As the fireball hit, he neither flinched or seemed to give it any attention, though it bore in his mind. Indrid was truly broken over this and he knew that, whatever he may have to say to his fellow Nephilim, he may not follow. Looking to Grathrym, he simply awaited the lords answer on his request.

((Now if only Aston would post XD))

Shari tugged Noktal's arm.
Noky, can we go back? This is unhappy. And those two demoness's keep staring at me. And the doll girl looks somewhat malicious." She whispered to him, hugging close.
"And we haven't had any time to ourselves in a while. I'm getting a bit, hungry." She said, a twinkle in her eye.

Noktal had watched the proceedings with mild interest. He didn't feel as if anything here was important. When Shari grabbed his attention, he nodded to her, a large smile splitting his face. Nodding, he backed up pulling her with him. Opening a small portal, he nodded to Bagarth and Antoinetta and walked back into his room with her. As the portal closed, Shari was pushing him toward the bed, a wicked smile on both of their faces.

((Yeah, if anyone needs Noktal, just knock or something. Nothing too major going on needing his attention so yeah... redface ))

((lmao XD I'd post, Zach, but Syd zoned out and doesn't really know what's going on. Plus, Grathrym needs to decide whether or not Syd can even go with Alastor to the portal. lol))

((Sorry had to work)... and DAMN Namine... I could say that techinically isnt that.... Ugh never mind...)
"You may go Sydney. Oh and mention to Indrid. I'm not sure if this will change his mind. However the reason that I brought Noktal here with the human, was... Well that woman. Her name is Shari. She is his wife. He has the closest thing to a heart any of us has. And even though what you saw when you all fought, im sure that you will see him being gental if you walked in his room. I swear one of these days he wont be careful and she will get pregant. Huh anyways. Just mentio the wife part. Dont mention what I just said. Anyways... Sydney you may go. Im sure that you will return. You have a home here. And tell everyone Alastor. They all have a home here. All they must do is ask for the key. Please... I beg your leave. I do not wish to lose any possible allies. I only wish for us all to survive."

Sydney looked at Grathrym for a moment, not entirely sure why or what he was allowing her to do. But she looked over at Alastor and remembered the sad look he had given her earlier. Why did she get the feeling that he wanted to talk to her privately, without Grathrym or any demons present? The look on her face turned to a slight scowl as she realized that Grathrym was ALLOWING her to go somewhere.

'Why should I listen to anything he tells me to do? I can do what I want, when I want. He has no right to tell me what to do!' Sydney thought to herself with mild contempt for the Devil Lord. She didn't have to even return here like Grathrym expected her to. But then again, given Indrid's reaction to her changing sides, there was a fifty/fifty chance that everyone else at the Regiment would feel the exact same way that Indrid did right now.

'Dammit... Why did I even leave in the first place?' Syd cursed herself mentally before looking over to Alastor. Then, Sydney turned to face the portal to the courtyard, waiting a mere moment for Alastor to follow her.

Wait! Bagarth's mind screamed at Noktal, but it was too late. The other Devil had slipped away once again. And from the two's exchanges of expressions, it looked like Bagarth may be out of luck trying to "steal" Noktal's human away to go shopping on Earth. "So much for that," she whispered to Ann. "Was hoping to get Noktal's wifey to come along."

And on the other hand, Grath was being a bit too humble for someone of his stature. The Regiment had better consider the offer carefully, and even if they turned it down, the response better not be a rude snide remark.

Well, she and Ann had guided Alric to Grath's chambers. There wasn't anything else to do in chambers. Maybe she would check out the interesting aura. It seemed as if it was a mix of both demon and angel... a halfbreed perhaps?

She left the palace and headed toward the aura/scent.

((Autumn, heading in your direction.)

Before leaving, Alastar bowed to the Demon Lord, as show of respect before leaving to the portal to the courtyard. Once away from the portal, he caught wind of J'valia's scent. She came as well, probably worried about Indrid and himself. With a slight sigh, he stopped and looked to Syd. "Syd, I won't place the same blames as others would against you, but I need to know : Why did you leave us?"

Alaric Zarkov

Alaric looked over at the two demons that had shown him the way here, "thank you" he whispered before he looked around and saw that the others had left this room or where leaving. Although it was interesting to him to see another human here with them, but they where nothing more then a civilian. He thought for a moment before he moved into the chamber a bit more and turned to face Grathrym. Alaric thought for a while before speaking letting the area clear up a little for the time being. "I have the information you have requested Lord Grathrym. As well I am here to inform you we will commence the destruction of the celestials base on Terra and are preparing what it need to sent the probes to the celestials plain" he said, as he stood there at attention. Alaric would wait here for the time being to hear his response if he had any, as well as answer any question about the matter at hand.

Even as they left Grathrym's chambers, Sydney didn't look over at Alastor. Mostly because she didn't know what to say. As soon as Alastor asked her the one question she had really been dreading despite the fact that she wouldn't admit to dreading it. She stopped dead in her tracks, staring down at her feet for a couple of minutes. The, she finally spoke up.

"Why did I leave? I left because... I felt I was protecting everyone else. The demon that attacked us said if I didn't go along, he'd kill everyone." Syd finally said. "It was also a chance for us to actually do something. Even though I have agreed to work for the demons, I don't want to be here. It's not a home."

((I'm at work, so my replies might take a bit))

*A faint smile began to cover his lips as he heard the answer. If there was someone who was at the very least truthful, it was her. It also went against the fact that she joined them willingly. She was threatened to oblige. A hand calmly placed on her shoulder, he spoke softly. "I understand how you feel there. If I was in the same position you were, I would not hesitate to do the same thing, but a lot has happened while you have been here. Many are now dead...including Sin..."

((it's okay. I have the television to help with boredom lol))

As Alastor placed his hand on her shoulder, Syd blinked, startled. It felt nice to know someone agreed with her about what she had done. At least not everyone hated her. A smile was about to grow on her face when Alastor told her what had happened after she left. Including Sin's death. That news hit her hard like a sack of potatoes to the face, or knocking the air out of her lungs. Her shocked face looked up at Alastor. "W-What...? Sin is... dead?"

Nodding solemnly, his one eye conveyed his own sadness. "I was going to check on the autopsy results when I returned to the Garthora and provide him and the rest in cremation a proper burial." Sighing heavily, he took his hand off of Syd's shoulder. "If only I...we all were stronger, it could have been prevented, but it happened after I fell in battle. If you hadn't taken their offer, though, many more would have died, I am sure of that, so don't blame yourself." His feet taking back to walking, he motioned Syd to follow. "Still, for now, I think it's safe not to come to the Garthora for now, especially after the fireball Indrid threw at the castle."

((I have to head off to class in a couple of minutes, so this will be my last post until I get back in about an hour and a half.))

Syd stared at Alastor for a few minutes, her own despair showing on her face and in her eyes. She was there when Sin was trapped in that damn lightening cage! And what had she done? Left him in there while she tlked needlessly to Noktal.

"Dammit. I was there! I could have done something!" she said aloud as Alastor started walking once again. Despite him telling her not to blame herself, Sydney was still doing just that, blaming herself. However, once Alastor gave the signal to start walking again, Sydney stopped speaking for the moment. Until ALastor suggested that she not return to the Garthora yet. "Alright... I understand..." she murmured. "By the time I get there, Indrid will probably have more than half the people there hating me already anyway..." Sydney said softly, looking up at Alastor with a sad sheepish smile.

"I'll talk to Indrid, so don't worry...Afterall, I'm starting to think that neither light nor dark can be trusted fully..." Upon reaching the castle gates, he saw J'Valia, just as he had predicted from her scent, waiting for him. Knowing how she might react to Syd appearing next to him, he simply closed his eye and shook as head as if to tell her not to say anything, just to follow as they continued.

((Understandable, have a fun day in class))
