Kate stepped forward slowly and gingerly touched her fingertips to the furry tail. All at once, the trembling stopped, and then Jin was surrounded in a tremendously powerful hug.

"I figured..." Jin managed to get out while struggling to breathe, his fur starting to stand on end. "Any chance you're going to let me go soon?"

Sheo, who was likely a victim of Attention Deficit Disorder, shook her head. "Not a chance, my furry pal--"
And that was when she saw the bookcase.
And then she relinquished her fierce hug on Jin, to step around him and walk over to the bookcase. Then, with a single hand, she flung every single book off of the bookcase.
Only one book refused to budge. Sheo took this book and pulled with all her might, which was a very incredible force to be reckoned with. The book tore in half, and that was when Sheo realized that the book wasn't supposed to be pulled off of the shelf--it was supposed to be pushed into the shelf.
So she did, and then the empty bookshelf swung open, into a secret passageway.

He handed Daisuke a small earpiece.

"Okay, but I don't see what it's going to do."
"I can understand you!" Daisuke was surprised, considering that English was his worst subject in school.
"Now, Aurelio-san, we need you to stay here and give directives."
"I believe you mean 'directions.'
"Ah! My english isn't well."
"That's 'good.' They mean the same thing, but-- wow, it's hard to explain."

"What the--How the--You the--" Jin stuttered pointing at Sheo in disbelief. he'd lived her for quite a while and not once did he know about that.

Sheo shrugged. "I had no idea," she replied. "Just always wanted to try that." Then Sheo disappeared into the hidden passageway.

"Still, i thought i knew this place like the back of my hand...Guess i was wrong, huh?" Jin said following Sheo, books now scattered all over the floor now. one forgotten book had landed open to a page with a picture of a catboy that beared a striking resemblance to the rival brothers. but right now, Jin and Sheo seemed more interested in the mysterious passageway.
((foreshadowing, MUAHAHAHA!!!))

"What part of 'i didnt know this was here' didnt you understand?" Jin said flatly as they walked down a series of stone stairs. at the bottom was a wooden door painted deep red. "Let's see whats behind door number one, shall we?" he said opening the door and stepping into a room that looked like some sort of oriental shrine from China. "Ooooookaaayyy...Didn't know the old man was into tao..." he said slowly raising an eyebrow as he looked around at the decor. a folding screen, paper lanterns, chinese characters and other asian paraphernalia were set up all over the place with one big yin yang on the ground.
