The Noctowl dove at Mikami, as the Flygon wove to avoid the bird. The dragon grinned eagerly, calling out his challenge to the nocturnal bird.
"Kay, use a Fire Blast, Mika!" Chloe called to her partner. Mikami was eager to comply as he inhaled, firing off an intense wave of flame at the Noctowl.
"Frrrrrrrrraaaaai!" he cried, as the Noctowl was engulfed in a fireball. The bird shrieked out a hoot of indignation as it fired back a Confusion. Mikami wasn't too impressed, sneering as the two circled each other in the air, preparing for the next attack.
"Mika, another Fire Blast," Chloe instructed, and the Noctowl was reintroduced to Mikami's fire. The Noctowl used Peck, diving in close to striket at the dragon. Mikami recovered easily from the blow as he wove through the trees of the outskirts of Snowpoint, Noctowl in hot pursuit.
"Alright Mikami, finish it off with a Dragon Claw!" Chloe called with a smile, knowing that this would end the battle. Mikami nodded, diving in at the Noctowl claws glowing with a violet energy.
Suddenly the energy sputtered out, leaving Mikami staring confused at his hands, wondering why the attack had stopped. The Flygon flit out of the way of the Noctowl, who gave chase. Mikami whirled, snarling at the bird, which caused the Noctowl to relinquish a few wingbeats, fluttering a bit further away from the Flygon.
Suddenly the sky darkened above the two of them. Chloe looked up at the clouds, noticing that one in particular seemed to be glowing red?
Before anyone had the chance to do anything, a fireball fell from the sky, slamming into the Noctowl, driving the bird to the ground with a shocked shriek.
Mikami snorted, smirking faintly. That really wasn't a Dragon Claw, but he definitely liked this attack much better...
Chloe looked to her Pokedex for a moment before she recognized the attack, "Draco Meteor, huh?" she smiled. Cael had a smilar move, she recalled.

So that meant that Mikami was finished with his training, Chloe realized with a wide grin. That was one more down for her planned team on taking on the Elite Four. She'd have to return him to the PC for a while, however, she realized. There were still several other Pokemon in her storage that she needed to train.
"Thanks a ton, Mika, I'm sure we'll have some tough battles for you soon," Chloe laughed, recalling the Flygon as she retraced her steps back to the Pokecenter to warm up a bit, as well as to get a new partner.
She entered the center, shaking off the light layer of snow that had collected on her coat, and made her way to the PC.
"Man, it'll be weird not having Mika along..." she murmured, depositing the Flygon's Pokeball into the PC. It took her a minute to make her choice, but she settled on the Aron Brayden had given her a while back.
"He said her name was Enyo..." Chloe murmured, recalling their conversation back when he had handed over the Pokeball.

"Good to have you with us," Chloe greeted once she had called out the small iron-eater from her Pokeball. Enyo yawned, nodding to Chloe, before looking around the Pokecenter. Thankfully she wasn't really looking for any metal to eat, Chloe realized after a nervous moment. The last thing she wanted was to explain to Nurse Joy why she was missing half of her medical supplies...
Chloe clipped Enyo's Pokeball to her belt, done with her party rearranging for a while. The next one she'd have to swap out would be Dai.
"But that won't be for a long while yet," she realized.

"Haha, no problem, I was able to train Mikami soon after leaving the Pokecenter, and it looks like he's strong enough, so I came back in to swap someone new into my party," Chloe grinned, motioning the the strangely colored Aron at her feet.
"This is Enyo," Chloe explained, "Brayden caught her a while back, but he wasn't really interested in training steel or rock types. He wanted to slowly focus more on water types. I had wanted to train an Aggron, so he gave her to me," she smiled.
"I just haven't had the chance to put her into my party until now. There are still a bunch more sitting in my box that I need to train," she admitted sheepishly.
"But I guess the best way to tackle it is to do a little at a time. So Enyo here will be with me for a while," she laughed.

Chloe nodded, "That's been kinda my plan. Kaz was the first to reach his limit, and since then I've been swapping out new Pokemon as my party members grow."
"Well, we could train a bit together if you want?" Chloe offered.
Enyo looked up to Julian as she was addressed, "Anything's better than sitting in storage," she snipped simply. Although after a moment, she realized that the human speaking to her was doing so in her own tongue. That was enough to cause her to pause.
"Why do you speak like a Pokemon?" she inquired, trying not to let her curiosity show too much.

"Haha, well, at least it's not a negative effect," Chloe reasoned with a faint smile, "I've always been envious of Kaya and those who can speak the same language with their Pokemon. I can still somewhat determine what they're saying, but its more by tone than anything else," she explained.
"I'll be okay outside for a while, though," she grinned, "I figure some training might be better than just standing out in the snow, but I know I won't be able to stay out there forever. I'd be a popsicle if I attempted that."

As he spoke he let go of her and grabbed his jacket, putting it on quickly. While Julian was talking to Chloe a trainer walked into the pokemon center and a wild Noctowl snuck in at the same time. The bird pokemon dove towards Juliand he dodged out of the way before sending out Hizashi. "Hizashi use last resort!" He commanded and the Espeon glowed slightly as it hit the owl. The wild owl shook off the attack and countered with a peck attack. Hizashi stumbled slightly before using last resort again, felling the wild pokemon. Julian walked over to hizashi and healed him with a potion. "Good job." he told him and decided to leave him out of his pokeball but called Rose back to her's before walking back over to Chloe. "I guess the pokemon just couldn't wait to train." He siad with a slight chuckle.

"True," Chloe smiled, bringing Lucrezia from her shoulder to hold the Buneary instead. Lucrezia didn't seem to mind, although she seemed to be relatively quiet. Chloe couldn't help but smile, it would be strange for a while not having an insane Flygon to worry about.
"Lilie, mind returning to your Pokeball for a bit?" Chloe asked the Chikorita, who didn't seem to mind too much. After all, she liked watching the snow, but didn't really like like being out in it.
She figured Enyo would be alright in the snow considering her resistance. Her only worry was that the little Aron was kinda small.
"Will you be alright?" she asked, "I don't wanna lose you in a snowdrift or something," she grinned. Enyo let out a metallic laugh, before concentrating for a moment. Reversing her magnetism was childsplay, and soon, the little Aron was hovering several feet in the air.
"No problem," she chimed, although Chloe couldn't understand her speech like Julian, she could still catch the smirk in Enyo's tone.
"Huh, that's a nifty trick..." Chloe murmured, stepping under the Aron, looking up at Enyo with a smile, "Never seen a flying Aron before. Guess we're off then, huh?" with that, Chloe ventured from the warmth of the Pokecenter, heading back outside into the gently falling snow. Lucrezia huddled contently in her arms, and a strangely hovering Aron floating along behind her.

"Being made out of metal has its perks," Enyo chimed back to Julian, grinning as she floated along behind Chloe, who turned, smiling at the Aron.
"I agree, training's better than sitting around doing nothing, but I do wish the others would meet up with us soon," Chloe agreed easily to Julian's comment, "An island in the south beats snowy cities anyday in my book," she joked with a grin.

Chloe heard the Snover up ahead before she saw it. And even then, she wasn't able to discern the Pokemon from the snow and underbrush around it until it moved. It certainly did blend in well with the city.
"Well now, guess its our turn to train a little," she smiled. She was about to send out Entreri, but surprisingly, Enyo darted ahead of her, still floating.
"I want to try!" she declared in her own tongue happily as she raced to investigate the Snover.
"Gah, Enyo! Wait!" Chloe called to the Aron, but that turned out to only draw the Snover's attention to the charging Enyo. The Aron reversed her magnetism, plopping into the snowbanks with a metallic clang as she hit the pavement somewhere beneath the snow. Both Chloe and the Snover lost sight of Enyo as she vanished under the pile of snow.
"Ah, great..." Chloe sighed, not really looking forward to digging the Aron out. That would be like finding a needle in a haystack, she realized.
Chloe stepped forward, hoping the Snover wasn't too perturbed by the small Pokemon. Thankfully, the ice grass dual seemed more confused than angry, still looking for Enyo. Chloe settled herself to finding the Aron before it did, however.
"Enyo, where are you?" she called, hearing a few metallic clinks from beneath the pile of snow, but it was impossible to tell where they were coming from. Her answer came a short bit later when Enyo suddenly burst from the snowbank, charging headfirst into a lamppost, sending a shockwave up the metal post that very nearly broke the light up top.
"Aw, wrong way!" Enyo declared, not really seeming injured at all, despite the fact that there was a rather noticeable dent in the base of the post...
"What are you doing?" Chloe asked, baffled.
"Gonna fight! Protect you!" Enyo retorted, although Chloe couldn't understand her. She turned a one eighty, aiming at the Snover still seated in the snow, before charging back into the snowbank before Chloe could catch her.
"AH! No, don't attack it!" Chloe called, fumbling for Enyo's Pokeball, but it was too late, a split second later the Snover went flying through the air, as Enyo demonstrated a rather impressive Superpower.

Chloe winced, seeing the attack hit, and prepared to scoop up Enyo and run for her life to try to get away from an enraged Snover (although she really didn't stop to think that the Aron easily weighed over a hundred pounds...).
But a moment later, Enyo popped up from the snowbank, using another Magnet Rise, floating over the snow until she lowered herself back down again in front of Chloe.
"Ron! Aron!" she declared decisively with a grin, as Chloe looked to where the Snover was stumbling off, dazed and more than a little confused.
"Geez, where'd you learn that one?" Chloe muttered.
