Ceon looked at Layna oddly, noticing a change in her mood, but didn't think much of it, comparing itto the false alarm that had happened only a bit earlier. "Layna?" Ceon manaaged to get out of his mouth.

Layna blinked, and looked at Ceon, her grey eyes bright with muted excitement. "Yes?" She murmured. She wasn't angry or anything. She was...utterly calm. Her abdomen shivered with violent kicks and movement as the infant changed positions.

Ceon put his hand to her abdomen and felt the series of hard kicks innside of her. "Is it...is it time?"

Layna shivered, her hands clenching rhythmically upon the sofa. Her breathing had gone into a slowed, relaxed path. She wasn't at all on edge. She was delighted. "It's time..." She whispered. She pushed at the loose sweatpants she wore, trying to get the wet material off. It felt tight all of a sudden; uncomfortable. She bit her lip, groaning soundlessly as the contraction flitted through her.

Ceon was slightly taken back with shock,then quickly recalled what he did when Marissa had her children. What he would have to do could possibly break his back. He got up and struggled to lift up Layna in his arms, but managed. He carried he over to the bathroom, and set her down gently in the bathtub. He turned one of the knobs and allowed some warm water to flow out into the tub and around Layna, an attempt to help keep her calm and focused later on.

Layna yelped softly as the water touched her bare legs. It was more of a shock than anything. She tugged off the thick-clothed hoodie she wore, and threw it onto the floor. She reached for one of Ceon's hands and squeezed it gently, thanking. "I promise I'll try not to break your fingers." She joked lightly.

Ceon held Layna's hand as he knelt down beside her. "Layna, I promise you, my bones will be turned into powder by the time you're done. You will face pain you've never thought of. When this starts to happen, you need to continuously take two short breaths in and one long breath out." Ceon placed a hand on Layna's cheek and kissed her deeply.

Layna's heart stuttered and stammered as he kissed her. It still managed to leave her breathless. "Pain is easy to endure....just don't think about it." She murmured, listening to the advice Ceon had given her. She was still nervous, but she couldn't wait to hold her son in her arms.

Ceon rubbed her hand gently and moved his free hand to Layna's bare stomach, where small imprints of hands and feet came and dissapeared quickly. He gave a slight push to make things goa tiny bit faster.

Layna groaned, gripping his hand tightly. Her breath became ragged, but she forced it into rhythm. Her feet braced against the side of the tub as the contraction hammered against her stomach. She felt a pained growled ripped from her throat as she bared down against the weight. Her grip tightened, and her eyes flashed platinum. "Ergh!" She whimpered against the heaviness.

Ceon felt Layna's hand grip around his tightly, but Ceon showed no pain, he couldn't show weakness in front of her now. He pushed a bit harder, "come on Layna, push."

Layna growled, sweat beading upon her forehead as she pushed. It was painful, but she wouldn't give up. She wasn't even aware that her wolven side was beginning to show. Dark black fur sprouted like feathers upon her arms and neck, quickly cascading to cover pale skin. Her eyes squinted shut as a particularly painful contraction struck, causing her to cry out. Claws dug into the tub, holding on for traction as she pushed. She growled again through a wolven muzzle, hoping the pain would end.

Ceon clenched his teeth as claws dug deep into his hand. He wiped the sweat from Layna's brow right before she turned to a lycan, "Just keep pushing, love. You're doing great."

Sibyl came into the bathroom, having rounded up a few towels and blankets for when baby decided to show its face. She saw that Layna had reverted to lycan form, completely natural. Wolves dealt with the pain better than humans and they were used to having more than one pup so this would go a lot faster with Layna in lycan form. "Good job Layna, just keep in that form. It'll be easier for you to give birth in it since lycans can give birth to litters as opposed to single children."

Layna closed her eyes, her teeth bared as she breathed heavily through her mouth. It was true; there wasn't as much pain as there was in her human form. The weight within her shifted once again as she continued to bear down upon it. Her lips drew back as she snarled in pain, feeling light-headed at first as she pressed down again. She let out quick breaths, her eyes squeezed shut. And then the pain was gone. She gasped through her teeth, her ears pricking forward as tiny whine, and a yelp of distress reached her. The tiny ball of black and grey fur wriggled in the water, seeking dryness.
