((sorry i wasnt on yesterday, my power/internet were out all day. T^T ))
"Think of it as a 'back-up program'..." Jun said looking back up at their butterfly visitor. "When Jin and i were first made, we were made to have three different 'settings', if you will. We're typically in the 'standard' setting, though the other two are for emergency cases if we get in a fight we can't handle. I don't like using them though because it makes me feel less human than i already am, but what you saw back there was the second setting, and as for the third..." he paused and had a look on his face that said he was getting a grim mental picture. "...well, let's just say i hope i don't ever have to get that desperate...."
((also, dont know when i'll be on today since i've got a friend coming over after school))

I've been in a play, but the final performance is tonight at seven, so after that and the cast party, I should be free to go.)

Kate stood up, dusting off her elbows and her behind, before she realized that she was still in a hospital night gown. "Ugh. I'm sorry to bother you with more favors, Jun," she said, "but could you tell me where we are? I need to get home; I can't stay here in... in this," she finished finally.
As it was, she could look around and see a whole bunch of... city. Kate wasn't as much of an explorer/adventurer as Sheo was, and she was completely disoriented without her Humvee around her, on the street below. The Humvee had a GPS device, as well. Without that and the familiarity of the vehicle, unless they were in the immediate vicinity of her apartment (which they did not seem to be), she was lost.

"Not too far from the hospital..." Jun said standing up and wobbling a bit, supporting himself on an air conditioning vent. "I should have enough juice left to get you back to your apartment, though i don't know if i could come back for your car right away..." he said, still wiped from going into overdrive.

Kate brightened considerably. "You wait here," she commanded, walking to the nearest fire escape. "I'll get my car, you come on down, and we'll be right as rain and home in a minute," she told him, over her shoulder, before she turned to back down a ladder. "Just a sec," she said, "and I'll be right back."
Then she was descending to the street below.

Jun just smiled and slumped down against the vent, waiting patiently for Kate to come back.

Soon enough, Kate returned none the worse for wear. Vincent had not returned to claim her in Jun's absence, apparently. Her car swerved in from the opposite direction, and spun a one-eighty to park perfectly outside of the building Jun waited on. Kate couldn't help but flinch and cringe at the bullet holes still adorning the side of her beautiful, wonderful Humvee.
Jun might not have known it yet, but Kate and Sheo both gave one hell of a car ride.

Jun hopped onto a rain gutter and slowly made his way down before hopping into the car. "Don't expect the couch to be available when we get back. I always need a catnap after doing that..." he said referring to his hulk-ish mode.

Kate laughed. "There are three more couches in the... er, 'extra room' below my apartment," she said slowly, giving away Sheo's secret to yet more people. The Humvee interior was very stylish and comfortable. Outside, it was a bright red, with black tires, black handles, dark tinted windows, and a black bumper guard. Inside, black leather seats dominated, with white interior lights that shined no yellow glare against anything, but were bright and illuminating. The tires were very reliable, road-gripping textures, sturdy as well, and yet Kate had to replace them every two months or sooner. As all of this was taken in, Kate simply enjoyed the feel of the leather beneath her hands. The steering wheel was black, but held in a shiny black leather jacket as well, giving extra grip and preventing sweaty hands from slipping. The air conditioner ran, cooling them both off considerably. Suddenly, the Humvee began to move.
Or, 'move' might be the right word, if you consider hitting a speed of over ninety miles-per-hour in a couple seconds just 'moving.' Some might call it shooting, or launching, instead of just plain old 'moving.'
Kate jumped the nearest curve, driving straight through a busy grocery store parking lot, swerving around the building, and crashing through the back fence, right next to a hole in the fence she had made the previous day in a similar escapade, before driving up the cement slope to jump over the small railing meant to prevent cars from driving off of the freeway.
Soon the GPS navigational system was directing Kate directly back to her home, and they would arrive there in less than three minutes. And, in less than ten blinks of the eye.

the sudden speed was not what poor Jun wanted at the moment and he was currently gripping onto his seat with the fur on his ears and tail standing on end.

And then Kate was out of the car, which had stopped in a very short instant, right outside of the apartment. Kate was very anxious to make sure her apartment was still clean and in one piece. She rushed upstairs without waiting on Jun. Then, feeling stupid and guilty, Kate rushed back down and stood, red-faced, outside of the apartment door. Even if he hadn't realized it, Jun had done for her a much greater favor than simply preventing her from falling.
She said nothing as she waited for Jun, tensed in the case that she might have to rush to his side to help him. Kate did not show any sign of injury, herself.

((oh man, i have this urge to go attack a bush at my school and do that. XD ))
"No need to wait on me, im fine!" Jun said with a tired yet reassuring smile as he made his way up to the apartment, though he leaned on whatever he could on the way up.
