I CHOOSE CHOICE B Ruelash 9hp The dream had been stressful so far, and Ruelash wanted to be out of the terrifying place. Not that he was aware of the dream as a dream, but he knew it could end. He needed it to end. Suddenly, though, things turned for the better - battle raged around him, his element and home. He whooped and gave in to the battle-madness, cutting down anyone in his way. What did he care about sides? What did he care about motives? All he wanted was blood and death and violence and pain, and he got it. He killed and killed, and his next target soon emerged. He came down on them, only belatedly realizing that it was... "Volka?!" he pulled back just in time, "What're ye doin' out here?" He knelt to her level, "You ain't ready for this yet!" he made to pick her up... only to feel a piercing pain in his neck. "Guh?" Hot blood coursed down his chest. "Ch... Chi's breath..." he said, somehow able to speak, somehow able to be alive. She'd stabbed him. He could see the hard light in her eyes. "G-guess ye are." He blocked her next attack, and then the next. "But serious, hold up... h-hold up...!" She kept attacking him and he didn't want to hurt her, but she was starting to piss him off..."Hey! Come on!" she stabbed him in the liver and he fell to the ground. "Augh! Hey!" Clearly, little Volka was playing for keeps. He was proud, but he also knew he needed to fight back, to strike back, to show her how real grown ups fought... he stood up, bracing himself to block her next blow... and suddenly he couldn't move. He was frozen in a defensive posture. He couldn't attack her. He couldn't speak. He could only watch as she attacked him, again and again, and he, miraculously, lived...

I CHOOSE CHOICE C Votzhem 15 hpVotzhem had won, he'd won, he'd... He heard screams. His first instinct, as the battle became clear, was that he needed to find his wife and fight beside her. He knew where she would be - amidst the most insane cluster of dead and dying. And there she was - gleaming like a goddess of battle, so beautiful and terrifying. She wasn't the woman he loved when she fought - she was that woman transcended. Awe inspiring. "Iroia!" he called, and she turned her burning, green gaze on him. She leapt from her tower of bodies like a cat and, the air buzzing around her like an aura of violence, stepped lithely towards him. Predatory. Fierce."Iroia?" He pulled up his blades to block her attack, "Iroia! No! It's me!" Could she not see that it was him? Were they even on the same side? Was she going to kill him? He couldn't let that happen, as surely as he couldn't obey Aisha's will and fight her. "Iroia! Stop!" he tried to pull her in for a tight hug, to try to bring her down from her divine hight, back to the mortal world. Back to him. "Iroia, please, it's me... I need you... I can't do this alone..." Do what alone? Need her for what? He knew, but he couldn't say. He just needed her...

Aylin Post 7 - Choice C HP: 3 I CHOOSE CHOICE C Aylin strode over to Marlaya with a smile, congratulating her on her success with a pat on the back. “You looked amazing Marla, I can’t believe you got the hang of it so quickly!” Although her words were encouraging, Aylin felt only discouraged. She would take a break from the training for now, perhaps some other time she could return to this clearing and try her hand at riding again…
Lost in her own thoughts, Aylin didn’t initially notice that the trainer and Marlaya were become distorted, but her attention was caught by the cry of the janarim as their setting changed once again. Her eyes turned to where Marlaya and the janarim once stood. No. The flames had made their way back, smoke distorting her friend as she crumpled before her, arms reaching out for help. No. Aylin looked past her fallen friend in terror, locking eyes with a soldier all too familiar. No. The young Oban rushed towards her, a hatred-filled snarl escaping his lips as he raised his sword to strike. Not again! Electricity coursed through her arms, terror replaced with rage as a bolt of lightning left her fingertips, striking the soldier down.
She was running, running from those lifeless eyes and into the fray of battle. Aylin pushed her way through the carnage around her, raw magic feeding her anger as she struck down faceless enemies. They were changing, Oban features elongating and skin distorting to become Alkidikes. She no longer knew where she was, except it must be Jauhar; were these the Extremists? Aylin turned and turned, dizzied by the overwhelming rage she felt within her own heart and the ferocity of the battle she found herself in.
The Alkidikes advancing on her to the right suddenly cried out in anguish, disappearing into smoke. A figure stepped forward through the flames, his dark skin unharmed by the magic swirling in an almost palpable aura around him. Aylin froze, shocked out of the rage that had consumed her, “Biroki?!” But the look in her mentor’s eyes was not one of recognition- she saw only the same burning anger that had filled herself. Terrified, Aylin did the best to defend herself from his attacks and reach him with her words, desperate to break him out of this trance, knowing she was no match for the experienced sage.[WC: 391]

V'demhePost 7 - Choice C HP 12I CHOOSE CHOICE C Sounds of battle were something she was used to. Though she'd never actually used the sharp side of her blades against anyone she knew or cared about. Mostly she'd managed to knock them out before things got too serious. However, when she faced off against Virain and it looked like he didn't know who she was, Dem stared at him. There was no way he would intentionally hurt her. Not that it mattered, she'd never lift her blades against him. So when he came at her she tried to talk to him, make him see reason, but at the same time she didn't want to get injured so she had to dodge whatever he threw at her.

HuyanaPost 7 - Choice B HP 16I CHOOSE CHOICE B Fighting wasn't something he did. Huyana was a lover. The chaos of the battle raging around him certainly inspired that fire within him but even so he didn't react with violence. Not even when he came face to face with Eirlys. She had a look in her eyes that said she didn't recognize him and it hurt Huy to see that but when she came at him he let her hit him. Over and Over again. What was he supposed to do? Not only was she a close friend, someone he cared about, but she was a woman. There was no way he'd fight against her even if he could.

Jacinthus - Post 7 HP: 9 I CHOOSE CHOICE B As the scene changed yet again Jacinthus found himself in the midst of a bloody battle, something that actually made his heart sink for a moment. Another battle? Another war? Who was it against this time? How he was starting to find war after war to be tiresome in his 'old age' he thought to himself before he forced himself to take a step back. He needed to fight, not about to let anyone beat him, but hadn't he lost his weapon in the fall? How was he supposed to fight without his bow? Wait... his bow... looking down at his hands Jacinthus was surprised to find that not only did he have his trust bow in hand he actually had an arrow notched and at the ready. Not expected, but welcome, at least that meant he would be able to fight.
Starting forward Jacinthus sent arrows flying at those trying to attack him, taking down his opponents left and right with ease, that was until he found himself stand across from instead of side by side with, Takoda. He felt a pain in his chest as though he'd been hit with one of his own arrows as he saw his mate starring at him with a look that spoke volumes, he was going to fight him? That couldn't be right... right? He wouldn't! A desperate thought that got an answer a moment later as Takoda sent a spell flying at him, one that collided with Jacinthus before it threw him backwards.
He pushed himself up to his feet, looking toward his mate again, only to get hit by another spell. He could fight back, should fight back, but instead he allowed himself to be pummeled with spell after spell. He couldn't do it, couldn't raise a hand to Takoda, and if it were his mate that killed him in the end then so be it...

Chalcedony - Post 7 HP: 17 I CHOOSE CHOICE C Another battle had sprung up and Chalcedony couldn't say that he was all that surprised. There always seemed to be someone that wanted to start up a fight but it wasn't something that he was just going to stand by and allow. He had to stop this, even if it meant having to go into battle yet again, to fight and kill, even if those things weighed heavily on him. His hand went to his back where his shield was located, not even questioning the fact that it had suddenly appeared, and with a great roar he went charging forward, knocking aside opponent after opponent. He wanted to get this done with as quickly as possible, even if that meant having to be rougher then he'd like, and to have to use the shield he preferred to protect others with in a different manner.
Foe after foe fell before him, everything sort of fading into a bit of a red haze for the shield barer... at least until he found himself standing across from someone, no two someones, who were far too familiar, "Ahh...? What... no..." It wasn't possible, was it? Why were they here? Why were they fighting against him? He couldn't really say but he knew that there was nothing more important in this moment then to try to hold his sons off until he could talk some sense into them.
Pushing forward against the relentless assault of Chandra's magic and Aysun's lance he called out, "You don't have to do this! Drop your weapons and we can go home!" As much as he wanted to end the fight quickly he knew he couldn't raise his weapons against them no matter what. Instead he had to get through to them and get all three of them home, preferably all in one piece.

Dexurn- Post 7HP 8 I CHOOSE CHOICE C It wasn’t his victory, though it should have been. He was happy for his partner, but.. he didn’t feel like trying anymore. Maybe later... He was sad as the world seemed to blend. As it was becoming clear again, his heart leapt into his throat. How did he end up on a battlefield again? Was there another war?! To his surprise, he was charging through the enemy quite easily, feeling as though he’d successfully been through many battles.
Cutting down a larger enemy, he was shocked to see his dear friend charging at him. Were they truly so angry with him? Was it something about the war? Why were they on the wrong side?! No!
Bringing his arm up, his cutting weapon turned into his shield to block each blow as he tried to get his friend’s attention. They’d have to stop once they realized it was him, right?

Rhonann- Post 7HP 8 I CHOOSE CHOICE A It felt like it took ages, but in the end, Rhonann was tall and proud on the beast. She’d done it! Of course she had! Now she was earning the trainer’s smile, and the partner’s jealous glances. She felt like she was on top of the world!
As the training grounds blended away, she stumbled off the janarim, barely keeping her feet. It was a good thing she did though. When she straightened up, her sword came up to fed against an attack. She couldn’t quite recall what she was fighting for, but she knew it was right! She tore through the enemy, pausing only when she found herself facing down a familiar set of eyes. She could tell this precious person couldn’t see who she was. This person was ready to kill her!
The thought only added to Rho’s anger, and she charged forward with a sharp war cry. She would show them for facing her like that!

Faamy- Post 7HP 9 I CHOOSE CHOICE B The anger burned in her chest, disgusted with her partner. Faamy was ready to never look back at this stupid idea or her stupid partner. She was almost happy to see the training grounds melt away. Good! Be gone!
When she next looked around though, he found herself in the middle of a huge battle. The anger still bubbling in her chest, in was now directed at those fighting her. She felt like she had the strength of ten of her!
All that strength vanished when she saw a dear friend in front of her. Did they not recognize her? Couldn’t they see? She let out a howl of anger... but she couldn’t raise her weapon. Not to that person... Instead, she took the hit, wondering what she’d done to be so hated.
