Calista set in her cage staring out at everyone around her. 'How did I get myself into this? There's no one here I know at all. I have no friends or family here. I'm all alone.' She sighed waiting for someone to decide to take her with them.
Riley watched people walk by pulling his legs up to his chest. 'I have to stay calm or else no one will want me. Why did this have to happen to me? No one even cared about me. I'm so afraid right now. Someone please, get me out of here.'

Dahlia sat in her cage feeling alone in the world. Her fox ears twitched as she listened to the people around her thinking she would never get a home.
