(Hello everyone, does anyone mind the purple haired one join in!?)

Keno walked in calmly, unaffected by the bitter winds. His steps made their familiar echo against the hard surface of the bar floor. He purred a bit under the touch of her finger through his hair. He was almost sure no one had ever really done anything like that before.

"Where was I? Hmm...I was at a funeral I guess you could say. On the way back I happened to get a nice haircut and some new eyes. The old ones were shrouded from the greater truths of this world." Even as he spoke with such a light and festive air, it could be seen. A slight glimpse of nostalgia, a hidden unexplained pain that he had only recently recovered from.

"Sorry to be gone so long. It was essential that everything go off without a hitch. Thus, I stayed with him all the way through." He kept silent about the remark about Deity. The matter would be something he couldn't really help with, seeing as he wasn't around in the first place. Further, Jade's affairs were her own. User would have to respect them, or so he thought anyway.

User grinned, "I suppose that after years of waiting, I could wait a few minutes more."

He listened to Jade talk about Deity and had he been any lesser of a man, he wouldn't have been able to pick up on her... distress. However, he was able to pick up on it easily. However, he would put it off for now. She quite obviously didn't want to talk about it with them at the moment. He walked in, following the human.

"Yes KenoTao... you have gotten a great deal... uglier," User said with a snort. User had never cut his hair or changed it. All true blood Saiya-jins generally keep their hair style the same from birth to death. It was an odd trait to say the least.

(Well I don't think Unks would want to miss the KenoTao homecoming. I'll post in a bit)

Raziel of the Book

PostPosted: Tue Dec 05, 2006 8:31 pm

A warm wind picks up within the club and a sudden flash of light accompanies a boom that can be felt more than heard. When the light dissipates Raziel is there, still to this day wearing the form of the dead Gabriel Hammet. To those that knew Gabriel in his life the differences stood out like a sore thumb. Gabe was like his father; warm and overly friendly and with a predisposition for alcohol and gambling....Raziel was more quiet and muttering to himself often as if trying to puzzle out a great mystery. Raziel, with his book still floating a foot in front of him as he reads it, absently walks over to a nearby stool and after taking a seat he waves his hand forming a rune in the air. The rune causes a nearby mug to float itself over to the tap of Guiness and then to him where it sets itself down.

::Unks was sitting on he and Epithany's bed with a book open and his eyes darting across the page quickly. It had been a long while since he got to lay back and really sink into a book. As he reached the end of the chapter he put his bookmark in and stood up slowly.

After he stood be laid the book down on his bedside table and stretched. He was wearing a grey button down shirt and a pair of sweatpants. No need to be fancy when relaxing in your room. He felt movement down in the main area of the club.

Recognizing User and Jade his two fellow saiya-jins he also felt one he hasn't felt in a long time. . .KenoTao's. He had to clear his head slightly and really focus on it, it was infact Keno's. He placed his middle and his index fingers on his forhead and vanished from his room into the bar area.

His eyes looked and then he saw the others. He moved slowly over to them and cleared his throat softly. He looked at Keno with a slight smile::

"Keno. .It is good to see you. Are you staying long?"

((Holy Snap! How long has it been since we had so many RP at once?! xD It's been a while CO, hope you're up to it!! x3 Though I shouldn't be up too late folks...> >))

Jade raised an eyebrow at Keno and started scratching at his head more than just running her fingers through his hair, laughing slightly.

"Uh huh...in Keno language, that means you've got a long story about everything that needs to wait to be told.....am I right...?"

She stopped scratching and reached out to hug him again.

"Next time....send a letter or something....ok?"

Jade let him go again, and glanced at her open drawing again before closing it up and letting her tail wrap around to hold it and free her hands. She glanced at User and smirked a little. She had changed her hair quite dramatically from what she was born with. Her hair had once been down to her lower back, but now it was as short as User's, and just as spikey as Keno's.

Her eyes darted around as both Gabe- no....Raziel....and Unks made their appearences. Raziel seemed to not notice them as he sat at a table near where she had started the night. Jade smiled slightly as Unks approached, nodding in greeting in his direction. With so many here now, she didn't want to say anything about Deity's memory loss, lest something got stirred up....

After a few moments and a fig sips of the brew the archangel sighed and closed the book. Immediately upon its closing it dissapeared in a flash of light equal to the one that Raziel had appeared in a few moments ago. Upon seeing this he sighed again.
"Hmph. The damnable book gets to go back but not I. What in the nine circles of hell did you go Gabriel? What kind of deal did you make to keep me here after the demon had left?"
The archangel scratched his hairless chin for a moment before shaking his head and grabbing the mug. He takes another sip before turning around in his stool and walking towards the throng of others.

"Yeah well you seem to be about as weak as ever. What have you been on vacation for the past few months?" Keno intentionally aimed at a soft spot to hopefully make the monkey boy more civil in light of things. He wasn't in the mood for matching wits, but if he had too...

Besides it wasn't as if the monkey and he wouldn't be handling their own problems soon enough. It would just take a bit more time. He had other things to take care of before it came to that. But those thoughts needed to be put in the back for now. He apparently had company to entertain. "I can't say whether or not I'm staying long or not, Unks," he answered with a charismatic grin, nodding in salutations to the strange color haired Saiya-jin.

"If I remember correctly, I did send a letter," he said jokingly. He held Jade in his arms, hugging her like he had only ever hugged one other person ever before in his life. She felt warm, comforting, his heart feeling lighter than it had in a long while. He did indeed have a story to tell. One hell of a story for some, not so interesting for others.

The man at the bar, he was sure he hadn't met before. He was glad though to be in the presence of so many people after previously only having dealt with one.

"Anyway, tonight is supposed to be about things getting back to normal I hope." Although I suppose we should first redefine normal "So who has a suggestion for celebration?"

Balance

There is balance in all things. For light there is dark. For hot there is cold. For good there is evil. Chaos finds its mate in order, man in woman, left in right, up in down. Yin and Yang. When one finds their own balance in the universe, they are considered to be complete. What then, is a man that has found balance and rejected it in favor of a greater glory?

A shell. A husk. Nothing.

Even as the events unfolded within Orion the form of Tacitus was hiding away atop the arena. It wasn't the most ordinary place to be, but wasn't nearly as cliche as standing atop the roof of the tower itself. The chill did not seem to settle in on his bones as he stood in perfect balance, one leg raised such that his boot was resting 'pon the side of the knee of his other leg. Each arm was out to either side, hanging in the air with a mace held in each hand. His head was turned down with chin resting upon his chest, his slow breathing not even creating a cloud of condensed moisture in the air.

He had never doubted his choice, for he had long accepted that he had merely become an extension of a greater being. He was not meant to obtain balance for he was above good and evil, beyond law and chaos, and had no need for hate... or love. He was an Ancient, a Guardian, a Protector, not a friend or lover to anyone. He could feel the gathering of life, the pulse of emotion, the swell of energy, but his form did not move in the slightest. Jordan was meant to live on as the Tacitus that was more than a shell, to seek out that balance. The man on the roof f the arena was nothing but the end result of a God realizing his mortal life had ended.

No angst. No emotional dribble. No regrets. Just a stoic old man resigned to his duties of realital preservation. He rather liked the times when his memories caught up to him, he could go insane and be sociable again for a few months if he prolonged it enough and was able to hide from Genesis. It was one of those times in the grand scheme of eternity that he had gone shopping and gotten his new trenchcoat.

God he hated memories, no wonder he had wanted to forget in the first place.

::The heavy buzz of the elevator sounds throughout the main room as the chamber travels down the central elevator shaft. It remains for a few seconds before silencing, the doors sliding up as usual. From within the pod emerges the ancient Knight himself, the tall wolf demon hunched down a little as he drops his heavy feet onto the wooden floors. He again wears different attire, brown jeans drooping down over worn out black shoes; his Tetsudama still rests at his right side. Sir Aaron also wears a thick black hoodie, hood down, to keep warm - he may be from a relatively colder planet than Earth, but he lived in a climate with temperatures that were at least above -10 degrees Fahrenheit...by Earth measurements, anyway..

Stuffing his large hands into the baggy front pocket of his thick shirt, he steps away from the elevator tower so that the doors will close, lifting his head to see the gathering by the entrance. Though he already knew Jade was around, the presence of the others wasn't expected. He was curious as to when KenoTao would finally reveal himself to the others, though. Rather than speak, as though someone may have missed his looming 10'10" figure, he decides to just make his way over and greet them normally. Calling out from meters away can be awkward at times.::

"Well Keno all I know is it is good to have you back. This is as you and we all know your home."

::Unks smiled at Keno and looked at Jade in his arms. He kept his smile on his face as he looked at User and the other guy. He hasn't met this new person either, and what a better time then now with the return of and old friend and meeting hopefully a new one.

Unks' steps were soft as he hopped the bar and got glasses down to make everyone drinks. He looked at Keno when he said how to celebrate::

"I say a welcoming home toast for Keno is in order."

User grunted, "I do not 'celebrate'."

The Saiya-jin ignored the jab at User's 'suggested' weakness. Even without KenoTao around to keep User sharp - he managed. Days and nights, he trained to be ready for the eventual return of the human.

At some point, he was going to kill him. Maybe not today, but soon - they would have their battle. Their last battle.

((wow, there is a large thing of ppl here now...))
The archangel blinked at Unks before settling himself into thought for a moment, his eyes seeming to glaze over. After a moment he snapped out of it and gave the others a small smile before raising what was left of his beer and speaking in an unintelligable tongue.

Keno was quite surprised to note the presence of Sir Aaron Wesley, a man who had instantly gained his respect, merely for existing in this realm. He nodded warmly to the likely father-in-law, if ever there would be one, of his dear sister. Unks' suggestion for a round of shots sounded intriguing, even though Keno himself wasn't a fan of drinks. In the spirit of the event though, he'd drink everyone under the table if he had to. Even the anti-social Prince of Saiya-jins would find a reason to drink, more than likely from Jade's persuasion than Keno's.

The winged man seemed to be speaking a foreign language. He wasn't sure what the man said or if he even wanted anyone to inquire, he merely gazed at him inquisitively. That way, if he looked his way, the silent stranger could take the cue and do with it what he would.
