Seig shook his head. " I'm continuing to the base. You can handle these pawns I'm sure. " He darted forward, neglecting to attack any of the nearby sentries. " Only a bit more. " The front line wall of the 1st defense base came into view on the Shadowen's main monitor.
"Codename : Ice. Tell me, what is it that you're fighting for? " A cool, distorted voice burped out over the intercom
Kano twitched and raised his eyes to the front door which led into the cockpit. " We should be arriving soon. "

The ensuing violence of what became known as "The First Landing", consumed the entire region as Anderson's forces broke through the Earth Unified Nation's terrestial forces and landed on easily defensable ground. It would also be marked as the beginning of the end....
((lol, seems like something you would find out of a history book. xp ))
Vector glided about on its thrusters as E.U.N.T.F (Earth Unified Nation Terrestrial Forces.) units attempted to fend off the unknown invaders. It easily eliminated all suits that opposed it, It was easy after all, they're just old military Leos. "How do they expect to repel us with such weak mobile suits?" Epyon said aloud. "They would be better off retreating to a defendable position. So much for them learning after what happened in space."

Katie understood the look all too well and nodded* ya we should be. I think you just had a falshback though unless you have the gift of premonitions though. it shouldn't bee too much trouble as long as you let me know who she is when we get there.

Seig shoved the thruster control forward as the front wall of the base came to a head. The Shadowen responded by propelling itself straight up, stopping only inches away from the surface. Rapid fire machine guns belched out rounds at the enemy suit as it scaled the base wall, small debits and pock marks forming in the wake of the Shadowen's speed.
As it summited the top of the wall, a beam slash fell down, grazing the Shadowen's left shoulder. Seig calmly responded by thrusting into the suit, disabling all attacks with it's beam saber, and slammed his own beam blade into the mid section. He then kicked the suit down and away just before it exploded, sending a massive chunk of molten steel which had previously been the wall, into the greenery below.
" Damn..." The entire interior of the base was heavily armored and guarded. Old age suits were lined up along the base wall, having apparently lured their Enemy into a perfect trap. " Heh... so they have some fight in them after all. Should be fun. "
The Thrusters flared on the Shadowen as well as the barrels of every gun, cannon, and missile pod of the enemy suits.
A door behind ice opened with a metalic grinding sound as the padding of heavy boots could be heard moving towards him. The person unbound his arms after setting a small tray directly behind the chair. After such was done, the padding of boots moved out of the room as the door shut and locked once again.
" We have had a meal prepared for you. We don't wish to kill you, nor starve you... only gain some information. Then you'll be free to go. " The voice was low, however, somehow truthful. " Now I'll ask once more, why are you fighting this war? "
Kano blinked as the back hatch door of the shuttle opened slowly. Sand driven by harsh winds beat against his body as he waited for the walkway to finally connect with the ground. He walked out of the shuttle as a group of men wearing hooded masks approached. " Sir, this way please. "

he points his eyes towards the ground "Because.....I was ordered to." he said with a straight face, lying to them because his reasons were personal. Ice just sat back down and ate his meal.

The glass shook for a moment as if someone had closed a door on the opposite side causing the air pressure to change.
" So, Preventor Ice. You have a few Options. You can Either Join us and share the information on the Preventors "Special Defense". We have heard about yet, yet know nothing of it... and we intend on getting that information from you. If you don't accept that offer, then we'll simply have to torture you until we gain the information we need... then dispose of you. "
The voice was that of a different person. It was cool and liquid. " You have tonight to sleep on the thought. " The speaker cut off and never turned back on as the glass shook only once more. Shortly after, the lights in the Cell which Ice was being held in shut out.
Anderson seated himself at the end of a very long table lined with men on each side. As he sat, a smirk grew across his lips in a jagged sinister fashion. " Alright gentlemen, Flatter me."

as Ice gets up and walks over to the bed, he smiles as he stashes the eating utensils he was given in his sleeve. "Idiots. If they had done their research properly they would know my reason for fighting is..." he lays down on the bed "...because his majesty Treize asked me to."

As the combined fire of the base squad defense unit plummeted for the Shadowen, it speed directly up. Seig was slammed violently back into the seat as he pushed the Shadowen's thrusters to limits he had dared not to even come close to before. Vibrations rattled through the cockpit as several of the non-seeking ballistics and cannons collided with the ground where the Shadowen had just previously been.
A series of heat seeking missiles sped up and tracked the Shadowen to just below it's feet. The Shadowen automatically retaliated by feeding tactics into Seig's body, his fingers twitching at the controls as his mind began to fade off, allowing the Shadowen to make the best possible choices without interference.
The Shadowen darted left and raight, it's heat rod and Beam saber batting away Missile after Missile. A few stray bullets collided with the left arm, knocking the heatrod off balance just long enough for cannon fire to find it's way through the defense and impact upon the underarm of the Shadowen.
It was no use. There was just too much fire for a human to be able to calculate and dodge.. there was only one option... the option which Seig had dreaded ever attempting again after the colony incident.
" Show them what you can do. "
With that, Seig shoved his conscious into the back of his mind and allowed Shadowen to take full control.
Kano was led into a large building which was almost completely invisible due to the amount of windblown sand around it. As he entered the building, the door shut behind him and Katie and standing before them, a large bearded man with narrowed eyes, arms tucked nicely behind his back, and a stern look upon his face.
After a moment, he smiled and saluted. " It's been a long time sir. What is it you require from us?."
Kano blinked, failing to return the salute. " Mobilize all your available units A-Sap. " He began to walk past the man. " Fred, take care of my Gundam. I need it repaired and you're the only one who knows how. "
The man which Kano has apparently called 'Fred' felt his eyes widen. "....That bad huh? " He stood erect, the group of soliders behind him still standing in attention as Kano walked past. " You heard the man! Unload that suit and move it to the maintenance area! Sound the alarm to mobilize our troops! Triple time."

with the arrival of angelwing to the hanger, Katie seemed to have her own crew awaiting her and on that crew an old friend of hers was there. Quatre and his backing for her mobile suit had made room for him to come himself and help out. *
*Quatre* hello again, its been a while hasn't it, things sure have changed. we know how you wnat things so leave the repaires to us!

" He won't break. He's too hardened for that. "
"I know..."
" Then you know that torture and submission are out of the question."
" Indeed. But we won't need to torture him.. he'll come around."
" How do you suppose we force him to do that?"
" We won't force him.. we'll show him the truth. "
Anderson found himself looking at a stack of papers. In which, he had located the cause and effect of this entire operation. " So, that's where they're hiding it. "
He smirked and stood up slowly. " We have found the Earth's only defense against us, and they know it. However... they too have only just located it. We must obtain this power for ourselves before these pitiful humans, and shape this world into a new age. " He slammed his fists on the table, his eyes wide in excitement. " I'll change this world with my bare hands! "
Kano blinked at the long forgotten, yet familiar face of Quatra. " What is someone like yourself doing in a place like this? " He questioned the young man. He had aged well over the past years of peace, still holding the same innocent smile and boyish looks.
Kano remembered a time in that instant where he had encountered the Gundams on his own. At that time, however.. he had been covertly working within OZ as a direct infiltration mission given by the head of the Earth defense force himself. He was lucky to get out of that incident alive without blowing his cover.
Heavyarms was attacking a nearby fleet at sea, one which held quite a bit of a load of enemy information which Kano was to obtain. If not for a keen sense of how to hide his heat signature within the icy depths of the ocean, and a bit of luck that the damned Leo held together under such high pressure, he wouldn't be standing here today.

I am doing well, thankyou, your crew is all set up ready to go. I thought I would come in person to set missKatie at ease. she worked with us for a while before comming here. I was the backing for her Angelwing. trowa wished he could come in person too but he was called away in these chaotic times. KAtie would remember him well. they used to work together. the years have been kind to you as well, i have also heard that Katie has been quite th help as of late. I appologize for any of her trouble. she used to be quite determined to have things her own way.* he looks over at katie who was giving him a glare and he just smiled at her and turned back to KAno* i decided that you needed the extra help and with the collony nearly finished i could afford to back this project as well.
