Cal tried to pull away again, hating so much to look at the scars. But he actually set his eyes on them, just looking at them. Burns and scald marks that hadnt healed correctly. he had been mostly human until he was 16, never healing like a demon or showing any bit of being one...So he had had to deal with all the healing slowly and blood and pain...Cal pushed it away, but not at Hecate, to the back of his head. He finally reached up, covering Hecate's hand with his and pulling her fingers slowly away from his skin. "You dont need my pain.."He said, his cold eyes looking up to rest on Hecate's face. It was his pain. As much as he loathed it, he didnt want to share it. It was what made Cal...Well, Cal.

She quickly let go seeing how he was uncomfortable. "If that is what you want then I will respect your wishes..." She wanted to get close to him but she also didn't want to pry. Hecate sat on the couch again. Not sure of what to say to him at all. "If you ever want to talk about something like that again....Then I'll listen." She hoped he would at least agree to that.

Callooked up at her, "I'm not angry with you Hecate.."he said softly.Cal looked down at his arm, covering it again with his sleeve...He thought for a moment. "What do you think of them?" He said, holding up his sleeved arm, meaning the scars. He had show Emute once, and she of all people and been disgusted...and grossed out...His arms weren't the only places were scars were either...

She gave him a warm smile. "I'm not disgusted at all Cal and you shouldn't be either. Your scars are beautful to me as strange as it sounds." She blushed a little then turned around. She lifted up her shirt showing a huge gash of a scar on her back. It was deep and ran down her back diagonally. "Scars are a reminder of the time that we were all once mortal..." She lifted her shirt down. "They all tell a story."

Cal's eyes filled with pity again at the sight of it...He had marks on his back too...Multiple..Cal's father didn't fancy him very much.He swallowed, looking at his sleeves. "I'm not disgusted at the scars themselves...they show that I went through that..."He answered, his eyes resting on her. "Im disgusted at the fact that I didnt fight back and prevent them..."Cal said, his voice cracking a little. He hated himself for having put up with the pain for all those years...

Hecate went up to him and reached out to him. "It's allright Cal. Don't blame yourself." She gently caressed his cheek. "I never had the strenght to fight back. I wasn't that brave." She got closer to him meeting her gaze with his. "Sometimes they make it seem like there is no fighting back. I'm proud that you did it at all."

Cal closed his eyes, leaning his head lightly towards her hand, reaching up to put his hand over hers. He couldn't think of a respond to that...He still loved her for who she was, even if she had done all that she had done..it didn't matter. Cal had fought back at one point..And he had killed his father...Cal leaned forward and kissed Hecate.."Thanks.."he murmured lightly.

"You are so cute Cal!" She laughed a little teasing him. She practically glumped him causing him to fall over onto the couch. "When are you gonna be a man allready? You don't have to be so nice to me all the time." She gave him a wink signally her playfullness.

Cal smiled, almost laughing actually.."I'm not a man though...Im still 17...Technically at least.."he laughed at his own personal joke.."be so nice? Would you rather me treat you like dirt?" He asked, his eyebrows raised and looking up at her..Her 'glomp' had made him fall over..

She gave him a sexy smile in response. "Well that would certainly be a change." She kissed his neck and collarbone. "I'm just not used to a gentleman. But that's why I love you so much." Her kisses went down to his chest. "It's so hard to tell if you are in the mood or not."

He smiled, sitting up a little, just so he could look at her. "It's hard to tell?" He asked, raising his eyebrows in response. "I didnt think it was.."he answered, leaning forward to kiss her, then kissed her neck; the first time he'd done so...He didnt want temptation, but figured he'd see her reaction...

She giggled at his touch. "Well yes it is. You're not a vampire so I can't smell your scent to tell if you're in heat." She moved her head a little to expose more neck. "I definately can't 'feel' you. Although I heard a rumor that demon's were always...full of blood down there." She really didn't want to actually say it. "I'm also used to guys just taking it. So this really is new."

Cal smiled, leaning his head against her shoulder, trying to hide his smile..."I love how blunt you are.."He said, his face close to her neck..Very close. He pulled away after feeling his fangs unsheath a little. He kept his mouth closed, for some reason not wanting her to see his fangs..."Who told you that rumor?" he finally asked, smiling.

She chuckled a little. "A lot of people say that. It's mostly a vampire rumor though. We often get curious about the others." Her hands ran up into his coat and tugged on it a little. "I guess you would have to show me whether it was true or not."
