resemble the Byakugan.

Since their beginnings the bloodline has moved and scattered across the ninja world. Most members of this bloodline find their calling in taijutsu some however work in mines since the bloodlines abilities make them perfect for both of these jobs. Strengths: Physically Strong [+1 rank damage when using taijutsu or weapons] Weaknesses: Learn jutsu slowly [+1 post for learning anything other then taijutsu and weapons] Ability: Kinetic Absorption; The Kinetsu learn to absorb the energy from impacts [punches kicks & falling objects] and store it to use later.[can only absorb attacks your rank and lower, and only three blows of your rank can be absorbed completely before the energy has to be released.(lower rank attacks take up half the space per every 2 ranks lower ex; a jonin can absorb 6 genin level)] this skill allows the user to bring falling objects to a stop but they still have their normal weight meaning if a boulder falls onto a clan member it loses the extra energy from the fall but is still extremely heavy and if the user can't lift it or hold it up it could still crush the user. [Absorbing counts as a jutsu for the max per round] Bloodline/Clan Jutsus:Genin Releasing Punch/Kick; The Kinetsu member releases the energy from one of the absorbed attacks to increase the force of their punch or kick by one rank Chunin Hard Head-butt; The Kinetsu member releases energy from two of the absorbed attacks into a head butt which matches the members rank in power Instill Energy The Kinetsu member makes contact with an object for two post during that time they can move and dodge but must remain in contact with the object they also cannot use their absorbing ability during this time. At the end of the second post the object will glow slightly and the next thing to contact it will cause it to explode [like a paper bomb] for each additional round of contact they can put on more ranks worth on energy into it and increase the power of the explosion. Jonin Shooting Star; The user leaps into the air and dives shoulder first toward the target releasing all the held energy upon impact which adds two ranks to the damage done. [note this can be done running but it only does one extra ranks damage and the user cannot turn during the attack]

Karyū Clan
"Flame Dragons"
Strong, Painful, Fire
The Karyū are entities that manifest themselves in chosen fire users, each dragon possessing its own unique flame jutsu. Each dragon is an embodiment of the soul of a previous fire master who died with regrets and/or without being able to fulfill his/her mission. These 'dragon spirits' posses their own personality and some are harder to reach then others. The one who was the hardest to reach, because you had to come in contact with all seven other dragons, became known as the strongest dragon that the humans could contact and control. The humans who made contact with these spirits became known as the Flame Dragon Summoners, when there was only a select few who could contact these fire dragons, but when the decendants of these humans rose of age, they too began making contact with these spirts and using them in battles. Soon these fearless people who where not scared of the dead became known as the Karyū Clan.
Many fire users competed to control these spirts as the ammount that could talk to them grew. Soon the Spirit Dragons had enough and turned against all those they thought where to weak. In the end, only one was found worthy to use the 'Eight Dragon Jutsus' and he found that if he used all Eight Jutsu at once, he could possibly destroy a village. Scared that he would be tempted to use the jutsu, he sealed 1/5 of the power he had gained into 5 bracelets. After he sealed his power into the bracelets he then sold them to random people on the streets of his home village. He knew that the only way that the forbidden jutsu could be used was if the five bands where reunited and the ninja who held them could over power his seals. Confident that these bracelets would never be found. The man, when he was finally close to death, told his wife about the Fire Spirits and after he died, she wrote a letter to the Hokage of the Hidden Leaf and personally delievered it to him. Now the Karyū Leagacy lives on...
Strengths:
* CLAN Jutsu is one rank higher [D becomes C]
* Mentally Stable [-1 Post for Genjutsu]
* Katon Jutsu Expert [-1 Post for Katon Jutsu]
Weakness:
* NOT emune to fire - If rules of the hand signs are not followed, this could prove fatal.
* Clan Jutsu cost one rank higher then normal [Genin Jutsu cost Chuunin Chakra Ammounts]
* Spirits will not aid while fighting Bijuu - The Spirits believe in a 'code' of peace between each other and will not attack another spirit. Hence, they will not lend you their jutsu while fighting Bijuu.
* Slow Special Hand Signs Reqired
* Learning Jutsu could be fatal.
Clan JutsuGenin
Stage One
*The user is mentally aware of voices that are calling out his or her name. In this stage the user is really stressed and wants the noise to stop. The user also finds that it is incredibly hard for them to use Katon Jutsu [+2 for learning post]*Stage Two
Nadare Fireball
Nadare is the first Flame Dragon with the power to produce fireballs. She is the friendliest of all the dragons and is often used in battle along with Saiha.
Description
The user extends his/her finger into the air and Draws the symbol for Nadare. The user then says 'Nadare Fireball' and fireballs begin to fly from the users finger. This jutsu is the same as the Incinerating Hail Technique, save for that you don't use your hand. Use you just a finger and you point it in the direction you want the fireballs to fly. This jutsu is EQUAL in strength with the Incinerating Hail Technique (with the bonus), though Genin can use it.
*The user reaches this stage after preforming ten successful Mystical Flower Jutsu. In this stage the user learns about the voices and then becomes oddly comfortable with the voices.*
Stage Three Saiha Flame Sword  Saiha is the second Flame Dragon with the power to produce a blade of fire. He is the dragon most used because of his useful jutsu.Description The user extends his/her finger into the air and Draws the symbol for Saiha. The user then says Saiha Flame Sword and a whisp of fire began to engulf his fist and forms into a tangeable sword that extended three feet out from his fist.*The user reaches this stage after he/she preforms twenty Nadara Fireballs*
Chuunin
Stage Four
Homura
Flame Whip & Extra Strength
Homura is the third Flame Dragon with the power to create flame whips and enhance his master's strength.
Whip Description
The user extends his/her finger into the air and Draws the symbol for Homura. The user then says 'Homura Flame Whip' and a whip of circular flame that extends for ten feet forms in his hand.
Extra Strength Description
The user uses the kai sign and says 'Homura Strength' and his/her arms become engulfed in flames for burning and powerful hits that will hurt three times as much for five post..
*The user reaches this stage after he or she becomes Chuunin and successfully use Saiha and Nadare's moves in rapid succession (2 post) successfully five times. The user is also able to begin using two jutsu at once. (See the 'Double Jutsu' section for more details.)*
Stage Five Setsuna Burning Gaze  Setsuna is the fourth Flame Dragon. He can burn anyone who is in view of his users eyes. He is a cruel, sadistic ninja who lives only to hurt anyone and everyone.Description The user extends his/her finger into the air and Draws the symbol for Setsuna. The user says 'Setsuna Burning Gaze'. The user then feels a burning sensation in his eyes. Everyone that has their eyes open, included his/her friends, are in veiw of the users eyes, become engulfed by a burning flame that last for one full post. *Conditions may apply**The User reaches this stage after he/she successfully mixes atleast two jutsu ten times.*
Jonin
Stage Six
Madoka Barrier
Madoka is the fifth Flame Dragon with the power to create barriers. He was a chubby ninja who speaks politely, but is rather sarcastic.
Description
The user extends his/her finger into the air and Draws the symbol for Madoka. The user says 'Madoka Barrier'. Then the user, and those standing within five feet from him, are protected from everything outside the barrier for up to three post. [One post = 100% Health] [Two post = 50%] [Three post [25%-]
*The user reaches this stage after he/she becomes Jonin and has successfully preformed five Setsuna Burning Eyes without hurting his/her team mates*
Stage Seven Rui Genjutsu  Rui is the sixth Flame Dragon who has the power to create illusions. She was a beautiful kunoichi who was not afraid to use her body as an advantage in combat. She is very fond of riddles.Description The user extends his/her finger into the air and Draws the symbol for Rui. The user says 'Rui Genjutsu'. The user then forms the kai symbol and begins to 'create a scene' in his/her head. Whatever you create is what the ONE person saw for three post.*The User reaches this stage after he/she preforms a successful three post 'Madoka Barrier' three times and answers the 'Rui Riddle'.*
Sanin & Kage Stage Eight Kokū Fire Beam  Koku's power takes the form of a giant, concentrated laser beam that is three five in radius.Description The user extends his/her finger into the air and Draws the symbol for Koku. The user then says 'Koku Fire Beam' and a larce concentrated Laser beam shoots out for about twenty feet. (Last one post)*The user reaches this stage by successfully using a 'Rui Genjutsu' twice in a rescue, assasination, or capturing mission. In this stage the user begins to be able to physically see the dragons as if they where there, though they come and go at the user's descretion.*
Stage Nine Resshin Afterlife & Flash  Resshin is the eighth Flame Dragon, and its leader. He has the ability to extract the soul of one enmeny and merge it with the soul of his user, right before his user dies. His other ability allows his user to intensify the sun.Afterlife Descrption This jutsu is basically a body transfering jutsu. If the user is close to death he places his/her index and middle finger over his/her heart and says 'Resshin Afterlife'. The user then points at the person who beat him/her to the point of death. His/Her enemy's soul responds to the tug and is yanked out of thier body and is placed inside of the user's body. The result of this jutsu is death for both people.Flash Description The user draws the sign for Resshin and says 'Resshin Flash'. Heat, no matter if the sun is not out, entisifies, rendering most jutsu unuseful. (Earth is slowed. Water is cut. Lighning is weakened. Wind is doubled. Fire is quadroupled.)*The user reaches this stage by successfully completing all jutsu, at least five times, up to stage seven. NO Conditions apply.*

Double Jutsu
* In this clan, two jutsu can be used at the same time, due to the fact that the hand signs only require one hand.
* When using two jutsu at once, the user must use both hands and draw two different signs.
* The jutsus that may be used at the same time are all the jutsu up to Stage Five.
* Stage Six through Nine have too strong of a jutsu to use at the same time as the rest.
* The signs have to be drawn in decending order for it to work without damage to the user. (Example : Sahai with left hand; Nadare with right hand)

Painful, yet Neccessary
1.) Each Dragon Spirit's Jutsu(s) can only be used a certain amount of times per battle. Some jutsu may last longer then others, but if you use to many of these jutsu, you could burn yourself. If you do burn yourself, your newest dragon will lose faith in you, causing you to lose a Jutsu ( -Stage ).
2.) This isn't the only thing that can cause pain. If the user preforms a jutsu without a target, it is liable to backfire 50% of the time he/she does it. This is do to the different personalities of each dragon. Some may or may not allow you to use their jutsu to train.
3.) If, for any reason, the user tries to use a Dragon Spirit's jutsu to assult a Bijuu, the attack immediatly backfires, causing a fire three times hoter then normal Katon t to engulf the user for up to five post.
4.) Due to the extreme ammounts of Katon that the user uses from the dragons, the user is liable to suddenly catch on fire(1/5 Chance) every time they learn Katon Jutsu.

Each spirit dragon you come in contact with, by mental telepathy, grants you one jutsu. I said not to judge it until I was finished because its not limited to a 'clan'. It wasn't specified that ONLY members within the clan could summon them, though summoning has nothing to do with it.

As for the RP sample. I'm not really sure if I want them for my character. I just want to see if my 1% beats gregar's 99%
