Rio fell asleep within seconds. Kai pulled on Rio's shirt and yawned. He curled up in his bed and thought about Malcom. I hope he isn't in much pain anymore... I still feel so sad that he lied to me... Then he hid his face in his pillow and started drifting off to sleep.

Malcom slept peaceful through out the night. but as morning came so did the pain from his wounds. Malcom bite his lip as he sat up. Isaac whined and layed his head in Malcom's lap. "i'm ok boy but i won't be up and walking anytime soon."

Kai and Rio woke up minutes apart in the morning. Kai yawned sleepily and Rio walked over to his twin. "You go stay with master. I'll make us some breakfast, ok?" Kai nodded and got up. Rio went downstairs and started cooking. Kai knocked gently on Malcom's bedroom door, remembering the words Blake had said last night, causing a small blush to cover his face. Kai shook his head and thought to himself, Ignore it Kai... He was probably just being a pain in the neck as usual... then he thought again, I wonder if master's wounds are hurting again...

Kai walked into the room and smiled lightly, "Good morning master. Do your wounds hurt?" he walked over to Malcom and felt his forehead, "Your fever has gone down... but your still a little warm." Then he sighed in relief and said, "I'm so glad your fever went down. I was so worried about you master... But I think Isaac was the most worried." then he laughed lightly.

Malcom smiled. "They hurt some but not as bad as last night,Kai." He petted Issac. "Isaac and i have been together since he was puppy. I think he would die without me." He looked at Kai. "Thanks for worrying about me Kai. I'm sorry about Blake last night. He can push a subject."

Kai smiled and said, "Since he was a puppy? I bet he was super cute. He is still cute though." He reached over and rubbed Isaac's head and continued, "And Blake doesn't bother me that much... he is just annoying."

"Being annoying is just Blake's way of being nice." Malcom laughed lighty. "wheres Rio? still sleep?"

"He is making breakfast. Knowing him he will make the simplest thing he knows." Kai laughed. "And knowing him, he won't let us know the food is done until after he has eaten"

Malcom laughed. "Atleast he made it. Why don't you go eat? I'm fine for right now."

"Alright Kai. Take Isaac,he needs to eat." Malcom gently pushed Isaac out the bed.

Kai nodded and took Isaac downstairs. He got Isaac's food and bowl and filled it. Then he sat down at the kitchen table with his brother who was stuffing his face with food. Rio smiled and pushed a plate of food towards Kai and said, "Eat up." Kai laughed lightly and replied, "I'm afraid I might get food poisioning from your cooking.

Malcom foruced himself and up and grabed a cigarettee from the bedside table. Just as he was about to lite it,his cell phne rang. It was his office. For once he didn't answer.

Rio rolled his eyes at Kai's statment about food poisioning and said, "Fine then. Don't eat." Kai laughed and started eating. When he finished he put his plate away and said, "Rio, put some food on a plate for master would you?' Rio stood up and nodded.
