Bunnies win by a small amount, but I would still prefer an adorable kitten. Ooh, or maybe a duck chick! I like ducks! I feel like they're my spirit animal or something. Yeah, definitely ducks.

I spent all Easter and the followig days in the Pokémon guild I'm in, so I just now got to this thread. Sorry about that. Didn't mean to be rude or anything. Just had so many Pokémon for my character to meet that my time was taken. @_@ You know how hard it is to introduce Xerneas when you haven't played X to know anything about it? Does it talk? What are it's moves? Does it wander the world or stay within Kalos? So. Much. Research.
Anyway, since your eggs aren't special anymore, I guess there's no point in accepting it now. As for your bunny or chick quiz, I'll have to say neither. Not particularily fond of chicks and have sad memories of bunnies. FLUFFY!!!! T^T

No, they didn't. It was just their standard invitation. No reason whatsoever. They didn't even bother to change the cause of why I quit.
This is going to sound very selfish of me, and it is, but it's the only way I can participate in certain role plays. I don't know why.
It's a Pokémon role play guild. The guild looked fun, even though it was undergoing reconstruction. But, then I saw the "get your starter" system. Instead of making it optional, they made it mandatory. I quit because I wasn't going to generate a number to see which starter my character would have when I only ever role play with Charmander as my character's starter. It might be because I only use one character in Pokémon role plays now that I think about it, but I'm very picky about the starter he gets. I explained that I'm stubborn about it and I shouldn't be forced to roll for a starter when I know exactly which one I want, then quit.
It's a childish thing, and as I said, it's selfish. But, since I personally don't like Pokémon role plays, I think it's a fair attitude. I adore the games, of course.

Yes, they're meant to be enjoyable. At least I'm not the only one who thinks my reasons are fair....For lack of a better word.

Oh lordy. If the ability transferred to real life, I believe turning someone into a rabbit would be far from harmless. rofl
Last I remember reading, it's like rabbits are practically aware they're prey animals, thus they are nervous little things just about all the time. If turning into a rabbit means they'll become stricken with all the instincts and mentality, the person would be overwhelmed. If not, and the person keep their human consciousness, they're still made aware they've been reduced to a pretty vulnerable state, which is frightening in itself.
Either way, I think it's highly likely the victim would come out of that with some trauma. Unless they're fanatical about rabbits...but then again, there's still the awareness of being highly vulnerable...

...Would you go so far as to say they'd be useless on werewolves as well? surprised
I mean...technically, they change form...but they only change into one other form, so I don't think they'd count as real shapeshifters...

They do; Hengeyokai too, basicly anything that has an inate shapshifting ability is counted as a shapeshifter...unless they just have the ability to inately cast a spell that fufills said function [As for why that is; well you have to know that a spell is just a formula that converts magical energy into a certain form with a certain function, which is why Burning Hands and Fireball are different spells, even though they are both fairly simple fire energy construts the formula used to shape them are vastly different from each other]

Tingly? I guess I was messing around with the Sorcerer's Ring, but... Oh. *Evil leaves the room. A hulking wereduck wearing fluffy pink bunny ears and slippers busts through the nearby wall* Did somebunny say bunnies? Because I'm totally going to be a duck instead like I was sayin'. As they say, "I reject your shapeshifting and substitute my own." We ducks are chill like that. None of that prey instinct, no sir. Just pure chilliness.
Ah, this reminds me of my old World of Darkness character: Benedict the Wereduck, PI. Semi-noir shapeshifters. Good times. ...It wasn't a very serious game.
Anyway, as for shapeshifting spells, that reminds me of a certain brand of werewolfism in the Dresden Files. In that universe, "werewolves" are pretty much just people who know one spell: the wolf-shapeshifting one. Is that the sort of thing that you guys are talking about?
