"True, but I just need it's crystals. Those could show up anywhere, just like the ring itself." Replied Eca, she blinked when Mina leaned back, noticing the small bump of a lower belly she had. "That can't be just food. What happened to you?"

Eca tilted her head. "Hmm, really?" She picked up a crystal and began to poke Mina's round stomach with it. She was rejected on the spot, with the crystal bouncing right off. "Oh well, look like it took from what collected in a corner. Maybe twenty five as an estimate."

As she hung over Mina, her necklace fell from her shirt. Chained to it was a blue frost crystal. Just being that close, she could feel it being tugged into what might as well have been Mina's gravity field. "Oh no, you're not taking this one, it's special to me." Eca answered as she watched Mina's stomach begin to glow blue, the same blue as her frost crystal.

"I would only assume so. If that's true, this must be the thing she was working on after all. I remember being told at the breeding home that the thing was incomplete. It needed more crystals of al kinds, which neither of us had. I never even seen the black rock crystals outside of the diagrams." Answered Eca, she shook her head when Mina moved away for her sake. She continued to poked her with a crystal while holding up the blue one every so often to experiment.

"You no longer to a set number of red crystals but it still reacts to my blue one. Can't really get it those unless we looked for them on Tres." Explained Eca, thinking it over, she pocketed both crystals and gave Mina's stomach a pat.

"We better stay away from those till you're ready to put on a bit more weight."

"Legitimate question, but I couldn't answer that. For you, reason one, no ultra sound, couldn't make one either without knowing it's workings. Reason two, I have no idea what it is your having, that thing is a new species. And reason three...." Eca poked at her stomach, watching it jiggle and wobble. "It's kinda feels formless" She answered, she did it one more time to get it out of her system and giggled. "Okay, I'll stop now. Well I better finish perfecting these wings, I'll see you in the morning Mina." She waved to her and headed back to go finish it.

The next day, things ran through their daily routine. Concept grew once again and sent Mina racing to the bathroom, nothing out of the ordinary. The trio did wake up bright and early to head out of town. All but Eca, whom was up all night working on Mina's armor, as well as another small project. She was half awake as they continued their journey.

"Sleepy sleepy." She mumbled, leaning on Eric for support.

"Forgive me if I couldn't help myself. There were just so many crystals." She whined. "And ideas, so many ideas, so little time..."

"Is that suitcase one of your ideas? Asked Eric, pointing to the elongated silver case Eca clutched in her hand by the handle. She tiredly nodded her head. "Mmmhmm, you'll see..." She paused for a yawn. "Later..."

Shaking his head, Eric picked her up and slipper the inventor over his shoulder. He then turned to Mina. "Try not to get sleepy too?"

"Well it makes for a good alarm, doesn't have a snooze button." He replied to Mina. Her child gently kicked in her womb.

Eric blinked his eyes. He didn't like the sound of that, truth be told that scared him some. What was to make of their future lives, if they would be together or not. "What do you mean by practice?" He asked as his eyes switched every so often from her smiling face to her hands playing with her baby, her child played with her as well. It pressed as strong as it could against her hand.
