Xenos Mortium Okay, first off, what's the matter with StarCraft? And secondly, something that I always wanted to play in DoW was the Imperial Guard vs the Tyranids, in the snow. That would kick a**. They ripped off 40K in so many ways.

1.40 is the latest patch and the biggest, the game should start up right just like the time you installed it, meaning that you'd have to reconfigure the graphics etc. But after that things should run smoothly, though I do suggest that you slide the body option to low or off, as many low end machines can't take it when you kill several hordes of orks on the same spot.

Ophiuchus The Jack Man They're playing clips of the game everytime Star Trek comes on or goes in adverts... One thing I have to say... W00t the fookin' muthafooka'! They have Chaplins! pirate Yeash, I noticed too. "Hammer of the immortal emperor" xd corny ******** phrase. You brits are lucky GW is so popular over there, over here in the states, (Minnesota, to be exact. the closest GW store is in chicago.) When we show off our miniatures, people ask us "Why'd some gay model company rip off warcraft?" At least the average numbskull over there know the hobby. Me, my compy is shitty, so when i got DOW and it tried for a week to install it, i decided i'd do better saving for a new compy. I've yet to play any army other than the marines, but other than thjat, i'm super hyped for WA

That would kick a**. They ripped off 40K in so many ways. From what I hear, GW was going to have Blizzard make a 40k game, but the deal fell though, and rather than throw out what work they got done with, they just changed things around and made thier own game, which is why it has so many similarities.

True, it has been confirmed. But it's still too sad that people are saying that the Tyranids are ripped from the Zerg...

I know people who are... reluctant to believe that Starcraft came from WH40K.

I just figure that since the deal fell through, Blizzard ran with it and made a good game. More power to them.
If they could make another deal and Blizzard actually makes a Warhammer 40K game, then it would likely be the greatest game ever created, ever.

Don't forget that GW also has a deal with NAMCO for a fantasy based strategy game, which will feature four armies (Empire, Chaos, Orks and Dwarves or Elves). Though I fear for NAMCO, as they solely worked on console games in the past.
