Silentcloud nods soldemly to his leader then turns to gather his patrol. Whitewind waits for Rainpaw to finish her prey, getting up in a luxurous streatch, then taping her shoulder with his tail.
"We need to hurry. Silentcloud will send another partol soon."

Whitewind nods to her, then sets off in the direction of the camp.

Rainpaw followed the older cat back to camp.

Showerstar waited patiently for Whitewind and Rainpaw.
He eventually was able to taste faint traces of their scent,
and he smiled to himself.

Silentcloud pads up to his leader right when Whitewind and Rainpaw come through the entrance. Whitewind stops infront of them, ears back like an apprentice who knew had done something wrong.
"I'm sorry we took so long. Rainpaw made an amazing catch and she already knows many of the forest scents. She's doing well."
His ears stand staight at the last part, voice echoing his pride in the young cat.

Showerstar nodded. He leapt on top of the huge ( rock, log??)
and sat down. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey here for
a clan meeting!" He called for the first time, his Golden eyes glowing.

Whitewind looks after his leader, suprised slightly, but goes to take his place near the rock. 'He must have choosen Rainpaws mentor.' he thought to himself. Silentcloud pads over, taking his place at the base of the rock, gaze unyeilding.

Rainpaw was confused. What would Showerstar want? She padded up to the rock and sat behind all the cats.

"The time is come for Rainpaw to be officially apprenticed."
Showerstar's voice rang out loud and clear, his Golden eyes show pride.
"Whitewind, you are w loyal warrior with great skills, you will
mentor Rainpaw. I know you will pass on the same skills
to Her." He finished, his eyes glowing at Rainpaw.

Whitewind looks up at his leader in suprise and, after a moment, pads to stand before the high rock and touches noses with his new apprentice, bewildered but happy, pride and excitement shining in his eyes. Silentcloud's eyes glint in the darkness of the rock's shadow, glowering angerly at the white warrior.

Whitewind lets out a purr as he and his new apprentice retreat to the edge of the throng of cats, Silentcloud's burning gaze following the new mentor all the way, cold and hatefull.
