Dude that is only a twenty-seven piece army. Can you function with that few pieces against Orcs or something with an overwhelmingly large piece count?

Lord Godwin Dude that is only a twenty-seven piece army. Can you function with that few pieces against Orcs or something with an overwhelmingly large piece count? Grey Knights are always out-numbered. I included three incinerators. It might be better if I gave my Terminators powers like Holocaust (Use a template, Strength 5 hit. HQ choices can have it by default though). I was thinking of including more.
I'd think my units T4/3+ save on Grey Knights or 2+ save on Terminators. Plus you have to roll to see if you can even target Grey Knights.
But yeah, boy heavy Orks would be a problem since they'd probably tie me up in close combat.

That's how you kill them. Mobs. Hordes and hordes of boys are gonna be able to slog their way through the gunfire and rape you in combat. I like the Acolyte that you've got there for you Inquisitor, though I still believe that you should be taking more. They're not -horribly- expensive and they provide additional saves and attacks in CC. The Plasma Cannon is a great addition. However, for the sake of ranging, I'd suggest that the MM Gun Servitor take up a Heavy Bolter.
For anything, I'd suggest that you drop Stern and use the points to buy more Grey Knights. Yes, he's a good character, but more troops will be more useful.
The Multi-Melta on a Crusader isn't Twin Linked, either.

I dunno. Stern has Hammerhead and Holocaust, which means he can take out vehicles. He also gets the potential to one-hit-kill asince his Nemesis force weapon is counted as being wielded a grand master.
The only thing I could think of exchanging Stern for was Cadian Snipers or Inquisitorial Storm Troopers. My armies kind've inflexible when it comes to adding additional units. I already gave my Vindicare the ax.

Are you even allowed to take Cadian Snipers? As far as I thought you could only take Troops and Fasts with the ally rules, though I haven't seen the pages in a long while.

I think so. I read online various strategies do, but I know not everyone follows the exact rules. Uh..let's see here. I know you can take a Special Support Squad for 35 points and upgrade to sniper rifles for 10 points per model. It's under HQ for some reason. I can use Ratlings under Elites, but the models are so ugly that I'd just substitute Cadians with Ratling stats...
However, I suppose it would be better to take Inquisitorial Storm Troopers anyway.

Guard Special Weapon squads are deployed as a part of the primary Command Platoon. Individual heavy weapon teams are deployed in with the independent squads. Guard HQs can be ridiculously model heavy with a massive number of heavy weapons, Sentinels, etc.

Serebrate I updated my Grey Knight Army to include more shooty and more units, anyone care to look and review it? First, you are really grasping for points there. If you're not going to take advantage of Corteaz's four henchmen of one type, you're best with a regular Inquisitor Lord. Similarly, you've got a scattering blast weapon, an Anti-Armor stationary gun with a 24" range, and a medium range Anti-Infantry Weapon. Either swap out the Melta for another HB, or drop the HB for some greater firepower [I believe the one limit is only on Plasma Cannons]. Stern, at his cost and stats, is worth his price I believe [been a while since I last looked in the codex], so he's fine. Terminator Squad / Bodyguard is fine. Grey Knight Squads are fine, but you're relying on very little fire support as of this point. The Dread is very nice, but you're going to need something else to pick up the slack in Anti-Armor. While the Multi-Servitors sounds nice, you have to realize that they're not going to be much help against things like Land Raiders and Monoliths as they'll never get in firing range in time to destroy them efficiently unless. They might work as a nice fire magnet or guider to enemy land raiders though as they'll still be a threat if they attempt to unload close by. The Crusader is alright, but you're again going to be crippled greatly against enemy armor. If you can, I'd say perhaps drop it out for another Dread and a Purgation squad with as many Psycannons you can shove in.

I'm revising it by adding Storm Troopers in a Chimera. I figured I'd subtract the Inquisitor because unless I'm fighting Chaos or Daemons he won't be of too much use. The two firing hatches on the Chimera can let me fire from cover using my plasma or meltas.
