Regal smiled as Ann saw Sammy, he was eager to see how she would take it. He felt really welcome by now, and was very glad that he'd been put in Gryffindor.... even if the hat said he was a Slytherin on the outside, all that mattered was that within he was a true Gryffindor.

Kitty settled down with her cocoa near the fire. "I hope Professor Adonis can find enough teachers this year," she mused, then brightened. "Then again, there's usually a teacher shortage before term, but everything always works out in the end. 3nodding "

Regal smiled and also said "Happy New Year's!!!!" In all his excitement about coming to Hogwarts he'd forgotten all about New Year's. Regal took a glance out the window, but everything outside remained dark.... oh well, perhaps next year.

*pokes Common Room* Eh...dead again...*shrugs* Well there are still open positions for Quidditch! Remember everyone who tried out last term, you're positions are open to others. So if you're interested in Quidditch, please sign up for our team *puppy dog eyes* even if you get a question wrong. There are only two players as of now : Me and Hayden.

Regal looked around and decided that it was time for some sleep, it had been a very long day and as a result, he was very tired. He waved and said goodnight to everyone, then walked up to bed.
