Hasta grinned, his fangs showing, "you seem to be mistaken, my dear," in the blink of an eye they were in the shadow realm. the music was gone and they were all alone, "if one of us were to be an assassin," he disappeared into the shadows, reappearing right behind her, his lips next to her ear, "it would be me." he vanished again, returning to in front of her and taking her hands once more as they returned to the dance floor as if nothing had happened, "but if you feel better to think that way, then please do."

Leo looked around and saw an elderly woman standing with her husband to one side, watching the dance. he smiled and approached them, "forgive me, but would you hold our baby while we have this dance?" Leo looked down at Yuki who was watching the woman curiously. she looked surprised for a moment before smiling and nodding. Leo lowered Yuki into her wizened hands and watched as she and Yuki studied each other for a moment. Yuki finally smiled and the woman held him against her side so he could see Leo and Elliot. "shall we dance, husband mine?" Leo asked, holding his hand out to Elliot.

Oliver lowered his head again, whispering, "I apologize."

Ambrose was waiting for the children and smiled when they came out. she was wearing warmer clothing as well, her cloak was silver with blue snowflakes embroidered along the edges. "let's go!"

George was wearing the same cloak as Ambrose, but the colors were reversed. "you kids lead the way, we'll follow, but stay in our sight."

Nix nodded, "of course! where do we go?" she didn't know either.

Pix pouted a little, that did look comfortable. she'd ride him later, in a far more 'comfortable' manner. she grinned as they returned to the dance floor, her hips swaying to the music, causing more than a few men to stare, "hmm, how about those not dancing with Henry find partners and make henry jealous?"

Kiara smiled a little, "that sounds like fun. Fyr, he's yours, ladies, let's find ourselves partners." there was a human already looking at her and she slipped over and inclined her head before they started to dance.

Pix grinned and found the biggest, brawniest human she could to dance with, his hands nearly circling her waist as they moved together.

Hasta bowed as she left, knowing he had gone too far, but it was ok. he wasn't going to go after her or anything like that. he walked to where he could sense Yuki and saw him quite happy in the arms of an older human. he considered for a moment before moving to sit beside her, his back against the wall as he watched Leo and Elliot dance. the woman looked at him for a moment, but knew he had been helping with the babe earlier, so let him sit there.

Leo smiled as he moved closer to Elliot, dancing carefully as he learned the different steps, "i don't think your plan worked out." he nodded to where the poor maid was storming away, "you need to apologize to her later."

Oliver hurried to help Yashweh up, brushing the snow off of him. this was going to be a long night if the prince kept this up....

the evening ran late, but soon everyone was on their way home. some were going quickly for a bit of more passionate dancing before falling asleep while other simply sat and held each other happily. it was a night that would go down in the histories of the world, the night Falia not only opened it's door but joined with another country. a night where humans and creatures of magic danced and laughed together as they did in days of old. This night began the changing of the world.

Leo opened his eyes a little and groaned as the sunlight hit them, closing them right away. they had finally collapsed into bed as the sun rose and it wasn't more than a few hours in the sky. there was no way he was waking up just yet.

Oliver had ended up guiding Yashweh to his bed and undressing the prince completely. of all the others, he was the least tired, used to working far more than this with hardly any food or sleep. he tucked the prince into bed and went to sleep at the foot, where a slave like him belonged.

Nix ended up sleeping with Annabelle, their earlier fight forgotten as they snuggled under the covers. Her parents had gone home, but would come and get her in a few days.

Tsume smirked and ran his hand along Kashi's a**, "you were the one begging for it harder." he kissed the hare's shoulder and snuggled closer, their naked bodies fitting together perfectly, "not that i minded. you are sexy when you scream." he kissed a suck mark on Kashi's shoulder, "i'm sure they will forgive everyone for putting of the cleaning for a day. Leo himself is feeling pretty close to what you are right now."

Pix blinked awake, looking at the pile of women, each clinging to an arm or a leg, she herself had claimed his torso. she smiled and the lips of the sleeping man, knowing he would get used to them.

Kiara was awake, Henry's arm nestled between her breasts. she smiled and saw Pix was awake, winking a little at the woman, though a small blush came to her cheeks as she remembered the part Pix had in counting the twelve different shades of blue across her body the night before.

Oliver jumped a little at the voice right next to him. he moved away, his eyes still blurry with sleep, but trying to look like he was completely awake, "i'm sorry, master, i'll start breakfast right away-" his vision cleared and he saw Yashweh had been sleeping on the floor beside him again. he let out a tiny sigh and took a deep breath to calm himself before bowing, "shall i retrieve your breakfast, your majesty?"

Nix woke and smiled a little, "i'm sure the staff are just as tired as everyone else, we might have a simple breakfast today."

Tsume chuckled and rolled on top of Kashi, pinning him down with a kiss, "mmm, you were watching me too, weren't you? did it make you jealous to see me dancing with others? i know watching you dance with the prince sent my blood boiling."

Pix smiled, Henry seemed fond of petting her and she wasn't about to break the habit, "mmm, how about a little play before the nap? have to earn your rest, don't you?"

Kiara giggled softly, "that will be interesting, shall we make it a game? see if we can finish without waking the others?"

Oliver nodded and knelt, waiting, "please tell me if you wish for me to get your breakfast, sir." until then, he would wait.

Nix yawned and nodded, "probably. want to go and check it out? i wonder if Martha ever came back..."

Tsume grinned, his hands moving lower on Kashi's body, "i don't think you are going to be able to help with the cleaning today."

Pix pouted a little, "damn. she's right there, isn't she...though, that could prove interesting." she wiggled her eyebrows before settling against Henry's chest, pressing against him, "but i can wait."

Kiara moved up a bit so Henry's hand was in a good position as she kissed the man, "i can't. this pregnancy is making me desire you more and more, Henry. i fear i may be insatiable."

Oliver lowered his gaze, "i served in the palace since i was sold, disobediance was not tolerated." an arm slide up the other and he hugged himself, "our punishments for even the smallest mistakes were-" he shook his head, "every day i was beaten, when the masters were bored i was whipped and tormented for their enjoyment. the other servants and slaves took out their frustrations and angers on me. i disobeyed my master once," he looked up into Yashweh's eyes, the memory of his punishment fresh, "even with everything i went through one a daily basis, i nearly went mad with the pain-i swore i would never give them reason to hurt me like that again."

Tsume chuckled, "much later-" ((time skip for them too))

Oliver's fake smile, the one he always wore when a slave, slipped across his lips, "Forgive me for not smiling properly, your Majesty. Justin is very good and his work, he had taught me many things." he bowed his head, "please go back to sleep, Majesty, you had a late night."

Nix frowned, "i hope she's ok." she shook her head a little, "we should have someone look for her." her eyes looked over Annabelle and she shrugged, "Why would they care. you are in your home, dress as you want. besides, it's not like you look indecent." she smiled and slipped her hand into her friend's "come on! let's go get food!"

Oliver couldn't help the small flinch when Yashweh's hand moved closer to him, the tap making him hunker down. his memories were too fresh, too close to the surface to not react in that way. "I am glad you think so, your majesty." what more? what could he do to distract this strange prince from himself. "is there anything you wish to do, sir?"

Nix slipped her hand into Anna's and walked down the hall to the kitchens with her. "i wonder if any of them will be up already, they had a long day yesterday and i saw a lot of them dancing right up until the end."
