Something smelled nice... Was it springtime already?... even down in the dark he could always smell those floors.... moon flowers.... somehow they were comforting to him. He remembered once asking his brother about them.... Wasn't this what he had done in exchange?.... I'zale had given him one of those flowers... not only that he had enchanted it so that it wouldn't wilt... that had been nice... in exchange what had he receieved?..... oh yes that was right.... the black flames...
The black runes on the Lycan's right hand flared briefly before bursting into black flames. His flesh sizzled and his tendons tightened pulling his fingers into a burning claw not emitting heat or cold but... nothing... instead it seemed like it was sucking things in... heat, cold, light, darkness... it was not something good...

When Kil'in showed up, I was hoping that she would be able to help somehow. If he calmed down for anyone, it would be for her. But it didn't seem to work.
Seeing the markings on his arm turn into flames, I was so surprised that I almost let go of him. This is not good. "Um, Kil'in....do you know whats going on here? This is kinda scary."

"No, Ki'lin, stay as far back as you can but KEEP talking to him, you calmed him for a minute there, tell him he'll be OK!" Yelled Dusk as he clung tight to the writhing lycan, Blinking in shock at the black fire crawling up the burnt arm.
"Myyth, if you could please hurry, I don't know how long we can keep him down..."

Myyth nodded and darted ver to stand next to Dusk. She'd already primed the needle and now just sank it into the mass that was Soulvar's upper arm. Injecting it, she went as quickly as she thought was safe. "If this works, I'm not going to sedate him.....he'll heal faster awake..." Assuming a muscle relaxant would keep him down, she though. With Jaden or whomever this was right now, she doubted it.

I stared down at the black fire as it started up my arms. Looking over to Dusk, I saw the same thing happening to him. "Dusk, um...whats going on here? This doesn't look like its a good thing. Definately doesn't look like that," I said, slightly freaked out. Black fire creeping up your arm does seem to do that to you. I still hung on, though, because I knew he would create havok if he got free.

((It's not really an auto-hit because you started it and I never actually said that the flames spread everywhere, just my hand.))
His solid red eyes opened and saw the different things that made him a perfect killer. The flames were blocking the complete souls of every living thing touched by them. Snarling he twitched his burning claw of a hand down and tore chunks from the souls of those it touched and pulled the energy into his body. The process would have felt extremly painful due to the fact that now wounds were present to allow the parts of the soul to leave. The wolfs wounds began to heal much faster allowing him to struggle harder as it delayed the muscle relaxant.

Ki'lin backed away slowly but stood just out of reach, speaking softly to Jaden, "Jaden, come back to me. I still need you. Don't go back to the dark. Stay with me."
She watched with wide eyes as the runes spread across his hands, turning her head slightly to look at Silver, "the markings are a safety feature, if he is injured enough, the markings will feed off of energy from any living thing that is present. Don't let him hurt you. Any wounds mean energy is expelled easier, he will feed at the wounds until they tear you apart."
She glanced back at Jaden and tried speaking softer, while blowing her breath into his face, "Jaden, listen to me... your going to be fine, you don't need to feed off their souls. Stay with me, Jaden, you promised you would stay with me."

I looked over at Kil'in, wide eyed. "What?! Souls!!!?" Seeing Jaden's arm moving and curving towards me, I was only able to say one thing. "Oh...crap." He twitched his arm, hurling it into my side. At this point, unable to keep my grip, I was knocked back by the blow. I felt a burning pain in my side, much worse than it should have been. I was knocked back about five feet and fell flat on my back. Groaning, I tried to move, but I had no energy in my body. What the? As I lay there, struggling to get up, I felt myself getting weaker and weaker. Finally,. I just collapsed, unable to move. I could feel burning along my arms as it moved up my body, but there was no fire. The flames had dissapeared the moment I had let go of him, but I still felt it. The pain grew stonger and stronger, reaching heights that I had never thought possible. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't, the pain constricting my vocal chords.

He ripped backwards at the Silver and found his feet... before the muscle relaxant kicked in. The large wounded lycan sank to the ground smashing his claw-like burning hand deep into the floor. He felt tighed. He wanted it to stop... he struggled to get up but his healling wasn't enough to fully counter the drug fast enough.

Through the pain, I felt Jaden grab my legs. The pain seemed to intesify, if that was at all possibly, though this enabled me to find my voice. "Get off of me!" I said, unable to bear the pain. I tried once again to move, but I still could not, the pain too much. I started to twitch from the pain going through my body, my mind not able to keep up with the pain going through it. Every pain receptor on my body was going off at full volume, more than anyone could bear.

Ki'lin moved next to Silver in a swirl of speed, she sat next to him and closed her eyes as she touched him with her hands, she pushed her energy into him willing him to heal the wounds. She pressed her hands harder to his shoulder willing Jaden's energy from Silver.

The pain went away, degrees by degees. My body was still slightly twitching from the pain it had endured. I slowly opened my eyes. From what I could see, Jaden seemed to be going out of the fight and I also saw Kil'in healing me. "Thank you, I was going to die there," I whispered, my voice raw from trying to scream earlier. "So....did it work....is he out?" My vision had started to go fuzzy as my body tried to fix itself.

Holding Jaden tightly around the arms, he kept any other fights impossible, using all the strength he had to keep the Lycan at bay. He knew the injuries would soon best his friend into seccumbing to the relaxant but even so he was still putting up a good struggle. But he was getting tired to, he had at least a few more minutes of grip in him before he would seccumb to his own injuries as well.
"How.... Long is this going... to keep up.... Jaden... hear me... You're.... not your brother..."

The black flames continued to burn around the Lycans hand even when embedded deep in the floor, crackling even with the other things happening around them...
Brother... What was that about?...... brother and sister?...... did he?........
He was tied down as usual for treatments. His brother was the one holding his head wasn't it?.....
Brother.... why does father hate me?.....
Those cold blue eyes gazed at him... they almost glowed.....
"Why would you say such a foolish thing?....
The young boy was straped down and looked to his bare chest to see the markings.... what did they do?..... they hurt so much....
Then why did he do this to me?......
he felt his hair being stroked......
Our father was scared of you is all....
...the puppy didn't understand.... he needed to know more....
Why?...
Because you are dangerous.......
I'm not.....
You are.... Two months after your birth you went insane and bit off one of fathers fingers.... he beat you but you wouldn't stay down and it frightend him..... Count your blessings brother.... I didn't want to see my own brother dead so I had them put that seal on you....
he touched it and the pain seemed to ease slightly....
I'm sorry for that but it was the only thing I could find........
The Lycan stopped moving, submitting to the relaxant. His entire weight hit the ground as he stared blankly at the wall. Even the black flames burned out from the now twisted and sad claw of what once was a hand....

Panting, Dusk gave a sigh of relief as he finally felt the heavy wieght of the lycan go down, letting his hold on him go and rolling onto his back, closing his eyes and groaning.
"Finally... " He winced as he moved slowly to look at the others with weak eyes. He spoke in barely a whisper. "He's out... Myyth, I'd fix him up while he's like that if you can. Silver, good work, but don't question me again, and Ki... thank you, I love you... now, if you all don't mind, I need some rest..." And with little more than a groan, he slid into a deep, dark slumber.
