*He shivered and backed against a wall, almost as if hoping to escape his own shadow. You could see the whites of his eyes*

Silent observation had been the original plan. He had been watching from a distance away, wondering how long the situation would last. So far it seemed the human workers had affairs well enough in order topside. That was all well and good, though it made the observation tedious. Until another DeSeer arrived. The ghost was still "Iden", in a sense. The blood was still the same. So for the fleeting moment, he knew Azrael was close. Then he was gone. For the briefest time, he almost suspected that his sibling would be planning a similar ambush as himself. But then a strange sight caught his eye. A worker on the roof. Silently the ghost scoped in. He hadn't seen the movement there before, it was as if the man had just appeared. More importantly...he was bearing marks of the Sabbat. It was just a little too convenient to not consider. Quietly, he cursed. Sending the message would mean he'd need to divert his attention. But with things as they stood... ------------------------------------------ Azrael's phone would recieve a brief message. It was in text, written out from an anonymous number. Hintings of defection. Politics demand accounting, avoid confirming the rumors. Better to play their game than be a hero.It was all that was written. ------------------------------------------ On the rooftop, he quietly set his phone aside. He only hoped the elder DeSeer understood something of what was going on. As much as the ghost wanted the Syndicate to be called in, to give him a target...it would not end well if it did. The heart would be subjected to danger, and that just wouldn't do...

*Shadows lashed out to restrain Darren, and to cover his mouth, as Azrael, still safe in a somewhat 'pocket dimension' inside the kines shadow, flipped open his phone. He would raise an eyebrow and send an immediate reply.*
No. 1 Who the hell is this?
No. 2 what the hell are you talking about?
You somehow know who and where I am, but I expect an answer or I will proceed as planned...
*He snapped the phone shut and waited, stewing. Not knowing who the message was from, and the fact that in truth he had NO idea what was happening, the message was too brief and uninformative to influence him, he would not know it had been deliberatly written quickly.*

Of course he couldn't just get it the first time.
By now it was a little late. He'd have to relocate. With matters as they were...well, he didn't like risks, but making calls in and out of the building was a big one.
Quietly, he pulled his rifle up with him and made for the rooftop access of his perch. The final reply had been sent.
You look like a shovelhead, and your bloodline is assumed traitor. Fix the problem or make it worse, your call.
As soon as he finished writing the message, he had ripped the battery from the phone and tossed both aside. He'd just get a new one.

*Azraels eyes widened and he flipped his phone shut. With his aura and presence gone, no-one would recognise him, but this was still bad. He wondered what he should do next, cutting and running seemed like a good idea, but he needed to take care of Darren. Part of him really didn't want to kill Darren number two. Shadows constricted around the pair, and they reappeared on the roof, Darren unconcious.
He looked around the nearby rooftops for whomever had contacted him, sensing something oddly familiar.*

Meaningless. Completely inconsequential was the fact Iden, or rather that DeSeer's current personage and Azrael were so near to this, the site of what was rapidly becoming a ground zero. Fenrir couldn't have cared less if he HAD known they were present, this was his business still, granted it had exploded to cover a much wider range of people.
Fenrir's luminescent eyes of white would drift upward as he heard Raoul's voice all around him, gums bared as his jaw tightened, that beastial snarl not fading from his throat.
"Oh SHUT up bureaucrat. You've charmed yourself with your own forke tongue and poisoned words! That Cainite granted me the benefit of the doubt because I sacrificed myself fighting Abaddon. I gave her the same because she helped to rehabilitate me for my troubles!"
Fenrir would walk some few steps closer to the center of the room, eyes scanning his surroundings for any sign of the Cainite prince as he went on.
"You want to bring some form of judgment down on her, because you THINK she is in LEAGUE with me aGAINST you, you paranoid little politician? Go ahead, I work alone, and have one mission. TAT is why I came here Sit down? I sat before, and you tried to play the Bond villain game on me. I caved and tried to play the rational game, now YOU have to play the same game, litle man."
Fenrir would rest the blade in his right hand over his shoulder, and hap hazardly bring his left hand up on display, preparing his fingers to snap.
"BRING me, the one you already KNOW I hunt for, let him fight for himself in a fair one on one fight, OR join in if you want, makes no difference to me, and when he is destroyed, my mission will be complete, and I will no longer be, a Hunter. I will meerly be a defender. OR... I can turn this entire shire into one great crater, littered with ice, fire, darkness, light and lightning. NOTHING will survive.... You think I've blackmailed Roan into the belief that I can restore unlife, to her dead son?.. I dont have that power, Cainite. I do however have the power to TAKE it from all of you. BRING me my prey, and you will never hear of me again."

Does he speak truth, Lady DeSeer? Dunno why you're asking me, you could find out for yourself.
*In the middle of the floor, shadows coalesced, spitting out Roan and the man who'd come to fetch her. The metal bands that HAD been over his wrists had slid down over her hands and contracted around her wrists - haemox. Both arms locked in front of her, further chains at her wrists, Roan stood passively in the man's grasp, a knife at her throat, a dagger at her back, over her heart... IDEN'S heart. Dangrous, prehaps, but she seemed utterly at ease, even as black lines crawled through her skin from the haemox contact*
I do not venture into the minds of those who may be enemies. Especially after knowing your son. Do not speak of him. You dont have the right. Then he IS lost? No, I know exactly where he is. Sadly... he will not be rejoining us. So. Other than pissing off a really rather dangerous ancient, what ya been up to Raoul? Well thats just it, isnt it Roan? No orders from Syn save the same round of general orders week in, week out. Not even the other two Princes have seen one of you for a fortnight... Care to explain? Not here, no. In private? Maybe. Then call off your attack dog and we shall talk. Cant call off what I dont own. I should think he's told you that. Fenrir isnt mine. He's a friend, not a colleague.
*She smirked, then winced as the aide holding her nicked her neck*
Call HIM off though Raoul before he does damage neither of us can afford... Let her go Sebastian. Sir... Do it. It's ok 'Bastian, you can leave the chains on. I'll be good.
*she breathed out as she was released, then looked at Fenrir*
Could you please leave my home county in one piece for five minutes while I bargain with Raoul? I promise, you'll get your blood. But I'd rather like to walk out of here without digging my way out of the rubble.

Baring his teeth at the lap dog that brought Roan up not but a few paces away, Fenrir listened to the conversation between both Roan, and Raoul intently. Though he never once lowered his hand, nor did he part his finger and thumb from the prepared snap.
As Roan was released however, and bid him not take the excessively offensive fast track to destruction, promising him his prey, Fenrir lowered the hand, and parted the digits. He however, left the glyphs as they were, dotted all across the room, and outside.
"Fine..."

See? Amazing what you get when you ask nicely. You should practice Raoul. Show yourself, at least.
*The mist drifted down, coalesced into the form of the General, looking VERY wary*
Talk to me Roan. Not here. Come.
*She led the way to the graveyard exit, coming out and waving both hands slightly over her head as they emerged into the daylight, and took refuge beneath a tree*
And that was for? My sniper on the rooftops. My people dont take kindly to you kidnapping me. ARRESTING you. You dont have that authority and Sebastian didnt tell me I was being detained when he came for me. Because you would have run. No, I would have incinerated him on the spot. Same differance. As you like. Now, I believe you have somehting my friend wants. Care to tell me why you're being so difficult? He wants Justin. ....oh. Wait WHAT? It's Justin's blood. If you'd actually TOUCHED it, you'd have known. I didnt... I just stuck the bandage in the scanner... no wonder your blood was showing up in it. I can only assume it happened before he came to me. I have never seen him kill... I want to talk to him then, before you turn him over. Who says Im going to? I do, because Im going to give you the greatest opportunity of your unlife. ... I sincerely doubt that, but go on.
*Quickly and succintly, she talked of her war against Syn and the whys, telling Raoul EVERYTHING... suprising, if you didnt know her and her relation to the old Gangrel. She even spoke of her plans to break from the Sect and go independant*
Im old and tired, Raoul. Nowhere near as old as you, but more worn from my job. I want free of it al, especially for my boys. The job has taken too many of them from me already. So you would destroy the only structure we have then just walk away? No, I would cut out the rotten heart and walk away to let new blood in. To let those that HAVE the power and sense to rule become the new Syn and remember that even the mightiest can be killed. And in return... we would become mercenaries. Only working for those we choose to, not by force. We would no longer be Brujah, simply DeSeer. Thus, we cannot be held accountable to Camarilla edicts or subjects of a hunt. ....who would you have take up the roles you leave behind? That would not be for me to decide. Let the strongest rule, if they wish it. I figure you'll make agood run for it. Someone with some sense would have to... Someone who knows whats coming would have a headstart you could say... ..... Bring Justin to me. He cant abide daylight. We'll have to go back inside to him. That suit you Fenrir? I want a few minutes to talk to him, and he is yours. His life in exchange for so many is small price to pay, for all he is useful. Jane will attack you too Fenrir - Justin is her lover. I will miss her efficiency, but not her comments. I am sorry for offending you, Methuselah, I did not know the situation. Or that the Lady was QUITE this mad. You dont think I'll win? Sadly... I KNOW you'll win. And that scares me, childe. You havent called me that for the longest time... Let's get you out of those chains... although you ARE a traitor. Dont trouble yourself.
*She threw her hand out to the side, smiling as Ansuz came to her call, and with it, immunity to Haemox. The lines f black in her skin vanished and she simply pulled the metal of fherself, grinning at Raoul's gaping expression*
Lets go deal with Justin and let Fenrir know peace.

Fenrir had followed, though remained at the exit, not completely passing the threshhold into the graveyard. Folding his arms over his chest, the Devil watched Raoul with dangerous eyes as the pair discussed their respective standings and positions.
As Raoul offered an apology for offending him, Fenrir struggled to offer little more than a spitful lip furl and snarl, but did nod. Speaking would have risked starting this whole mess anew.
"Another?... I was prepared to fight through Raoul to get him, another subordinate is fine."
And with that, Fenrir would turn his back on the pair and proceed back into the chamber, finding one of the Syn chairs to lean back against. Ironically, Corbin's.

*Stalking in after him, Roan went to the same chain and slammed Ansuz THROUGH the seat, then sat on her own chair next to it.*
Bring him in Raoul.
*The General nodded and went to the door, calling Justin in, with Jane at his side, as always. Roan watched him, and indeed.... fear. Fear blossomed over the man's face as he entered, but whereas normally he'd be quaking back form HER, it was Fenrir he held up his hands in front of, as if warding him off*
Evil! Evil.... no.... VILE creature! Dark evil beast!
*Jane shushed Justin, holding his arm, looking in confusion at the three elders gathered before her*
Whats going on? Step away from him Jane. I have questions and I want HIM to answer, not you.
*Jane obediantly stepped away, but was scratched open as Justin tried to cling to her*
Justin. Do you know who this is? Yes... evil dirty beast! The Lord shuns thee! Justin, this man's brother weilded the greatest amount of 'God's' power I have ever witnessed. Do you remember him? Vile, evil dark thoughts... such darkness... Where did you last see him? Cant say... cant say...
*Roan sighed and looked at Fenrir*
Would you please beat out of him why he did it? He doesnt seem to want to talk to me. EVIL wench! Vile harlot! Devil's consort! You and all your brood! A mark upon this pure earth! The Lord shall take you all for your wicked ways! I never approved! Evil, dark, tricksy FIENDS! ...in your own time Fenrir. Im not in a hurry.

Fenrir had managed to contain himself, even as Justin was ushered in, though the Berserkergang did rise up most notably around him as that fearsome cardinal red, just the same as his tail. Constant snarling, until Roan asked for him to start beating on the Cainite.
Leaning forward off the support of the chair, Fenrir turned his full body on the murderous little lunatic preacher, and started a slow stalk forwards.
"You're going to answer, monster. You're going to tell me, why you did it. Why you killed them."
With the GunBlade in his right hand, tip of the blade scraping across the floor behind him, the Gael's left hand flicked up to his side, and with a flick of the wrist his fingers snapped. A single glyph, one already very close to the Cainite raced across the floor to sit behind him, before fire bloomed out of it in a vertical explosion. Not enough to do serious damage, maybe some nasty burns, but the intent was to shock the Cainite, and force him staggering forward, towards the Devil.
Fenrir would then flick his hand and wrist stright up, one of the glyphs rotating around him still racing forward to activate, exploding into an ice formation that would incase Justin's lower body as Fenrir skipped forward, bringing a fearsome left jab into Justin's torso with enough force to fracture the sternum.
"ANSWER!"

*The tricks worked - Justin shrieked and leapt away from the fire, only to meet ice instead. He cowered. Properly cowered and whimpered, for a full minute, before his personality seemed to suddenly shift and eyes FILLED with hatred looked up at Fenrir. True Faith washed out of him like a plague, causing Raoul to yelp and move back, burns showing on his arms, and Jane reacted likewise. Roan just sat there, skin charring slowly at the edges, unphased*
You foul creatures... they sent me to Ireland. TO sniff out the evil ones, to find the boggles and bogarts, the wicked and the dark. I found them. Everywhere I looked I found them. That which slept, that which walked as if it were HUMAN... as if it were NORMAL... as if it were NATURAL. And all fighting each other. Such evil evil men. I saw what would happen. I saw it! ME! The Lord chose ME to know! And everywhere I looked, that CURSED badge, that logo. EVIL! Darkness and horror. Tainting their loved ones, their CHILDREN. Fighting animals and drinking and smoking and fornicating and plotting the gravest sins!
*Justin spat at Fenrir, nursing his ribs*
I spared them your SIN! The Lord came to me and told me what I must do. I am only sorry I didnt get you TOO. But you were away killing, werent you? I remember. I could SMELL it on you, and that logo! Worn with PRIDE! SINNER! HEATHEN! WRETCH!
My master would not have mourned your loss and I was rewarded, oh I was rewarded....
When was this?! 1920-ish. But.. he worked for ME then... I gave NO such order... Interesting...

Left hand clutching the collar of Justin's shirt Fenrir did not shrivel away from the light, though it did singe at his hide so. He didn't even notice the seering pain, as his hand tightened around the material in his grip, before the hand snapped loose of the shirt and in the same moment, around the Cainite's throat, the pressure slowly increasing, as the Gael's might grew.
"Unnatural............ YOU'RE the unnatural thing, monster! Human?! I'm more man than you'll have EVER been, you cowardly little MAGGOT!"
Fenrir roared at the Cainite, his nose brushing against Justin's own in the close proximity of the verbal assault, eyes glowing brighter as did the blood red markings.
Lifting the GunBlade from the floor, he would then run the large steel form through the ice, and then Justin's stomach to then penetrate his back, and the ice further, before letting go of the blade, trusting in the ice to keep his prey's blood loss to an absolute minimum.
"Why not me?... You wanted to spare them MY sins?! You should have let them BE, and hunted me DOWN. COWARDLY LITTLE CREATURE!"
Right hand flying across to the IRA patch on his left sleeve, Fenrir would rip it out of the stitching and rub it in Justin's face forcefully enough to break his nose.
"Without them, i'm a sinner, i'm a monster. I was a man. YOU made me into the monster, jackal."
Letting go of the Cainite's throat, Fenrir would turn his back on him, and take a few steps away, head hung as his arms trembled.
"Are you done with him, Roan?"

LEAVE HIM ALONE!
*Jane flew at Fenrir, wrapped in a coat of fortitude, her claws reaching for his eyes and Justin simply screamed in agony at the blade throughhis body. Roan snorted, and leant on her arm, watching idly... until a tendril of shadow rocketed out of Fenrir's own shadow to pierce his stomach as Fenrir had pierced Justin*
.... THATS interesting... What the HELL is going on? None of my people save Sebastian can do that... Reckon its Justin, or Jane? It cant be Justin... his nature wont allow it... You called ME traitor, Raoul... I think you just found a TRUE one...
*She watched carefully, then nodded*
Fenrir. Justin is your to do as you please with... Jane has more ot tell us though. Try not to kill her until she tells us who she is serving.
