"So your powers are also linked to an elemental spirit?" Kai asked, watching the ice melt in the lake. "But other than that, your just a normal person, aren't you?" He lowered his gaze to the grass along the edge. Looking more serious than he has been. He had heard that people with unique powers that grow up among normal humans usually live a life of misfortune. If this was true, was this the case for Taerel?

"Indeed." Kai said, running his hand through his blonde bangs. "There really isn't a master or slave here, either. Yuri resides in my body, and I get to use ice. Oh yeah, Yuri is an ice dragon spirit. I'm not sure if you could since him." Kai said, smiling. "Before I met him, my life is hell. Of course it still is hell at times, but at least now I have the power to fight back."

A bit overwhelmed by so many questions at once, Kai slowed down, and inhaled. "Its a long story. But yeah, he talks." Kai said, slightly avoiding eye contact by staring at the large white ribbons in her hair instead of into her violet eyes. "Yuri was... Kind of a rogue where he came from. He was chained and shackled. And then I found him. He some how sensed that I yearned for power. Power equivilant to the power that should have flowed through me at birth. But didn't. I was born magically stunted, which led to some problems in my family, since they are a long line of arcane mages, who claim descendence from the dragons. Anyways, because I couldn't use magic, I was often denied privilages that the "Normal" family members had. And Yuri fixed that for me."

Training? Was Taerel even much of a fighter? Or was it a different kind of training she had in mind? Kai slowly rose to his feet and brushed the dirt off his new trench coat. "I guess I could give you some pointers. Who knows. You might even be able to teach me something." He said, giving a smile.

"What should we do?" Kotarou asked Asuka not taking his eyes off the girl.

"I don't know. We just got here and already I messed up." Asuka said in a slightly sad tone.

"It's not your fault. It's mine, I should have been more careful." he said reassuring her. "Come on, lets take care of this problem before it gets too big." he added as he started to head over to the girl.

"A-alright!" Asuka said as she floated after him.

As Kotarou walked towards the girl he realized he was still holding the flowers he picked a few moments ago, he quickly stuck them in his pocket. "Um Hi!" he said with a nervous smile as he got close to the girl. I hope I can stop this from getting bigger than it needs to be. he thought to himself.

Asuka just floated right behind him, not wanting to mess up again.

"Date!?" Kai snapped, taking a few steps back, with a red face. "W- What kinda...?" Kai was baffled, at the sudden proposal. A training date? Maybe for a couple of brawlers, but Taerel didn't seem like that type either. He began to settle down, feeling his sweat beginning to nervously circulate. Calm down, man. Its just a training session with "Date" slapped over it. I could handle this. He thought, closing his fists tightly. "Alright... I guess I can." He responded, rather pathetically, as he looked off to the side.

Kai watched as the pink haired girl rolled to the ground once again. Once again, his eyes stayed more on the white ribbon than anything else. "So... When are we going to start?" He asked, begining to crack his knuckles.
