Laxus is odd to play now...
On one hand, he's being relaxed, which is simple enough, and fairly easy.
But on the other, he's starting to kinda become plot-y ish, which is fun, but it is somewhat difficult.

Sword Art Online...
One of the BEST anime I've ever seen. Yeah, it is that good. Easily going to show it to my kids if they're into anime and manga.

Oh, It has sad parts. I was in tears several times. But those parts only make you appreciate the good parts when they come. Anger, Sadness, Happiness. All of those are tightly knit together in this anime, and masterfully done if I do say so myself.
But if you're a man of action, I'd recommend watching the last five episodes in rapid succession. I had about 30 minutes between episodes, and it nearly drove me to finding out who made the series to hurt them for making the show so masterfully suspenseful. I've only felt this feeling from a single other Anime, and that was Drrr! and that one had previously been my all time favorite.
I'd give a brief dissertation on the ups and downs of the show, but I couldn't bring myself to do such a thing as ruin the experience. All I can say, is that if you're like me and you attach to characters easily... get ready for the emotional ride of your life. At one moment, you'll soar into the sky, up above everything the world has to offer, and the next you'll plummet to the ground, past the earthen surface and straight into the bowels of the blue eyed demon... Then resurface, soaring back up into the sky! Ah, and the ending... It leaves so many questions, but it leaves your heart sitting at rest, not exuberant, not depressed, but content. It isn't one of the ones that leaves you in tears, or that makes you wish that the makers would be burned, or maimed. It just makes you... Happy. sweatdrop I don't know of any other way to explain it, other than it makes you happy.

Okay, that one was pretty impressive. (Just finished watching the entire series... Bit short...) Then again I've always loved that genre. Know any other good ones of that style? VRMMO that is? I know of Yureka and 1/2 Prince. .Hack too, though I never really got far into that one.
I disagree on the "Authors should be maimed" bit though. Any good story should never have to end, so ending it, even on a high note, is wrong and should be punished.

No good story should be ended? While I love the "what happens next" feeling when reading a book or watching a T.V. show as much as anyone, would you really be satisfied with A Game of Thrones, The Wheel of Time, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, The Legend of Drizzt, Portal, Assassin's Creed, and other such series never having a legitimate ending? Would things like Monk, Harry Potter, Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, The Lord of the Rings, Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z, or any other such story be as amazing if an ending was not reached?
(I sense a new thread in the debate forum)

I've actually never seen most of those things... But the few I recognized and have seen/played, I would want to continue. The day I see Portal 3 available I will be a happy man. I honestly can't imagine an ending to that series that would be better than another sequel could be. Same with most I like. Some would obviously need to change things a lot. get a new protagonist or whatever, alternate viewpoints, new timeline, those sorts of things, but unless they royally screw it up, it's preferable to keep something good going as long as possible.
Of course, sometimes they run out of ideas and end up just kicking the dead dog, and it gets ridiculous, but that's not the point.

@ Hinote Nah, I don't know of that many others. If you want to give it a try, Dragon Drive uses the VRMMO aspect, as well as the connected to another world aspect. The .Hack legend of the twilight bracelet is better than the actual .hack series. Much more upbeat, and not as oppressive an atmosphere. Other than those, I can't really think of any.
No, if Asuna wouldn't have been saved, and Suguo got her, then I'd have no problem with maiming the people responsible for such a terrible ending. That single ending possibility filled me with so much dread. I thought it was going to be like the anime where the tsundere chick kills the protagonist, and then rips open the stomach of the other girl who claimed ot be pregnant with the protagonist's child. I mean, gulty pleasure in such an ending would be amazing, but SAO could NOT have ended like that... It would have been far too soul shattering.
@ Greg You do not request that Dragon Ball Z ends. That Anime is one of my favorites from when I was little. At least they knew how to stretch out a fight without it being retarded. I mean Bleach had an okay run with stretching combat, but they just... It was literally Beat the crap out of the main character, inner thoughts, then main character kicks arse. DBZ had Goku having the upper hand most of the time, and if not, he said " Screw you guys... SPIRIT BOMB! " I mean there was ALWAYS a clear trump card. It wasn't some sort of Oh, I'm going to magically gain another ability, it was an actual fight.
Also, Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy could have been a Saga. I'd have liked to see another minor Baddie to the Batman series getting a bit of recognition. Maybe Poison Ivy? Oh, or Dr. Freeze. ( I know we have Arnold, but he could use a reboot. Dr. Freeze isn't that well characterized in his movie appearance. ) Edward Nigma would have been fun to. ( I'm totally Biased on that front, The Riddler is by far the greatest Batman baddie ever to grace the series with his presence. )
And, since I'm not satisfied with Chell going to the surface, Portal was not ended satisfactorily.

Gabe Newell doesn't believe in the number 3

Then can we have number 5? It is sooo epic that it just skips 3 and 4.
If you didn't catch it, it is a Family Guy reference.

I'm not requesting anything. Dragon Ball DID end. And unless you acknowledge GT, I thought the ending was pretty good, too.
The Riddler was the expected choice for the third movie, but Christopher Nolan is the one who wanted to include Bane. And while it may not be a saga, there may be another movie for Robin (though I hope he uses the Nightwing persona). Christian Bale agreed to be Batman as long as there wasn't a robin, so
they only called Joseph Gordon-Levitt "Robin" at the end of The Dark Knight Rises, and showed him finding the batcave as a hint of a possible Robin movie.
If you haven't seen The Dark Knight Rises, don't read that spoiler. Otherwise, I won't take responsibility for you ruining the movie for yourself.
As for another villain, the choice is too obvious: Penguin.

@ Hado xD
@ Greg Nope. It is just placed on Hiatus, not over. >.> Also, GT should have never happened. I barely watched it, so it was really odd, and I just didn't like it.
Yeah, and I like that they included Bane, but I mean the Riddler is just a necessary evil to any batman series. Also, I didn't realize Bale was that conceited, but it doesn't surprise me.
Also, anyone responding in the thread before me could read it due ot it being shown. So for those of you who don't want to read it... You're welcome.
Oh, the Penguin could easily be manipulated by the Riddler. I'd say have a movie where the Penguin is the forefront, and then at the end of the movie, have him confront the Riddler. It would be amazingly well done if done correctly.
