"It's a possibility," Guardromon conceded grudgingly, "but on the flip side, it means he'll be able to heal Digimon that no one else would be able to, make modifications or repairs that only he can make, et cetera."
FanBeemon, meanwhile, had perked up at the info about the Gloves and turned to Jimmy, opening his mouth...
"No, FanBeemon, I will not modify your body so that Guardromon will drool over it," Jimmy informed his perverted partner dryly.
FanBeemon snapped his mouth shut and sulked.

Shadow nodded silently in agreement; he'd been holding in his feelings for a long time, and look at him - he was mentally and emotionally scarred beyond repair and had quite possibly the most broken moral compass in existence.
"We know that, but what else can we do? We can't let our guards down for even a second," one of the other Commandramon explained.

"Duly noted, now how about we get in that factory?" FanBeemon suggested with a nervous chuckle, quickly flying to the factory's front door in order to escape his fiancée's wrath...
Only for him to yelp and hide behind Guardromon as several rather deadly-looking weapons came out of hidden compartments, all aiming at the group. "INTRUDER ALERT. PLEASE PRESENT IDENTIFICATION OR BE EXTERMINATED."

"While the sentiment is appreciated, I don't think that'll work - we're all guys. There are no female Commandramon," Leo's Commandramon pointed out, getting nods of agreement from the other Commandramon. "Best solution I can think of is to get this war over with as quickly as possible."
"That's an affirmative, Colonel," a gruff voice confirmed, a Sealsdramon coming out of the tent that the other Commandramon had come out of. He looked over the humans and their Digimon. "You lot'd be the Digidestined, then?"

(Nope, good guess though. xd The request I'm thinking of is actually going to come from Guardromon - I'm using it along with other factors to help lay the groundwork for the second-gen Digimon RP we talked about a while back - the one with human X digimon pairings?)

Sealsdramon snorted. "No - we're TOO military for them," he corrected. "Most other Digimon find us rather intimidating."
"I'd say it's probably all the firearms. One or two small ones make you look badass, too many or too big and you start scaring off the chicks," Lapinmon piped up cheerfully, looking around with interest.

"No, but at this point I'm pretty sure I can sympathize," Jimmy replied dryly, holding up his hands in the universal gesture of surrender.
A small camera-like device came out, scanning the Digivice and Jimmy's gloves before retracting once more. "UNKNOWN DEVICES DETECTED - SEARCHING RECORDS FOR MATCH." Then, "DEVICES IDENTIFIED: DIGIVICE. INVENTOR'S GLOVES. FOLLOWING DIGIDESTINED PROTOCOLS; LEVEL 2 CLEARANCE GRANTED. HAVE A NICE DAY." With that, the weapons hid themselves away once more, and two small access cards popped out of a slot next to the door even as the door opened.

(Giving something a clearance level makes it sound more badass. 3nodding )

Jimmy managed to snag his own card before he followed Evelyn, more than a little curious himself. On the way in, they just so happened to pass a room full of what appeared to be Guardromon, except that they were all offline and all had a defect of some sort.

"WE'RE STRAIGHT, DAMMIT!" came the unanimous, nearly eardrum-shattering answer of the D-Brigade.
Shadow blinked, cleaning out his ears. "...Well, that disproves Christa's theory. Anyway, shouldn't we be focused on getting the Crest of Reliability?" he asked the group, trying to get back to their original objective.

"That's the one," Shadow confirmed.
The D-Brigade, meanwhile, ignored Christa's reply, Sealsdramon instead glancing over at Leo. "Ah, then you came here for the Crest? Well, we're more than willing to give it - along with a little bonus."

Almost immediately upon entering the room, Scarabimon zapped his creator's legs again, causing Jimmy to yelp. "GAH! What was that for?!?" he demanded/whined.
"Behavioral analysis of Creator indicates Creator would have rushed into the room and begun inventing, oblivious to most attempts to terminate his actions," Scarabimon answered.
"In other words, he's got you figured out," Guardromon summed up, smirking down at her paralyzed human partner.
Sparky knew he'd been figured out, so he didn't bother trying to deny it, instead gazing longingly at the scrap metal.
It was at that point that a once in a lifetime event occurred: FanBeemon had a good, non-perverted idea. "Hey, you've got those glove thingies, right? Why not use the scrap metal to patch up those Guardromon we saw in the other room?"
That got the others to pause, ones and zeroes immediately showing up on Guardromon's eyes as she did some quick calculations. "That's actually not a bad idea, perv... there's more than enough scrap metal here to patch 'em all up."
"Calculations indicate that after repairs, there will be enough scrap metal for Creator to experiment with," Scarabimon added helpfully.

Scarabimon nodded before drawing the excess electricity out of Jimmy's legs, allowing him to move once more.
Once Jimmy could move, he followed, cracking his knuckles. "All right then. Guardromon, Scarabimon, you two bring the scrap metal. FanBeemon, Kudamon, Coronamon, try and help if you can. Evelyn, you're going to be my sexy assistant." He then grinned maniacally. "Now, let's get to work... for SCIENCE!"

Sealsdramon noticed Sandra's distrust and snorted. "What, you think we'd try something with one of our own? We're not the Purified or the Fallen, don't treat us as such." He shook his head. "Anyway, I'm going to put this bluntly: Commandramon won't be able to access his Mega Digivolution without going through a special procedure. Fortunately for you, we recently perfected said procedure. I'm not going to lie to you - it'll be complete and utter agony for him, but he'll come out stronger for it."
"Relax, they can be trusted," Lapinmon assured Sandra, easily guessing what the problem was. "Besides, we'll get Hyokomon back eventually."

(Yes, I know the "for science" thing is both cliche and possibly out of character for him... but I just couldn't resist. xd )
