At Aonice's arrival, Jeshia would give her a curt nod and a slight wave. The female seemed very familiar but she must have only met her in passing or at least had only known her briefly. It was a shame to the demi-goddess that small things like a possible friendship were sullied or delayed because of the difference in the way time passes between each different realm. She excused herself from the conversation, seeing that Loki and Aonice were discussing business matters and that the physical features of herself had become a slight distraction to both. Dante's silence perturbed her, but she took it as part of his odd personality.

She took her time to walk along the beach towards a more quiet area. The simple clothing she wore would shift and shimmer, as if liquefying while upon her skin, the blue hues keeping but the final result being a flowing dress that, once it began reaching up past her hips, started to branch off like bolts of lightning, random in order but with a certain natural appeal. The bolts would be thicker at her waist, thinning to nothing at her shoulders several broad and criss-crossing strips covering what needed to be covered. As she walked, her bare feet could be seen like pink mice darting from under her dress before the garment swallowed them in its wake.

She paused when she saw the cat-creature lying on the beach. She was tuned to natures frequency due to the tasks she performed at the planet she was caring for, and she could feel that this creature had survived by nature's grace and blessing. She tucked her dress under her knees as she knelt, placing a hand on the soggy cat-creature's head, feeling life within. She let out a sigh and a smile before poking it in the shoulder with her index finger, telling the creature to wake up. She may have been a demi-goddess, but spending most her life with her mother in the underworld made her a little rough around the edges. Besides, what would one expect when they see a woman three-plus-eighty inches tall who looks like they run triathlons daily?

Being poked by such a large finger caused an intense reaction to surge from the neko's shoulder, through his body, all the way towards his leg which shot out with a donkey's ferocity. Its soggy, drooped down table suddenly became animated and slowly began to bring itself up. It struggled under the weight of water and fur so the highest it could go was barely a quarter of the height it could go. Its furry paws dug into the soft sand underneath, attempting weakly to push itself off the ground. Water had managed to make a nuisance of itself by clogging into a few of his oriphices as he coughed up and spat out the foul, bitter taste. His discomfort was furthered by the drowned silence due to the salty water that had filled his ears. Finally he had managed to push himself only up onto his hands and knees, though wobbling, and began to shake the sand dirtying his greyed mane. The white coat, now grey and disgusting from the sea, he wore around himself clung and molded around his tiny body. A few quick smacks from his sopping wet paw to the side of his face was all necessary to drain the water embedded in his ears.

"Meow?" he mewed as he looked up with half-shut, glazed over eyes to what looked like another giantess, "S...Silver on...giant girl island, myah?"

The goddess could only smile.
"Sure you're on Giant Girl Island."

She had to pause for a moment and think on what he had called himself. Silver was such a unique name, but it seemed to fit him, what with the oddly gray fur. Jeshia eyes the loose strands of her own silver hair and blows them from her face with a puff of breath Reaching down and taking the creature up into her hold, one hand under each arm as she lifts him up to see just what he was.

"You're a unique creature, aren't you? Can you tell me what you are or where you came from?"

Her question would come as she pulled him against her into a cradling hug, resting him against her breasts while she drew a polished ebony comb from some dimention or another. With it, listening for and to his answer when it came, she would run it through his wet fur, small harmless embers licking against the teeth of the long toothed short comb. As the comb contacts hair or fur it instantly dries and helps to style it, a personal artifact of Jeshia's.

Silver only blinked hazily at the gigantic woman as he felt himself effortlessly placed into her care. His tiny body (no taller than Aonice herself) was now submissively her's. Normally he would be energetic and so curious that it would cause the woman to "ohh" and "aww" over him but he was so demolished from his most recent adventure that even his charming cuteness could not take effect.

"Silver is Silver, myah. What else can he be, myah?" Silver followed with a sighing breath after as his composure was still lost to him, "Silver come from Aonice-sama's island, myah. Prr-prrr-prrr-un-un?" He purred attempting to pronounced the "Puru" prefix.

While Silver purred to say the island, he was soon cradled and nestled in the giantess' great bosom. As he still attempted to say the name of "Pururun," his purring sent odd vibrations against the woman's chest. Suddenly, his matted, filthy grey hair felt warmer as a comb passed through each strand of his glorious locks. The heated accessory was so comforting that Silver's heavy eyes closed on him as his face buried into the woman's breasts and slowly drifting away to dreamland. The beautiful silver shine soon returned to the nekoboy's hair.

((And once again, the greeting system for Silver lives on xd ))

Standing with Silver in her arms, an instant favorite of names to Jeshia since her own hair and eyes held the quality of silver satin, and continueing to work his matted and ruined hair through her comb, she would begin to think on what he said, despite the lack of actual thoughtfullness required. When she spoke, she was speaking to herself in a low soft humming whisper.

"It seems you have returned to your home then. That is good. You also know who owns the island. That's good, but, I wonder, does she know you?"

With a smile, she would whisk away across the beach, retracing her steps with the long stride of a woman who stood near seven feet in height could. Name had been matched to face had been matched to memories and suddenly she remembered who the woman was. She hoped that Aonice and Loki would stiil be where she had seen them prior to her excusing herself. Curiosity required that she solve the mystery of the cat-male as soon as possible to satiate her perpetual hunger for a new story of someone's life.

When she was near where she had left Aonice and Loki, she would call out to get their attention first. In her mind, it was more forgivable and easily accepted to inturrupt a conversation from afar than it is to break into a conversation, even during a pause, when standing in close proximity.

"Aonice! Some Silver just washed up on the beach!"

She smiles at her own joke with the play-on words even if it was asinine.

Thats it?

*sighing and shaking its head, Rake moved one arm outwards from itself, light washing over its form*

Alright Void. You can get off me now.

*The black entity which has washed into Rake's skin, opened its eyes on the deities leg, then smmothly floowed off of Rake, as if the god within was shedding a skin like a cicada. Bursting from its protective shell, the god within seemed perfectly unhurt, but the now seperated Void, currently looking like a shiloutte of Rake's body, showed every single blow which had landed*

Whew... that must hurt. Take your pound of flesh my friend and go get yourself patched up.

*Crouching in mid air, Rake flared its wings upwards, barely batting an eye as Void turned, white eyes turning red, and hacked off both of its wings, the shiloutte grabbing the limbs and vanishing to its own realm to recontruct itself.
With blood now pouring down its back, Rake still hung above the ground, the eliptical red rings supporting it as it grinned nastily at Quint, showing off its canines*

That was a fun little excercise, wasnt it? You people really DONT LISTEN. And you dont learn or adapt. Not only did you foolishly keep your stupidity up KNOWING I was cheating, you've even SEEN Void before. Sneaky little devil.. but Im fond of him. Oh and you made one more CRUCIAL error. Care to guess what it is?

*If smug had a picture in the dictionary, right now Rake would be it*

Quint kept her guard while asking her question:

"Mistake? Ha, told you before, I wouldn't make one. In some dimension that I did, what was it?" Quint smirked, keeping her more powerful hand near her chin.

Mandy, meanwhile, shunked the duplicate sword into the ground and leaned onto it, awaiting a better opening and strategy to formulate. "here we go with the talking again" She rolled her onyx eyes, and yet, in the process of rolling, noticed the hefty amount of even more newcomers..

"Yea, seriously." Quint replied, taking a quick glance towards all the recent additions. "There's been a lot of distraction between our duel, huh?"

She laughed a little, still a bit tipsy from her drinking binge with Bleu. Her feet slid back farther, letting the toes relax a bit more without the sandals.

Aonice blinked, "Silver?" She turned towards Jeshia, noticing the familiar boy in her hands.. "Silver!" She gasped, and quickly darted over to Jeshia, wraping her arms around Silver, nuzzling into his cheek, "My gods! Where have you been?! Why'd you run away?!" She asked curiously, her glimmering blue eyes filling Silver's field of view, mainly because Aonice rested her nose on his in the middle of her hug..

And this is what the world has come to since I went away? Sheesh, you kine have SERIOUSLY lost your edge. DONT get arrogant unless you have something to be arrogant about. You have all the brains of a two year old. Even a ten year old playing a game would see how this will work out - especially as several pieces arent obviously in play. But for the sake of your idocy, I'll explain it.

I never intended to duel with you. I have stood here LETTING you do as you wish, letting you try your best shots... because all the whiel you little mosquitos are HERE... MY associate is busy doing the one job that matters to any of us. You played your roles beautifully, I must say... but I admit I was kind of hoping someone would come up with a plot twist. No matter...

*Finally allowing one foot to touch down on the ground, it thrust both hands towards the land beneath it*

Chire!

*A move picked up from one of her Shinigami endowed sons, Rake did not use the move in the conventional way. Instead of a sword scattering into razor petals to chase her foes, the metal of its left arm shattered and vanished into the ground, leaving behind the skeletal mess of bone and tendon it vaguely called its arm.
Deep under teh earth, a rumbling began to build up, heading towards the dormant lava pits beneath the volcano. Smiling benignly, Rake's eyes told no lies as it gloated to itself*

The demigoddess removed her hands from the neko, letting Aonice take the boy's weight into her own hands since she seemed genuinely worried and it would be rude to keep him from her.

"Miss Aonice, he fell asleep on my way up here. I think he's rather tired, especially since he seemed to be half-dead when I found him. It was by the grace of nature that he's alive. Still I think you should save your questions for when he's fully rested and back to his normal self, whatever that may be like."

She spoke softly to Aonice, a smile playing across her face at the antics that she was displaying regarding the cat-child's apparent disappearance. She didn't know the whole story but she made a not to ask about it later at a more opportune time.

Once Rake's hands hit the sand underneath Quint and the daemon, her wings quickly morphed into a small jet pack, thrusting her into the air. Now she decided to laugh, mainly at herself for being so jumpy. Her bats chided her.

"What happened to 'Never running away'?"

Quint's laughs didn't last long when the tremors hit. Looking down, she could see the sand raise from the attack, watching the stream head directly towards the volcano. The 'gears' began to turn, and she wondered just why exactly she hadn't though about the situation as a whole, instead of just 'KILLKILLRakeDEAD'. Too late did she understand that anger almost never begets solution, a failed lesson that could have her lose a lot more than a quiz.

Lost in thought and action, Quint stared at Rake blankly, her head drooping somewhat.

"So, how long do we have until we're sunk?" She inquired with a small hint of defeat in her voice, only asking to see if it would humor Quint with an answer.

"Aonice-sama, myah!"

Silver gleefully glomped the kunoichi, knocking the two to the ground with the nekoboy straddling Aonice from atop. His arms curled beneath her curves and held himself tightly against her. He tearfully rubbed his cheek against her's, entwining his shimmering silver hair with her jet black, encompassing locks. He was home once again after such a trial. But the same question Aonice asked him resonated within his clunky brain. Where did he actually go?

"Silver didn't leave, myah," he said as he pressed away and propped himself on his paws as he looked over Aonice, "Silver woke up in the big, blue, salty water, myah. Then he was saved by Giant Girl-chan over there, myah." He pointed towards the towering, buxom amazon who brought him to his "family."

Well now, lets see.... the 'petals' this time are made of Celestian steel, the substrate is about ten times weaker even when we hit bedrock, each one is carrying untold voltage with it, both positive and negative polarities...

*It held a bone finger to its lips and seemed to consider*

Oh... about thirty minutes? Unless you'd like me to stop of course....

*It grinned wickedly*
