The Phoenix is mine so I don't need to worry about that, I know what Achikah's chimera will look like, and gryphons pretty much all look alike.
But the kraken and the manticore are difficult. Krakens can look like squid, or like octopi, or like some combination, some renderings have arms and/or look like cthulu, some have many arms, some have wings.
The manticore has a very strange and broad description itself. Body of a lion, face of a man, the tail is.... I don't know about the tail. Tail of a scorpion? Does it have barbs?
And how should they combine? I'm drawing a blank, so I just wonder if anyone has any preference or interesting ideas on how that might work out.
I was thinking maybe gryphon right arm, manticore left, chimaera upper torso, kraken lower torso and legs, and phoenix back and head.

That's true I have seen the Manticore with a scorpion tail and also with barbs. Personally I think the scorpian tail would be much cooler.
I think of the kraken from Pirates of the Caribbean. XD
Hmmm yeah I can definitely picture that combination.

Also, am I still drawing the ascension characters? I plan to start the sketch tomorrow. I will base it off of the character profiles as well as the tekteks. Specifically who am I drawing?
