Caesar shakes his head as he crosses his arm over his chest, his cheeks a little pink. He couldn't exactly deny it when it was true. "Jeez Fields, you really are difficult to figure out. You definitely aren't boring I'll give you that." Caesar's smile softens as he thinks of how sympathetic he was to the dead child at the dojo, he never apologized before. "But honestly, I must say that I may be slowly gaining my hope for some humans thanks to you." Fields snorted, "That's the first time ein have ever helped someone in un good vay." He got up from his seat and headed towards the kitchen, opening the fridge to pick out a drink.

It took him a moment to realize that he was staring first so long before he had finally turned away with an embarrassed blush on his face. "W-Well you did give me a place to stay as well and you haven't tried to pick me apart so you have done a couple of good things for me I guess." Caesar rubs the back of his neck with a sigh as he avoids looking back at the man. "You aren't too bad a guy Fie-Adler...for a human." He had almost forgotten about the agreement on the names but managed to catch himself and address the doc by the Name he had given to Caesar. A chuckle came from the doctor as he reached a hand into the fridge. "You're not so bad yourself... Caesar." he said, still not that used to addressing him by his actual name. It was strange saying it, too, but... a good strange.
Fields glanced at him over his shoulder. "Do you vant somezing to drink?" he offered while pulling out a bottle of beer.

Caesar looks over at Fields before shaking his head with red cheeks, not sure if he could get used to the doc calling him by his Name. It made him feel a little strange. He just wasn't sure if it was a good or bad thing yet.
It made him think back to what the demon had said earlier about having feelings for the doc. The thought of that being a possibility only made Caesar blush even more before shaking his head to rid himself of such thought. "N-No, I am fine, thank you." Caesar rubs the back of his neck with a sigh as he avoids looking back at the man again, hoping that the doc didn't notice his change in attitude. "Really? Nazing?" Fields blinked. "Not even vater?" Well... it made sense, in a way. Caesar didn't eat anything but hearts, so maybe he didn't need water or any kind of drink. Or maybe he drank blood. Who knows? That in mind, Fields returned to his seat and popped the cap off the bottle before bringing it to his lips and starting his drinking.

Caesar sighs as he thinks about how to explain it to the man, his cheeks still pink. "Well, I can taste things when they are strong in taste like string alcohol or super sweet and bitter things. I can taste weak things like soda or juice at times but not unless I have just eaten a heart." Caesar sighs as he looks down at the table, scratching his cheek softly before adjusting his glasses. "Perhaps I should find a different way to nourish myself. Eating hearts isn't a very attractive trait and it doesn't work well with my resolution to try to live in peace with humans..." Fields tilted his head back and laughed at Caesar's last comment. He would have normally just chuckled, but he was in a good mood from capturing Armageddon, and his beer was helping, too. "Vhat else can you eat that nourishes you then?" he inquired, leaned back in his seat and taking another casual swig of his drink.

Caesar sighs as he puts his hands in his hair and grips it tightly, groaning not from the pain but from him having no clue on what to do. "I really don't know...I only started eating hearts to prove a point and to show how much I suffered but I kind of developed a liking to it after the first one hundred hearts I ate." Caesar releases his hair from his death grip with yet another groan, the pain giving himself surge of energy which only reminded him how strange he was. He was a rare type of demon who hated humans, ate hearts, possibly had a crush on not only a man but a human man, enjoyed inflicting pain on his others and himself and loved to watch people die. "If that is the case then can't you just eat somezing else until you like it?" suggested the doctor. "Does human food help your energy or do you need limbs?" With a grunt Fields already began rising from his seat and headed back to the kitchen to find something left in either the fridge or the cabinets.

Caesar sighs as he leans back in his chair, his head falling back also as his shirt shifted, scars now visible on his ribs, stomach, and chest including the scarred gash and small stitch dots from his previous wound. And if one were to move the shirt collar, they would see a branding mark on-the-job side of his neck. "I tried eating human food, the only thing I don't end up puking back out is sweet or sour stuff like candy and eating any other piece of a human is no better than the heart." "So all you can eat is candy?" Fields asked with a slight frown. He didn't carry that unnecessary waist of space in his home. As the doctor looked over to Caesar for an answer, he noticed the opened shirt once again and looked away quickly, doing his best to cover his blush.
