"What the hell is up with everyone?" Cody asked as he walked into the common room. "It's like after the mission, we all got Safari Zone blues. Not cool. By the way, hey Ike. Welcome to the team Rc. Took you long enough, bro." he walked over and sat on the couch. "Can Cyndaquil evolve?"

"Wow! Evolution requests." Ginji smiled as he passed the new boy. "Hey Rc, you must be the new recruit. For a new mission, I would suggest heading to the mission board and selecting a level 1 mission. My personal favorite of those is Night Raid on Devon."
"As for those evolutions... I approve both Squirtle and Cyndiquil for Maddy and Cody respectfully." Ginji smiled as he made a note of it.

MISSION- Flame on! Go find a fire pokemon!
Pokemon: Any non evolved, non legendary fire pokemon
Money: 600
“Find a fire pokémon,” Kida thought, while laying on the warm rock of the mountain. “There are so many,” he said aloud as he wondered which pokémon he would catch or even see. He sat there a moment longer convincing himself to rise from the soothingly, warm bolder, on which he plopped his body roughly an hour ago. “Time to get up” Kida told himself, “Time catch that pokémon for my mission.” Yes, he was on a mission and a simple one, I might add. His only task was to find a fire pokemon. The mission didn’t even say he had to catch it, even though he would anyway. He thought once again of the different fire pokemon he might see: Magmar, Magby, Slugma, Torkole and many more. He began to scale the mountain up to were its warm rock turned to liquid rock, then to red hot magma. Soon, fire pokémon became much less rare, he began to see pokémon he hadn’t thought of like: Cyndaquil, Charmander, Growlith. He looked into his bag looking for pokéballs, he wanted to catch them all, but noticed he only had two pokéballs. He decided to try capturing the Charmander and Cyndaquil.
All three of the pokemon mentioned in the seconded list jumped out. “This will be hard,” he thought, knowing he only had a couple pokemon that were strong against fire types. “Go, Zubat, Dratini, Scyther,” he bellowed as he threw his own pokéballs up into the air releasing them. Kida yelled orders from the sidelines and each time the pokemon would respond with little hesitation. “Zubat use leech-life on Charmander to gain energy from your opponent,” he commanded, the attacked followed with great affect and timing as it hit “Dratini use your bubble to knock out Growlith,” he ordered while the attack was super affective. Growlith fainted just before it hit Kida’s Scyther with an ember. “Zubat, Dratini, use a simple tackle to weaken the remanding pokémon,” he asked as the attacks made them much weaker and so they could almost be caught. “Zubat, use your supersonic,” he said as he noticed Charmander was about to recoil with an ember. “They should be weak enough now,” he thought, prepping his pokéballs. “Go Pokeballs!” he screamed, the engulfed the Cyndaquil and Charmander. Kida waited in anticipation for the relieving click of capture. “Click,” it sounded “Yes!!!” he shouted, “We caught it” Kida instantly stopped his excitement as he made his way down the mountain and found the same spot upon which he plopped himself three hours ago. He was comfortable now, knowing his mission was completed.

Quote: MISSION- Flame on! Go find a fire pokemon! Pokemon: Any non evolved, non legendary fire pokemon Money: 600 Fail. The mission is too short, with little story. As are the battles. Also it doesn't follow the prompt. "Pokemon: Any non evolved, non legendary fire Pokemon" does not mean multiple Pokemon, and nor does "Go and find A fire Pokemon" although I do commend you for doing a 3v3 battle, even if it is too short. Pokemon usually take 2-3 attacks to KO on level 1 missions, and they fight back, rough. I won't penalize you for doing more then one battle, but I will for catching more then 1 Pokemon. Usually, unless stated otherwise, you may only catch 1 Pokemon on missions.

"How do you make a mission longer that only has one simple task" he murmured "And when you try to make it more difficult you fail! ARRRRRG" he screamed

"I don't recommend doing 3v3 battles for a while. The actual mechanics of those battles are pretty much beyond you at this point. You make it longer by simply adding more story, dialogue, and by making the battles more fun and interesting to read." Ginji stated as he plopped on the couch and opened his book, not looking at the disgruntled Aqua recruit.

"Fine. As you wish." Ginji sighed as he walked to the teleporter "Let us change location though." He wasn't going to go easy on Kida. But he wasn't going to go all out.
((No ref means no Evo points. As I'm a ref, it's considered biased to ref your own battles))

They walked out of HQ and into a starry night, the moon was up above hanging in the cloudless sky and the familiar field was laid out in front of them. Ginji sighed as he reached for a Pokeball. "Absol, time for some exercise." Ginji smiled as he released the Disaster Pokemon.

He observed the pokemon before he made his choice on which one of his pokemon to use. "Go, Zubat!" Kida shouted as he released his pokemon for its ball.

Absol wasted no time, as soon as the Zubat was released it attacked with a furious Psycho Cut, slashing at the very fabric of space and time. "Wow. Absol must've been training." Ginji comments as he watches the battle from the sidelines.

"Zu" Zubat screamed with surprise as he dodge with a natural reflex "Zubat use supersonic," Kida commanded as sound waves pulsed from Zubat's mouth.

Absol countered with a sound attack of its own. Perish song rained down from the heavens, getting disrupted by the supersonic and canceling both out. Absol gave a smug look as Zubat, the Pokemon with no eyes, looked confused. But it must just be thinking. Absol was ready.

Zubat took in a deep breath to try and make itself look bigger, it was attempting to intimidate Absol. Zubat flew up high to assure it could avoid attacks that were physical. "Zubat, use a gust attack from up high," he ordered and the attack commenced.
