dozens upon dozens of little yellow orbs stare into the world through the rift, they begin to shake almost as if there alive, one by one the eyes begin to close.
A voice could be heard its message carried by the wind" were waiting miester do not forget your vow"

darkness gatheres beneath the tear it grows large as it takes shape, a hooded figure looks towards the sky with a sorrowful smile " the time has come i am here to fullfill my vow" yellow orbs appear within the rift dozens upon dozens of voices scream out to the hooded figure" he will be found but be warned your very soul may be eaten by the darkness if you ever falter we will devour you "
one final smile spreads across his face " i leave it to you avalanche " the orbs rip free of the rift as the darkness enters the world using the hooded ones body as its vessel he screams out in pain while every inch of his body is invaded by the darkness his orgens decay his eyes pop in his skull, his once blue hair stains black while his skin turns gray and lifeless.
" i am complete " the hood drops revealing his face and dark lifeless eyes, the one known as leo was now locked away his soul being suppressed by the darkness, he turns towards the world with a twisted grin " darkness lives once more " his body fades from sight it was time to begin his plan

Streaking down from the heavens, a massive ball of flame was on a mass collision course with the earth. Flickering trails of intense flame streamed behind the object before a sudden, blinding light and thundering rumble could be felt and heard for many miles. The strange object had created one giant creator, taking some of the structure of the Tear's stones within the heat, and completely vaporizing the stones close to it. As minutes past, the flame began to die down, and the orb itself faded away to reveal....a older teenage male, his silver hair short and slightly spiked. His pale face had some sort of dark symbol around his eye and down the side of the right side of his face. His crimson eyes opened slowly, taking in the land before him...
The young man wore a belted black and silver armor, and heavy black boots.Streams of crimson 'ribbon' and chain flowed around him as his body seemed to be surrounded in a never-ending fiery glow, much like Phoenix's little floating amber's when in her special form. Within his grasp was that of a crimson sword, which also had an aura of flame surrounding it. Who was he? Where did he come from? It wasn't the tear, that was for certain. The boy said no words, as his feet began to go forward.

 - Phoenix Serenity -
As the fiery silver haired young man walked, his steps would come to a sudden stop as yet another flame keeper suddenly landed there in front of him. Of course, she sensed another presence similar to her from Yuji's palace, and..snuck off. He probably knew, though. "...And who are you? " Phoenix's tone was calm, yet also held a hint of bitterness. She didn't seem to be her happy, cheerful self lately. "If you are here as an enemy.....I may not be able to take you down.................but some people may...This planet has been through enough torment...It doesn't need another idiot trying to burn it down.." Phoenix wasn't one to judge a book by it's cover, she judged by the presence of the person she was near. And that presence was not pure, or innocent.

K E F K A
The Psycho Clown
It was done! That old bag, Ghestal, had finally been taken care of. The pesky children of the Returners were sent running like the dogs they are with their tails between their legs. And here! Atop the floating continent was Kefka! The perpetrator of it all! He had killed the old man! He had taken down the Returners! And now the statues of the triad were being drained of their power. Kefka was becoming a god!
.:~ A Few Moments Ago ...~:.
Stabbed? "You b***h!" His own blood. He was bleeding. It wasn't that she had hurt him. But, the fact that he was a god! His reaction was one of shock. But that soon turned to rage. And in his rage his power was fueled by the insanity of the man! Kefka moved to stand between the three statues of the Waring Triad. Ghestal flinging warnings at him. Telling him to not do this. That there are other ways. "You only fear for your life, Old Man. And for good reason!"
Looking at one of the statues, he yells in a torrent of rage and demand, "Show me your power. Show me what you can do! Bend to my will!!" And in that moment, the three had no choice. Kefka was too powerful of a foe. They could not withstand his indomitable will. A pure arc of power shot from the combined statues and struck Ghestal square in the chest. The impact flung the human body like a rag doll in the hands of a giant! "Incredible!"
At this point the insanity of the man was overwhelming. But his desire for even more power put all else to shame. With his arms stretched outward, Celes now running in fear of her life as she tried to escape the inevitable, all you could hear over the maniacal laughter of Kefka were the wailing souls of the Waring Triad. It had been done.
In the midst of all that was happening, He had closed his eyes to take in the power of the Triad. Unbeknownst to him was that there was something greater than even himself at play this time. Something that ripped the very fabric of reality and sent him into the depths of the unknown.
.:~ Gaia; The Tear in Reality ... ~:.
When he opened his eyes, what he saw was nearly as shocking to him as finding out he could still bleed. But not in a way that enraged him. It was in a way that truly frightened him. He could feel the power of the Triad still coursing through his body. He had taken from them something that could never be returned. But what had they done? Fore, in his mind he was sure it had to have been the Triad. And then, the rage followed.
"Where have you sent me?! What is this place?!" It didn't even feel like home. There was something odd about this place. He could clearly see for miles and miles about as he was atop a rather large mountain. It was certainly nowhere he had ever been. And it was big. The land seemed to stretch on for as far as they eye could see. "You will pay for this!"
And they would. Seething, as it were, he moved to the edge of the small plain and looked out. There was a blessing in disguise, but at this point he was too blinded by his own rage to see it. This was a new land. And that meant that it was fresh to conquer.

He then opens his eyes, but sees nothing but darkness. "Where am I?" he asks no one in particular. He could feel himself, yet felt disconnected from his being at the same time; a feeling he couldn't quite fathom. "...Is this the hell I am subject to for my sins?" he questions out loud. Then, he feels solid against the soles of his armored boots, as if he were standing on concrete, or stone, and a flash of light occurs in-front of him, causing him to bring his hand to shield his eyes from the sudden adjusting of light. After the light settled, Gabranth brings his hand down to view witness to a woman donned in outrageously lengthy armor, standing on the same plane he is currently standing upon. Around their feet is a swirling green aura which Gabranth swears are emanating faint whispers of...people. He looks up at the woman before him and examines her. She wears blue and golden armor that shines with an utmost brilliance and seems too heavy for a woman of her size. Branching from her shoulders are what Gabranth can only describe as arches with 4 wings on the opposite ends, connected below them are large, pure white banners with etchings along the bottom. In her right hand, she carries a large staff with a pointed end, the deepest red of rubies applied near the tip. In her left hand, she carries a circular shield that seemed to defeat the purpose of a shield, as it had many openings that covered around 45% of the object, with a large, golden plus branching out past the main circumference. The woman's eyes open to reveal deep azure irises that ultimately compliment her already-heavenly complexion, her blonde hair radiating like a sunny afternoon. Gabranth hesitantly takes a few steps forward, reaching his right hand out toward the woman as he searches for guidance in the lonesome dimension. "Please. Help me." he breathes. In acknowledgement, the woman only closes her eyes with the calmest of movements before the green aura around their feet becomes chaotic and begins spiraling upwards. Gabranth feels the plane give away beneath him and he begins to fall away from the woman, the angel. Then, blackness returns to his vision. Eventually, Gabranth's eyes begin to slowly flutter open as he feels consciousness return to his body, warmth washing over his being. Above him is a cloudless and azure sky with the sun high in the heavens. He braces his arms against the ground below himself and pushes himself to a seated position. His eyes gaze over a unfathomable ocean with land approximately 120 kilometers away. Then, his gaze shifts downward and he notices the sloping below him, helping him realize that he is upon a mountain. Gabranth then stands up and looks around his current surrounds, only to find a rather large monument impeding his vision. At its base, Gabranth notices his helmet and swords: the Chaos Blade and Highway Star. He jogs over to them, his armor clinking with each step, slowing down only outside of arms reach. He takes the swords, luckily already being connected, in one hand and takes his helmet in the other. "Now, where am I?" he asks himself, as he doesn't really know the locale around him. Gabranth decides to explore this plot of land, as he'll need to find some sort of civilization in order to acquire a boat... That is if civilization is around. And with that, Gabranth places the helmet over his head and begins running down the mountain and toward land, as he could tell that he was at least on a peninsula. ※❇₪❊❈❆※❇₪❊❈❆※❇₪❊❈❆※❇₪❊❈❆※❇₪❊❈❆※❇₪❊❈❆※❇₪❊❈❆※❇₪❊❈❆※❇₪❊❈❆

Alphonse Kaze The blonde haired male had did what he didn't want to do, he left her behind and headed here. He let out a sigh as he looked upon the familiar buildings and Pyramids along with the huge tear in the sky. He drew his blade and calmly said," Time for my daily training routine. " he closed his eyes and quickly opened them as he seen a large dragon soaring down at him. Which let out a long snarl before sending a burst of flame at him," Lets go!" He took his stance and lunged. And his daily training began...

.:~ Biggs & Wedge (FFVI) ~:. .:~ Biggs & Wedge (FFVIII) ~:.
"Sir ..." The fleeting dream. They had done it. They had found the esper encased in a block of what looked like ice. It seemed this magitec knight would come in useful after all. "Sir?" But something had happened. Why was Wedge so far away? What was going on? "Sir." He sounded so distant. "SIR!"
Biggs' eyes flew open from the momentary dream and he was right back in the action. His hands found the controls of the magitek armor with an instinctive speed. But as soon as he had gathered himself he realized something truly was wrong. No longer were they in the Narche mines. Hell, they weren't even in Narche. The ground was covered in grass, not snow. The air smelled fresh, not industrialized. No. Wherever this was, it certainly was not Narche.
"Report!"
In his own magitek armor, Wedge knuckled his forehead in the standard imperial salute. "The Esper did ... something, Sir. We appear to be on top of a mountain. I passed out, the same as you, but woke up a few minutes ago. Upon surveying the surroundings, we seem to be in a different zone all together. The weather is different. However, Sir. There are two things to take note of. One, being the large monument behind you. And the second is the large occurrence in the sky."
With his last words Wedge looked up and pointed. Biggs's eyes followed his finger and grew wide when they saw what he could only describe as some form of powerful magic at work. He had no sense for the stuff and relied on Wedge to make the most of that crap. But he knew that whatever it was t couldn't be good.
He looked behind him to see what the monument looked like. It wasn't anything he had ever seen in his years of service. This land, wherever they were, was truly foreign. He was busy looking around when he heard Wedge shout, "Sir!" Upon looking over at the man, he saw that his soldier in arms was pointing up, again. Following the finger, as before, he almost fell out of his armor when the large disturbance in the air began to shift. It pulsed slightly and then it stopped.
Both of them were too busy looking up that they neglected to look down. If they had, they would have noticed that two more bodies were now unconscious on the ground. "What in the bloody hell is going on, Wedge?!" As if the other soldier would have an answer. When there was none, he only looked at the man. He was a professional soldier, but that didn't mean he wasn't allowed to be scared. And right now he was truly terrified.
About that time the soldier on the ground, decked in red, started to stir. Being that he was outfitted in metal plating along his upper torso, he made a little noise. Biggs, hearing this, looked over his shoulder and without hesitation shouted, "To arms!" Wedge followed the order as any well trained officer of the Imperial Army would.
When the other Biggs came too, he had two sets of guns, mounted on magitek armor, pointed at him. He didn't even try to resist. To do so would to be folly. So he asked only one question. "What do you want?"
It was then that the original Biggs replied. "You are a prisoner of the Imperial Army. What is your name and rank, Soldier?!" Which was met with a confused look from the Biggs in red. He held his hands up to indicate he was not going to be aggressive and slowly stood. His answer was measured and deliberate. "I am Lieutenant Biggs of the Galbadian Army. I've never heard of an Imperial Army. Where do you hail from?"
At that point the original Biggs had a confused look on his face. He, likewise, had never heard of this Galbadian Army. The coincidence that they had the same name was simply that. He let it go almost immediately. IT wasn't until the second officer on the ground began to stir that things got interesting. As soon as he moved, the other Biggs said to the man, "Wedge. No rash movements."
When the other man answered with a nod, it was the original Wedge who spoke up. "Sir. I think we should put out weapons down, and talk. This is odd." Biggs replied with bedazzled look and said in reply, "I agree, Wedge. This is certainly odd."

Mermaid Princess Azura After spending some time at sea, Azura had first left to Rocket Town, as it was closer to her at the time, only to find strange and rather horrifying creatures attempting to attack the people in the town. There were few injured but no deaths, thanks to her quick work. It wasn't fast, it had taken her a short while to figure out that the creatures wouldn't die just by simple attacks, but after they were defeated, she had learned that Rocket Town was not the only one being attacked, but other occurrences of the same kind were happening in various area's around the world. This of course, worried her. The only guess she had was they were coming from the Tear of Worlds, so she set out to that very area to investigate, if her guess was true, perhaps there was a way to stop the creatures from continuing to spread like the plague they appeared to be.
But instead, while she appeared the area cautiously, the first figures she saw there were not horrific creatures, but instead, humans? All of which appeared to be Soldiers, and not a part of ShinRa by the looks of it.So the next question was, did she want to approach them just like that? She knew nothing of who they were, if they were of good nature or soon to be foes. Sighing softly, she began to walk on, slowly appearing the men but not saying anything just yet, she would wait to see their reactions before doing anything else.

"What are the odds? How can they both have our names?" The question was more to himself than to anyone else. But the answer he got was from the other Biggs. "Not good. Not good at all. Tell me, Biggs? What were you doing before you came to be here?"The red Biggs could only assume that they had similar names. The whole situation was quite perplexing. But not something that was impossible.
As for Wedge, he was looking at the other Wedge and they were having sort of a standoffish staring contest. It could have gone on for days, had they both not noticed the newcomer in the distance. Almost simultaneously they called for their commanders. That was met with a swift turn as all four men were now looking at the beautiful woman.
It was the original Biggs who spoke first. In a voice of command, he said loudly, "Halt! Who goes there?" It wasn't a threat. It wasn't a show of power. It was simply a soldier being a soldier.

Mermaid Princess Azura The young blue-haired women came to a quick, sudden stop at the sudden command. She wasn't about to ignore it, the result of such actions could be pretty bad in the long run.Standing there, her eyes remained on the small group of men as she softly spoke, just loud enough for them to hear her from the short distance between them. "My name is Azura. I don't mean any harm.." She paused, as though to gather words. If these people just came from the portal, she really didn't want to say anything that would make them suspicious of her anymore then they likely were right now in there confused state. "Did you all....Just arrive here? I can explain, to a point what happened. " Though she most certainly could not explain why two of those men had the very same name as the one speaking to her now, and his partner.

An explanation was a good thing. And it offered everyone a chance to really figure out what was going on. "Stand down, Wedge." To which the lanky man replied with a curt, "Yes, Sir." At that point the original Biggs looked to the other Biggs in red and said as he was climbing out of his magitek armor, "It would seem that in my haste I mistook you for the enemy. With that said, I till do not know anything of this Galbadian Army, but I do know that we are not at war. As such, you are no longer my prisoner. And nice name."
The last bit was said with a smirk, but it was received with a nod and a salute. The Original Biggs then went on to add, "I am Officer Biggs and this is Officer Wedge of the Imperial army. Well met, Sir." "Well met, Biggs. This woman seems to know of our predicament. I think we should hear her out."
The Biggs' nodded to each other and moved to intercept the woman. As the original moved past his Wedge, he asked the man, "What do you make of her, Wedge?" The soldier replied with a scrutinizing look and one word. "Esper." When he said the word, the red Biggs only looked on in questioning. He had no idea what an esper was. Hell, he had no idea that the other Biggs and Wedge couldn't use any magic. He thought it was just something anyone could draw from a source.
When all four men were standing there waiting, the original Biggs, who had asserted himself as the leader of this makeshift group, asked the woman. "What exactly has happened to us?"

Mermaid Princess Azura As the men began to draw closer, there was an obvious look of worry in her eyes she just couldn't completely hide. Azura had always went solo on just about every mission she had ever done, she had no partner and for obvious reasons. But sometimes, she could get in over her head. What if these men were actually enemies? She was well out numbered, but part of her really just wanted to trust in them and help them as best she could.
She could hear the brief converse between the men, and she could swear she was hearing double. Maybe she was tired? Her head would soon be swooning with confusion, but for now, she let that slide.Explaining what she knew right now was the better choice, and more so to show she was indeed here to help. "This is what is being called, the Tear of Worlds. No one under stands it fully, all we know is that it brings humans, creatures, monsters of all kinds, even cities of other worlds here. I myself am not from this world, but, I've been here for several years now...We can't figure out how to get back to our original worlds, some have lost families and friends due to this...It has been happening so often now, we've already grown accustomed to these surprises...Some good, some not so much.." She took a moments pause before continuing. "This world is called Gaia. It's lands are often over-run by monsters, so you will want to be extra careful if you are traveling by foot..They use GIL, to buy items they need, which most monsters will drop that you will likely encounter. You all look...skilled to battle, am I right? " They had to be, Soldiers didn't become Soldiers by sitting around doing nothing!
As she looked on, she did notice something that looked very familiar to her. She had only seen it once, when Terra was controlling it. "....Is that....Magitek armor? " She finally asked, glancing toward the original Biggs, as he was the one she last saw climb out of it. "I've seen it before..A friend has one just like it..So maybe you both are from the same world? Do you know anyone by the name of Terra Branford? "

Wedge's eyes squinted at the mention of Terra. His mind was racing with possibilities but all of that was still somehow on the back burner when he said, "Sir?" The original Biggs put his hand up to silence his partner in crime. For a moment he simply thought. He then nodded to the woman. Smiled, and said, "Please, give us a moment."
Motioning for the other three men to follow, he moved away towards the two sets of armor. When he was sure they were far enough away to not be heard, he lowered his voice. "So we are from different worlds. There's a good possibility that we are each others counterparts from those worlds. So all formalities aside, let's get to work, gentlemen. Wedge and I both hold rank of Sergeant." The wedge in blue finally spoke up with a smile on his face. "Lieutenant Wedge." With the Biggs in red replying with, "Major Biggs."
The original Biggs and Wedge saluted the other two men, being as to how they were officers. Biggs said, "You got lead, Major." With a nod the Biggs in blue (Henceforth who will be called Major) took over operations.
"You know the woman they speak of?" Biggs answered with a curt nod and Major continued. "Report." "We were on a mission into Narche to recover an Esper from the mines. When we found the Esper we were somehow transported here, Sir." "Simple enough. This armor, Magitek, she called it. It looks formidable." "It is, Sir. Designed, and maintained by Lord Kefka under the direction of Emperor Gestalt." And these Espers? What are they?" "Beings of magic, Sir."
They spent a good ten minutes questioning each other and figuring out what they could about themselves. Turns out they weren't much different. When they were done, Major stepped forward and nodded to the woman. "I am Major Biggs and this is Lieutenant Wedge of the Galbadian Army. Alsong with Sergeant Biggs and Wedge of the Imperial Army. As to answer your question, yes. That is this Magitek armor you speak of. However, we would like any assistance you can offer."
Talking with friend, or foe, was often like playing cards. You have to know when to hold them, and when to fold them ...

Mermaid Princess Azura Azura shifted a little uncomfortably, was there a reason they had to be so secretive in there discussion? It was making her more nervous then anything else! Taking a seat on a large enough bolder to sit on, she waited for the group to finish there conversation and return to her quietly. "Terra? ....Can you hear me? " She wasn't sure if her telepathy would reach, what with so many of her abilities being a little off lately. "Azura? Yes, what is it? Is everything okay? " Came the half-esper's voice to her mind. Serenitian abilities were just amazing when they were really needed. "I think some friends of yours are at the Tier of Worlds location. They have Magitek Armor as well. They look like Soldiers.." She said to her in return. "I will keep you informed..I want to be sure of there intentions first, right now I am slowly getting bits of information, but they appear more confused and not hostel. "
Finally, her gaze returned to the men as they came back to her and began to introduce, to her confusion. "...You all have the same names? I'm...a little confused. " Then, she realized the Biggs in red mentioned the Galbadian Army. This was all so puzzling. "..Galbadian Army, so you two are from that world as well.." Sighing softly, already her head was spinning with thoughts she just couldn't figure out. "Please let me ask you all this...Your intentions. Do you mean harm to this world, or can I trust you? "
