'Us! Like-.. Like this!' he was practically screaming in his head. But seeing Aurora so pitiful, not that he would ever call him that to his face, Nic couldn't bring himself to part with him so soon. He concluded with himself that it was okay for tonight at least. At least it wasn't that perverted djinn the prince chose to cling to. Who knows what could have happened to the chilled royal if that were the case.
Relenting with a silent sigh, the knight shook his head. "Nothing," he said, finally allowing himself to enjoy the extreme comfort of the prince's bed. (Who cared how girly it was!) "Just get better ok? .. For me?"

The prince nodded slowly, his movements becoming more indistinct. Despite his words, the actions of the day as well as the strain from the magic had taken a toll on the boy's body. Soon, though he tried desperately to remain conscious, he found himself slowly drifting off into sleep -- the first natural sleep in an incredibly long time. Within minutes, Aurora was out like a light, his small frame slowly relaxing into the other's body, his arms loosening though they were still wounds quite securely around the knight.
((Even shorter! 8D;;; Eheh, well, I have to go now so I'd appriciate it if you could do the time skip... sorry... 8D;;;;;; ))

After some time, Nic recognized the slowed breathing of the prince to be a clear sign that he had fallen asleep. Though Aurora had previously said this was something he didn't want, the knight knew it was for the best. For Aurora's sake. So, allowing himself to sink in into the unbelievably soft 'princess' bed, the knight drifted into a sleep of his own, gently embracing the boy as he slept. Only tomorrow morning would reveal Aurora's feelings on their.. position. That particular thought had him wincing in his sleep, but he was getting more and more used to these mood swings. They were just another part of the boy. It wouldn't be much longer until Nic actually figured them to be charming.
-----====Time skip====-----
The scent of something rather sweet reaching his nose was what awoke the knight. He yawned deeply, expecting to wake up stiff on a none-too-comfortable bed. But upon opening his eyes, finding that sweet smell to be Aurora's hair in which his face had nuzzled atop, he remembered just where he had ended up that night. And pleasantly, soreness was one of the last things his body could feel at the moment.
Shifting so he was sitting up on one elbow, noticing with a smile the boy's body still cuddled against him, Nic looked down on Aurora. He wondered if the same 'kiss' rule applied when he went to sleep on his own.. Well, he didn't really want to disturb him from such a good rest with a shake. Either the kiss would wake him up or not bother him at all, and there was only one way to find out. Lowering his head, he lightly brushed his lips against the prince's.

Aurora's sleeping form was quite peaceful -- much more peaceful than his waking self ever was (though there were those seldom moments during which the prince had a certain gentle vulnerability about him). It was the first time in over a year that the prince had any sort of awareness about himself while he slept -- he could feel the warmth of the room, the softness of the bed.... And he had dreamed, too -- nothing too much and nothing that he could remember, but it was the first dream he had had in a long time....
And he slowly became aware that there was something.... he was sleeping... There was something he was unacustomed to, thought he did not know what. He felt something soft press lightly against his lips -- something warm and... and gentle. It was odd -- a carress that Aurora didn't know. Amethyst hues opened slowly, his wakening this time much more gradual than before. Dark eyes blinked slowly, the long, golden lashes glinting slightly like a shimmering veil of sunlight. It was... Nic. He was... bent over him and Aurora had his...
He had his arms wrapped (quite tightly) around the other. Pale cheeks fired up into a bright, heated crimson the moment that thought fully penetrated his mind. Pale arms quickly loosened from around the other, though he couldn't quite pull himself free as he was still a little weak. Nic was fortunate that, for once, Aurora had awoken quite... level-headed. He knew the kiss was only so that he would waken and he knew that it had been he himself, from the depths of cold and weakness, who had moved to embrace the other.
"S-s-s-s-sorry, Nic," the prince stammered, his face a bright patchwork of pink and crimson. There was something... different about him. He hadn't grown angry yet -- which was more than undeniably odd.

Surprised and rather pleased he didn't receive a cruel morning welcome, Nic smiled softly down at the prince. Maybe Aurora was warming up to him even more than he expected. But the knight wasn't about to go and question this blessing. "Good morning, Aurora," he said, his lingering tired state causing his voice to be huskier than usual. "Don't apologize for anything. You needed help and that's what I'm here for, right?"
It seemed the good night's rest made the dark-haired man a bit more lazy than usual. For instead of sitting up or even attempting to move Aurora or himself, Nic simply plopped back down into the pillows. He wasn't ready to abandon its comfort and warmth just yet. Personally, there was no room for embarassment when he felt that relaxed.
"Did you sleep well?" he asked, eyes half-lidded. "Feeling all better?"
((Opportune time for Celestine to pop in. XD))

Sir Jack "The Agile" had already been traveling for four days. He slept by night and ran all day. When he left his kingdom, he had high hopes of rescuing the princess locked high in a tower of Far Far Away. He wanted to save her and start a new life with her, as a prince. However, yesterday when he ran through a small independent village, he heard that she had already been rescued. This, however, did not stop him. He had already ran so far. As far as he was concerned, he was not about to go back home without at least meeting her.
As he ran, the warm morning breeze swept over his body, which was already covered in sweat. He was thankful for the wind, for without it the trip would be unbearable. He continued to run along the beaten path through the grassy plane, taking in the scenery as he went. It was truly a beautiful place. It had beautiful green grass, huge twisting willow trees, and bountiful flowers were scattered here and there. It was at times like these that he almost wished he was a painter, not a knight. Then, he'd be able to capture this marvelous scene and keep it forever.
Within the few more hours, Jack arrived at the Kingdom of Far Far Away. "Finally..." he said, exhausted. He was dehydrated, sweaty, hot, and was feeling weak. Even his remarkable endurance didn't do him justice on that long journey. He began walking lazily around the Kingdom, looking around for the tallest building. After a while, the castle caught his eyes. "That must be it..." he said weakly, his voice was quiet and a bit raspy from a dry throat. He then walked up to the castle and approached the guards. "I seek the princess of this kingdom. I have traveled very far to see her. I have urgent matters to discuss with her." he told them with a quiet and raspy voice from exhaustion and dehydration. He tried to to make it seem like it was important for him to see her.

((My thoughts exactly. xD ))
The prince's face was more than just a little red. Quite obviously, he had no idea how to deal with such a situation -- he didn't really want to yell at Nic as he usually would have because he... he rather liked the man and... well, Nic was nice. And he didn't want to remain in that position (even though it was warm) or... or order Nic because the man was his friend, but he also didn't know how to... ask. Aurora was terrible at asking, though he could manage it for small things (as he had earlier with the servant).
Of course, jusst as the prince had been about to open his mouth, something quite terrible happened: a high-pitched, girlish squeel sounded -- one not of fear, but rather excitement and joy.
"Oh, Rora, lovely, darling!!!" Celestine exclaimed, her pale hands raised to her face, her mouth shaped in an "O" form. "Oh, see, I just knew the two of you were perfect together!!" She seemed really quite overly estatic -- her entire being was almost shining with joy. "And here I was, just coming in to tell you that everything is in order for the wedding -- well, really, this is quite wonderful!!" she exclaimed, beaming at the pair.
Aurora made a noise half between a groan and the beginnings of protesting but his mother cut through him.
"Oh, no, Rora dear, there's no need for excuses! Don't be embarrassed, you two!" She beamed at the pair, bent forward to press a kiss to both of their cheeks, and then scampered off to go inform her husband.
Aurora looked slightly... stunned. "Nic... can we... uhh... run away? Please?"

The sound of a new voice outside, one of obvious exhaustion, caught the djinn's sensitive ears. Sensitive or open from curiousity; May as well have been the same thing. Either way, Remy went to go check it out.
After the several scoldings he had received the previous day, he decided it had been enough once even Nic got to the point of showing anger. Waiting until the pair had fallen asleep, not wanting anything to do with it himself, he went about with exploring the castle. Not to cause trouble or anything of that sort. Why sure, of course he had to pretend to be a ghost when a late night servant made their way by. They had no business scurrying about the corridors so late! And maybe he had drew a mustache and horns on some of the paintings. But some of those nobles looked far too stuck up! A penciled in mustache could lighten up any mood.
But in any case, this genie had not been up to trouble.
And nor was he now. Having his bottom half once more in its transluscent, almost foggy firm, he floated easily through the hallways until coming upon the source of the voice. Peeking around the corner of the door, he spotted the new knight. Surely not from around here, he observed, moving to float up behind the guards, his approach left unheard. That is, until he settled in between the two, arms resting upon their shoulders, 'tail' flicking to and fro not unlike a cat's. "Hey, chums," he said with a toothy grin.

At the sound of the squeal, Nic nearly jumped out of his skin and almost clear off the bed as well. In that split second, Aurora didn't have to worry any longer about having to ask him to move. One leg was hanging off the bed, an arm holding onto a close by nightstand being the only thing that kept him from finding himself on the floor. He was just glad he hadn't been caught without a shirt or something! The sudden arrival of Celestine had his heart racing. How could she honestly catch them like this of all positions!? She just seemed to have the most apt ability to catch them in the worst case scenarios.
With all the blood having left his face, leaving him ghostly pale, he had no room to blush. The second the queen left the room, Nic simply allowed his arm to give out and let his body fall with a thud to the floor. Though it seemed from far away, he still heard the question. It was either that or get married, right? It didn't look as if Celestine could be talked out of this..
"Funny thing.. I was thinking nearly the same thing there for a second," Nic mumbled.

Jack blinked a couple of times. He wasn't sure, but he thought he saw a genie, or something like it in front of him. A pretty handsome one at that. "I must be worse off than I thought..." he thought to himself. He did, however, decide to answer back. He might as well. Just to see what it says. "Hello." he answered in his weak voice. "I'm Sir Jack, 'The Agile'. What is your name?" he asked the genie thing. Before it could answer though, Jack collapsed onto the ground from dehydration, and was temporarily unconscious.

Remy's grin widened at not only the question, but also the knight's given reaction. He just loved surprise. Just as his hand raised to his chest to give what looked like what was going to be a longer-than-necessary introduction.. but that was all cut short with the kngiht's unconsciousness. While the two guards looked rather shocked with the incident, Remy just pouted as if disappointed. "Aw, he looks all tuckered out," he said, looking down at the young man. Just as one of the guards moved to help him, the djinn dove in and picked him up instead.
"Allow me, gents," he said, and without waiting for approval, he whisked right past them into the castle. Looking into several rooms, Remy eventually found an empty guest room. There, he laid the knight on the bed. Taking a second to look his face over, he smirked mischievously, but shook his head as if telling himself 'Not this time'.
Instead, he raised a balled fist over his head. "Wakey, wakey," he murmered before releasing said hand, causing water to spill on the man's face.

Jack was having the most peculiar dream. He dreamed that he was playing chess with a genie, and all the pieces looked like him. Just as he was about to win, he felt a rush of wetness over his face. It was cold to so it came as a bit of a shock. Jack gasped and darted up. He looked around, and the first thing he saw was the handsome genie. "A-am I dead?" he asked, somewhat nervously. He lifted his hands and observed them, then he pinched his own cheek, relieved to feel the pain. "I guess not..."
He then looked around the room some more, and none of it seemed at all familiar to him. "Where am I? Who are you?" he asked the genie thing. This was all very strange to him, like some strange fantasy. His roaming eyes finally met back up with the genie's, and he became fixated on them. They were so beautiful and mesmerizing. Jack's mouth was slightly ajar and he began to blush wildly, just looking into those hypnotizing eyes.

He knew he shouldn't, but of course he couldn't help himself.. "Yeees, you're dead," Remy said in a stereotypical spooky voice, waggling his fingers in the air. "You're in the realm of.. of.... dead people!! Ooooo!" He paused for a moment, hands paused in motion. Ok, so maybe that wasn't so convincing. Dropping his hands heavily by his sides, his shrugged. "Or maybe just in one of the castle's guest rooms.. Same thing."
"Hey, you look pretty warm," the genie said, coming within an inch of the knight's face, eyes narrowed observantly. "Need more water?" And without waiting for consent, he flicked his fingers at Jack's face, sending out flecks of water. "Oh, and I'm Remy, by the way. And might you be, my wayward friend?"

Jack blushed even more as Remy got closer, but his stare was broken once water was flicked in his face. He laughed a little and wiped it off. "What a funny person..." he thought. "Actually, I only came to meet the princess, but I think I've found someone much more interesting." he replied with a smile. "My name is Jack, The Agile." he announced once more. He then held out a cautious hand to shake hands with Remy. Half of the reason for this was to see if Remy was solid, and boy did he hope he was.
