Jade allowed Cody to pick up his weapons. Her first act was of moving her arm out to the side, in an order to let Tachi know, and everyone else, that they should back up. This was going to get hectic. For a moment, she just stood there, and the next her Kage robes had been thrown up into the air, as well as the hat. She ran to the left of Cody, and jumped into the air, unsheathing one of scythe like blades just barely. Her body spun, bringing her leg down like an ax over Cody's shoulder. Jade had given him the ultimatum, he had chosen unwisely.

That was exactly what Jade had been hoping for. Cody had rushed in, forgetting that she was not just a good close range fighter. She merely ducked under the first blade, letting it sail past her head as she hopped backward and up. Her hands came together so quickly, meshing seals together. Jade took in a deep breath, and released a giant fireball towards Cody. Not only was this close range, the attack was strong and the heat was intense. When it impacted, it would kick up sand, and scorch Cody badly if he did not dodge or counter. When Jade landed on the ground, her eyes drained to the bloodred of the Sharingan, not wanting to take chances with Cody's mangekyo. Her hands came together once more, in preparation for another attack.

Jade saw the gale come towards her, immediately wrapping her scarf around her head as the sand began to pick up. The visibility was low, so Cody wouldn't have been able to catch this one. Jade jumped as high as she could into the sky, and created an elemental trio of clones, which crossed their arms over each others, giving Jade a platform to jump on even higher. She planted her foot on their arms, and launched herself into the air again, using Shunko to literally jump on a dust particle, which had her high in the air. Due to how close they were, the jutsu did not have much space to travel and expand, which had allowed Jade to pretty much fly. She formed more seals, and opened her mouth, a hilt of fire was sticking out. She reached in with both hands, and literally pulled out a spear of fire from her mouth. She began to let herself fall, and spin. This was building up her momentum. Using the sharingan to help her calculate the correct time, Jade released the staff, and sent it flying through the air at top speeds. The jutsu itself was fast enough, plus how fast she had thrown it, and the momentum she had used to do it, the spear was flying ridiculously fast.

Jade had seen this technique once before, when training with Cody. She had failed to copy it, but now was not the time for that. What she did was turn her back to him while free-falling, performing quick seals, allowing the ball to get closed to her. She aimed straight at it, colliding with it and causing a large explosion in the air. What she had done was switch with a rock that was nearby, which caused the explosion. The visibility was already bad, plus the smoke from the explosion would allow Jade to land safely, without being seen. She immediately created a dust clone, who grabbed three death wind shuriken off of her body, and launched them out at Cody, each being controlled with a string. The shuriken were coming from a direction south west of Cody, behind and off to the left. Jade herself took the time to disappear, and formulate a plot. She had to do something that Cody had never seen, something to literally make him regret coming here.

Doton: Bakuyaku Iwa Kawarimi (Earth Release: Explosive Stone Body Replacement)
Description: This jutsu replaces the body with a large stone or even a boulder, using Kawarimi no Jutsu. There is a rather dangerous difference though, the boulder that replaces the stone-nin’s body is explosive and if struck explodes with the force of an explosive note.
