Yellow eyes looked at him, silently agreeing to what he said. But...

She looked over to the bathroom, knowing what she had to do. Her tail uncurled, it's lenght prooving to be a hassle she had yet to properly figure out as it's lenght stretched out even passed Alec despite him sitting feet away.

As the teen went to get up, her legs caught on something. She looked back, realizing that her shorts had been pulled down by her tail. Her body was just one long stretch now from head to tail, no signifigant apperance as to where her rear or even anything else down there had gone.

Oh god...

Amaya slid onto her stomach, holding her head in her hands again. Now she knew how Cassidy felt.

Alec grimaced as she awkwardly moved, expression looking like he was in the process of trying to work out a way to help. he didn't want to reach out and grab her in case she didn't feel like moving due to the pain and due to the possibility that she was in some awkward state he should just let her work out on her own.

"Uh... C'n a 'help wi... anehthin?" He felt very out of place. He couldn't tell if she wanted him to help or leave entirely, as she hadn't given any sufficient indication yet.

The reptile slowly kicked off her shorts, knowing now that there was no way she could wear them anymore. She then grabbed at the bottom of her shirt with a claw and ripped it off. Now that it wasn't so tight on her, she felt like she could breath better.

She exhaled slowly and got to all fours. The movement felt so fluid it scared her. Could she even walk on two feet anymore?

Amaya was ashamed of herself, standing there looking like an overgrown iguana with only her pendant and shreds of her shirt left. Her top felt so heavy...

"... Help me stand. Please."

Alec watched and waited as she seemed to struggle with herself, shredded clothing being peeled away. He would've normally felt very embarassed by the situation, but the degree of animality made him more comfortable, oddly enough.

Now that the little blood she'd caused had dried on her scaley skin, it was easier to focus on the task at hand. Nodding at her request, he got to his feet and walked over to stand at her side. He reached down to begin to help but stopped, feuding with himself on what angle or approach to take. Finally, he hesitantly reached down again and gripped her under her arms to try and help her up from behind.

Amaya's arms felt strange, her shoulders almost non-existant now that her neck was so wide. Her top was heavier then her bottom, now larger then her hips instead of the other way around. Scaley arms stuck out to the front more then they normally would, and tucked a little as if she were unable to put them to her sides.

She seemed to lean back against him as Alec helped her up. Her legs shifted to position underneath her instead of how she had been animalistically positioned moments before. The iguana's long tail came in handy, sliding directly behind her to help keep her upright.

But after she was standing unsteadily with Alec's help, her eyes scrunched shut and a painful breath escaped her nostils. Everything was spinning.

Alec was grateful when he'd managed to get her upright, still holding tight only he shifted himself to the side again so that she could lean on him like that instead. Man, she was heavy. He tried not to show it but the young teen wasn't exactly a body-builder, which didn't help his task of having to hold up a dazed and weak Amaya.

The only indicator to his struggle was an occasional grunt. "Teh th'bath?" He motioned with his head, wondering if she wanted a shower or something. He had no idea how long she'd been lying there.

The teen nodded, shifting slightly so that she could lean on Alec's side instead. "The mirror. I can't see in front of me." She blinked a couple of times, though felt dizzy every time her eyes opened.

Alec nodded and began leading her towards the bathroom to the vanity mirror, not really caring for the reason. At that point he just wanted to be useful and help out any way he could. He hadn't noticed the new position of her eyes or how that could possibly affect her vision.

Regardless, he did his best to ease the iguana girl infront of the mirror in the bathroom as she wished.

Once she was in front of the mirror, Amaya grabbed the edge of the sink to keep herself steady. Even though her eyes were open, she couldn't see herself. Ever-so-slowly, she cocked her head to the side.

She couldn't believe the image of the mirror was actually her. It... it was an iguana. Not a mix of the two. Not a girl with scales. It was an iguana. The dewlap on her neck raised out and even the spikes running down her head seemed to perk at attention.

N-No... this can't be me...

Amaya's legs shook before giving way. She fell to her knees and stared straight ahead. "Can't be me..."

Alec waited as she took the image in. He knew it was a definite shock, he himself could hardly believe what he was seeing. It was as if he was dreaming.

"SHITE!" He wheezed as she fell down, his attempts at keeping her up had failed. She was just too heavy. As a consequence of this, he ended up falling down as well, landing on his rump next to Amaya. "oof."

Again, he didn't know what to say. He couldn't just go into another spheal of how 'things were going to be ok' or worse yet, that 'it isn't that bad'. He wouldn't even be able to fool himself into believing that what had happened was something that could easily be dealt with. To his knowledge, this was hte worst yet. "'Am sorreh." Was all he could utter amongst another sigh.

Amaya didn't say anything for a long time. It was such a hard thing to comprehend. But she seemed to be almost in shock. Unable to be dragged any lower then she was.

"Can you... run and get me a salad and a bottle of water? I need to see something..." Could she even eat anymore? Or go to the bathroom?

She wasn't about to go outside. Not yet.

"Uh ye.... ye sure." Alec quickly got up and went to exit the bathroom until he turned and looked back down at her. She was so broken but he had no idea how to fix a damned thing.

"'s no good sittin theh." He mumbled and itched at the back of his neck. "Come n' si' on ye bed. A'll be back n' a sec." He hesitantly went off and left her there, shutting the door behind him. It was a brisk jog to the caf as he possibly ignored several people on the way there and back, balancing a salad as well as a few bottles of water under his arm.

The reptile watched him jog off, only taking his advice when he was gone. Slowly she got up and wiped the blood from a couple of the scratches on her face and chest. They stung, but they'd heal eventually.

She then set to finding a large white t-shirt she had lying around that would still fit her. None of her pants would anymore. And she couldn't be more grateful that her necklace still hung around her neck. It was a little tight, but not enough to strangle her.

Afterwards she went and tried to sit on her bed. Amaya moved around a lot trying to find a comfortable position. The only way she could think of was to prop her back up on the headboard and sort of stay in a half laying, half sitting position. Her tail blocked most positions she could go in now, so it flopped between her legs and went so far as to travel off her bed and onto the floor.

Alec returned not long after, lettig himself in through the unlocked door. He went right over to the bed where he saw Amaya was now laying, setting down the large bowl of salad that looked as if he'd taken the entire available serving. Placing a couple of bottles of water by the bowl, he backed off and through himself tiredly into a chair, slumping his shoulders.

He had no idea what time it was, but he felt like sleeping.

It was rather late, and Amaya was tired too... but that was to be expected.

Her strange eyes followed Alec as he walked in and then set the food down before flopping into a chair. She felt bad for ordering him around. Her large pink tongue flickered, confirming her belifes. "It's late... you can go sleep if you want. I'm sorry for dragging you into this."
