She wasn't suprised that Arya had recognized her. After all, she made a good impression on most of the people she met. Ayala gave a solemn nod when she had been announced as Ayala. Even though she couldn't exactly speak with the girl's collar in her maw, her tail shifted from left to right. Nakamura, I know you are busy, but I think it's time for you to tend to Arya. Ayala mentioned, waiting for her to finish what she was doing with Kusari.

She felt his lips leave her own, but instead pulled her close to his body. Her hands shifted to place her right wrist upon his sternum even through his solemn grip. His deserted whisper seeming to echo in her mind. He already knows about my eyes, but that doesn't mean I have to reveal everything. she thought to herself, thinking back to the clothes that she had left in the bathhouses.

When she was released from his grasp, it felt as if she had been set free from a net that withheld her movements. She didn't like that feeling and it only felt right with her wolves. "Her name is Arya." she said to Kusari with a nod, manuevering to the right in order to go around him to get to her.

"Arya, how are your wounds coming along. Can you send chakra through your body without pain now? Nakamura asked her solemnly, looking down at her face from over her left shoulder. Her currently silver eyes staring down at Arya's face. She could tell that Arya must have been feeling a little better, if not healed completely from the springs.

The young Jounin at first looked alarmed over the prospect of testing out. But the pain had dulled since before so... So Arya dipped her hands in the water anyways and held them out in front of her, almost cupping them. Pale blue chakra flowed through her fingers and in the next moment, a floating flower of silver water hovered over her hands. Arya’s red eyes swirled icy silver-blue as the water flower froze but shattered before it fell back to her fingers.

From how her eyes had widened ever so slightly, irises returning to their normal crimson, it was clear that she was surprised...at why it didn’t hurt anymore to use chakra. Well, to be honest...there was a slight throbbing here and there... Perhaps some pain if she performed a Jutsu...so it probably would be best if she keeps using chakra to a minimum for a few days but at the least, it was bearable. Meaning she didn’t have to bite down stabbing, needle-like pain that seemed to attack each and every single of her tenketsu points each time when trying to utilize chakra.

It...doesn’t...hurt...?” A quiet question, seemingly more self-contemplating than directly asked to the other two. Arya blinked once, in child-like surprise as she tentatively poked at her hands, that she had just used to create the little trick with her Hyouton limit. But this was so odd...she doesn’t remember being tended to by a medic-nin. And anyways, a medic-nin no matter how talented...there would’ve always remained repercussions after repeatedly suffering internal damage to the chakra system.

So that means...Then, this...water...” She murmured softly, her eyes fully taking in the beautiful silver spring this time. Arya had read stories about how the hot springs in Konoha and Oto were good for chasing away illness. Then the same applied to this strange spring? No... Arya told herself. Her Hyouton limit had been tugging at her mind for some time now, every since she was taken to the spring. Her clan’s unnatural chakra...that when dispersed could help the user ‘feel’ the presence of other chakra. There was no doubt to it, there was the presence of chakra within this spring.

The healing properties her mind concluded couldn’t be very far-fetched then...

Kusari could only hope and was fairly certain that he and Nakamura would get more time to be alone later...and perhaps talk more, or pick up where they had left off earlier... after all it was best not to try to press ahead too quickly with things like this... no matter how much one wanted to... but no matter what they were to do next it would probably be better if they were both dressed first.

Kusari followed behind Nakamura slowly and kept his lips closed so as to not frighten the girl with his shark-like teeth and he stayed a few feet behind Nakamura and lowered himself slightly so as to not scare her with his great height and large build. "Yes this water has incredible healing powers" He commented in response to the girl, trying to keep his teeth somewhat out of view.

[Cp Doesn't Decrease while you're in the water. wink wink ]

Nakamura smiled when Arya had found the stunning revelation. She wanted to tell her how she had managed to stumble across it herself, but she felt that the tale was a rather long and boring one. As if it would really matter who or what the water was, as long as it was used to aid those of the Waterfall Village. She couldn't help but feel a tugging at the back of her mind, as if someone was knocking for access into her thoughts. Not now. she called out to each of her wolves, assuring them that she would indeed get back to them, but now wasn't the time to disturb her.

When Kusari spoke from behind her, she could tell that it was slightly muffled. Possibly keeping his tone down as if he thought it would scare Arya. He doesn't remember her at all. she thought to herself, keeping her thoughts locked inside of her own mind.

"Don't tell anyone outside of the village about the Spring. You know how outsiders will react. They'll wish to claim the Silver Springs for themselves, and we'll end up having an unneccessary war." she said with a rather chipper mood. She was ready to get back into her own clothes. Drying off wouldn't be that difficult at all. She'd merely have to freeze the water and then send it back into the spring. Her body moved to the water's edge, quickly sending out a small amount of her chakra through her body in order to freeze the water off of her.

((Okie dokie. xDD For this I wasn't sure about using Hyouton limit practically so I took the base chakra cost (for using chakra) of the clan's chakra-requiring Taijutsu form.))

Cp: 2067/2070

Arya looked up, crimson red eyes filled with happy light. The young Jounin nodded her head ardently, long pale-purple sidebangs gently touching her collarbone for a moment. "Of course! Arya will never betray onee-sama!" The girl slipped from the water, onto a higher ledge of the spring, one hand easily holding her pants above the water, liquid silver running down through her hair and clothes.

Arya usually dressed lightly, in shaman-like traditional robes so getting the water from her hair and clothing was quite easy. A light bit of chakra manipulation here and there to draw the water from the light fabric before freezing and shattering the ice into fine powder-like particles with her Hyouton limit. Only when she was certain all of the precious water was back in the spring, Arya returned to normal grounds.

She turned her attention curiously to Kusari. Her scrutinizing gaze might've made him feel somewhat uncomfortable...and possibly disturbed to see such child-like innocence when undoubtedly she was certainly at least Jounin level. "Oh!" A surprised gasp, but it wasn't a frightened one. A gentle clapping of pale hands together. "Mister's from Kiri?" She asked curiously, tilting her head gently to one side, one pale hand tugging at her chin in a contemplative expression.

Kusari was used to being stared at, by the young and the old alike. Though this child was a bit of a puzzle to him he was not surprised to see that Nakamura knew such young yet strong company. He began to follow suit of the others and emerged from the water having noticed that Nakamura had appeared to be heading that way as well. On his slow exit the silver liquid dripped from him and he bowed his head once to wring out the poneytail that his hair was still held in. before letting it all loose. He stood beads of the silver liquid glistening and running down his body still in some places as he was without a towel or other convenient method of drying like Nakamura had. Kusari would normally simply shake his body like many animals did when emerging from the water...but such antics were not befitting of a warrior in front of others, and also would only cause them to get wet again.
Kusari heard the question and began to answer in a vague fashion. "You could say that..." was all he stated. Before elaborating on his cryptic message his ears picked up a noise echeoing on the wind that sounded liek the howl of a wolf...but it also sounded unfamiliar. Kusari turned his gaze to Nakamura and tilted his head questioningly. "Something wrong?" he asked thinking that it was one of her wolves and that she would understand the signal. Kusari didn't sense any danger; but that didn't mean the wolves couldn't have found some.

Nakamura couldn't help herself but smile when Arya confirmed that she indeed would keep the Springs a secret. It wasn't hard to draw the connection from her own past to the present girl before her. What she didn't understand, was why the Hyuuga had given her those internal wounds to begin with. She had been friends with the previous three Kage, having them all train her in various jutsu. I still can't figure out WHY they would attack her... even if something did happen, the Hokage should have told me that he had captured my shinobi. But... I guess I can't really question them, I didn't inform anyone of my leaving Yukigakure. I should have sent an emissary to Konoha instead of just leaving her there... but how was I supposed to know she was being held by the Hyuuga? she pondered, her own thoughts crossing a line that she didn't want to have drawn.

Her own questions popping up about the elaborate howl that echoed it's way into the village. After a moment of concentration, her eyes shifted to a golden color as she saw through Zenjin's eyes. A familiar forest with the scent of rice patties. She knew that they had made good time, but he wasn't the one making the noise.

Her eyes then shifted to a deep red, where she found that there was heavy breathing coming from deep underground. Slowly it was rising up to the surface, so it wasn't Hyousetsu. She noticed that there was something in his mouth, a frozen vial. She could only guess that Hyousetsu had managed to recover the Fire Master's poison.

When her eyes shifted back to their normal color, it was obvious that it wasn't Ayala. Ayala... there's something you aren't telling me. Nakamura said to her with an unsatisfied tone. Her arms crossed themselves at her bossom line, covering up her bra from behind her arms. Her long hair seemed to stay obediently straight and behind her.

"Something tells me that SOMEONE is hiding something from me."

I have absolutely no idea what you're referring to. Ayala said innocently. Even though it was a blatent lie, she didn't think that Nakamura would press the issue any farther. After all, she had told them to stay and guard the village while she was away. Her tail shifted beneath her as she sat down upon the ground, waiting by her side. If she didn't already know, she would soon enough.

Arya's conscience chewed at her mind. She couldn't ever keep things hidden from her onee-sama for long. And she knew she would have to make her report on what exactly had became of that mission a little around two years ago, the one where she had not returned from and was assumed dead. Though the debriefing had been simple enough...Arya was never a very lucky child. Her luck had frozen up along time ago, ever since her parents were killed trying to save the defenseless children of Yukigakure from a sudden avalanche. The very reason why she loved Nakamura even more, Arya didn't believe it was mere "luck" that her Hyouton limit hadn't killed her early in her life. Ayala, darling Ayala had led her then small footsteps to her onee-sama back then.

Now, Taki and Konoha never did officially establish a full diplomatic relationship. Though Nakamura was good friends with three former Hokages, the people of Konoha felt too strongly about “a village that housed rogue shinobi” and was repulsed to accept such an idea. When Nakamura requested for a simple mission to Fire Country, after hearing rumors that the Hokage was dead, Arya volunteered to go confirm. Unfortunately for Arya and the group she was with, Lady Cerbi had only recently assumed office...and Konohagakure no Sato itself wasn't stabilized and having troubles here and there settling in with the power change. Individual clans were furious and tired from repeatedly pushing back bandits, rogue shinobi raiders, and opportunistic rival villages’ advancements on their clan lands...while the government was still trying to get things under belt.

Hyuuga's estate grounds were no exception to the daring terrorists, especially since they were located on the village’s border grounds. While in stable times Hyuuga wouldn’t care for visitors who used the eastern gate...apparently, earlier in that same month the village had already tasted some bitter fighting against rogue shinobi of nomadic clans. And so, the clan was entrusted with patrolling the gate closest to their territory. They did one damned good job with policing. But, as they had apprehended some Kusa shinobi earlier that week, who could not explain why they were in the village (hence falling under spies)...well, the Hyuuga clan were none too pleased when chancing upon Arya's group who had decided to use the eastern gate...

They were stopped promptly and demanded to know why Taki shinobi were on Konoha grounds. And well...Hyuuga never happened to be exactly courteous in the “hospitable” sense. Personally, thinking back...Arya would say their clan’s famous “patience” was more of cold intimidation... Arya’s teammates, believing the Hokage had hoaxed them and tricked them into some sort of trap...decided on hostilities first. The encounter didn’t end prettily.

Nakamura’s voice snapped Arya out of her train of thoughts. Curiously, on the boulder she had made a seat of, Arya tilted her head slightly as she contented herself with observing Ayala and Kusari.

Kusari watched the exchangebwtween Nakamura and her wolf. Still shining in the moonlight. Hiding something...what could they possibly be hiding? Kusari thought curiously... THen something familiar...a strange familiar feeling came to him. "Nakamura... do you sense that?" he asked sensing something that seemed to be tugging on the back of his mind. It was familiar but too weak for him to tell quite why.... What could it possibly be?...so familiar , yet not familiar enough... Kusari tried to focus on it but it was too weak so he looked to Nakamura to see what her answer was... THen looked over to Arya. "How bout you? do you feel that?" he asked of her not clarifying because he knew that if they felt it too they would know of what he spoke.

The echoes of that eerie cry... It drew strong memories from her days back in Yuki, listening to the artic wolves that lived in the surrounding mountains exchange haunting howls. A younger child would've normally shivered...there was always something about those cries, a chilling beauty, that sends shivers up one's spine. Not Arya though, used to hearing the wolves relay messages to their pack. "The call of wolves..." Arya whispered quietly, almost blankly, half-lidded crimson eyes made her look more like a porcelain doll than ever as she sat so quietly on her boulder. "A signal to the pack."

Nakamura didn't need to sense anything to recognize the howl of the Arctic Ice Wolves. Her glance changed into a daring stare at Ayala, seeming to size her up with that simple glance. "Ayala....." Nakamura said with a rise in her tone. She knew Ayala knew what it was making all of that racket. "It doesn't take a Genin to figure out that something is amiss." she added, continuing to wait for a response from Ayala. However, she wasn't that patient. After all the things that had just recently happened in the village, the sudden flux of intruders both from the Sound village and the Rain village, the Attack and Defeat of the Fire Master, the arrival of her other wolven companions, it was just too much to try and supress. "Ayala! I am NOT going to ask you again." she exclaimed, an annoyed undertone remained hidden beneath her voice. She had enough of waiting around. Instead of waiting for her to explain it herself, her eyes shifted into a glossy opaque, forcing her way into Ayala's thoughts.

Ayala shifted uneasily on the ground after hearing the echoing call. Nakamura's gaze turned into one that she knew something was up. The back of her mind was trying to be pryed into, knowing quite well that Nakamura knew Ayala was hiding the truth from her. Instead of waiting for her to succeed in opening the locked thoughts, she channelled chakra into her paws before an eery mist lingered into the area.

"Don't you dare leave Ayala." Nakamura ordered, taking in the mist that seemed to linger in from nowhere.

She ignored Nakamura's comment for the first time, simply because she knew that the howl was one of distress. Even though she remained in spirit with Nakamura, her babies took presidence when Nakamura wasn't in danger. The mist enveloped Ayala and she heard Nakamura's voice shout after her when her body had vanished and the mist began to dissipate.

" I knew it was you Ayala!!!" she shouted after she had left.

Nakamura rolled her eyes, having them return to their normal teal. She looked up to notice the moonlight slowly beginning to fade away, her teal eyes flashing to silver when the light struck her eyes. "I can only assume that Ayala has gone to the village, since that is where a large amount of chakra has gathered." Nakamura told Arya and Kusari. She didn't want to waste any time, for she wanted to get back into her regular clothing. "Shall we go? Once everything settles down, we'll have to go back to the bath houses... I feel abit over exposed." she said in a small voice while she began to walk towards the village.

"No not the wolf...there is something else..." Kusari responded to Ayra before Nakamura bbegan to argue with Ayala and then the latter dissapeared only to be pursued by Nakamura on foot. Kusari , as always, was not too far behind.... Nakamura was right ...she was a bit overexposed to be running about the village like this. Kusari felt a similar though less embarassing feeling by simply being without his sword and other gear... he felt unhindered when he moved, but unprotected should an attack come... As they got closer to the village Kusari felt mroe and more the strange familiar feeling... "Nakamura...." he asked gas he ran behind her a few paces back as he was still unable to match her speed. "Do you sense ...something familiar?" Kusari had a suspicion but he couldn't believe it....No...she wouldn't be all the way out here...

Arya got up from her rocky seat and quietly followed the two older shinobi with a characteristically strange, floating grace. For some odd reason, an unsettling thought kept tugging at the back of her mind. She felt like...she was forgetting something important. No, not "something". More rather like someone. Arya's breathing slowed for a moment. How did she know that? Or rather...she feels like she knows that... And she had felt so certain at that thought too. How odd... The young Jounin did her best to push the nagging thoughts aside. Her only priority here is to follow her onee-sama, nothing else mattered.

[arrive from village]

The two wolves and the young girl wound their way through the village and on to the path towards the silver spring. Kaida did not start undressing, as was customary, quite yet, still admiring the eerie silver liquid of that place more than anything else. She had not seen much of the village on her last visit here.

"We were fine with Naka-chan sensei, and Onii sama, untill the people with the scary eyes started attacking us." Kaida shivered at the memory as if she could see it all perfectly in her mind. " They did something strange, and we could feel it forcing us all apart, just before it did.... When Wahott and I woke again... a year had passed." Wahotts Whimpered at this news for a moment and the twostayed close to Ayala to hear thier bizarre tale.

"We don't know why or how; but when we woke up, the clock was a whole year further, and we were in the ruins of an old house... We didn't waste much time. Wahotts did his best to try to sniff someone out. I had a piece of Onii sama's clothes and so with that, he was able to sniff him out. We were lead to the hidden sound village, and Wahotts and I came across some underground facility.

It was there we found Onii sama, only.... he was bound and they were doing things to him that we did not understand. We were too little to do anything; but we were too quick to get caught. Escaping on the horizon we were sure not to lead them straight here before coming in hopes of finding Naka-chan Sensei...
" Kaida's voice became more choked up and it was clear the girl was fighting back tears at the memory of her elder brother's imprisonment. "We came here because Naka chan sensei is the only one we knew we could trust to help free brother... but if you can't find her...how are we supposed to free him?" With those words, Kaida began to break down into tears. The weight of their travels were now apparent on the younger girl.

Wahotts moved from his mothers side and nudged Kaida not liking it when she cried. He did not like how there was something wrong that he couldn't fix; but he wanted to keep her hopeful that they had a chance. They were with Ayala now, surely there had to be something one of them could do. "Mama, I think I can find her.... I could try....but I don't remember what she smells like... I need something she was close to, something that meant something to her, so I can try to find her... Is there such a thing still in this village Mama?"

Ayala could feel the tears of the young girl and tried not to dwell upon her own sadness. It wasn't self-doubt, but sadness that she wasn't able to do anything about thier current situation. Ayala was quite attune to telling the emotions of others. It's alright Kaida, none of us could have prepared for what happened in the Leaf Village. It's not your fault... and at least you two were able to stay together. she explained, dipping her left front paw into the silvery water. It's basin around her paw glowed with an eerie white light that expanded up and around her paw. It didn't take long for Ayala's form to sink down into the spring, her head barely above the surface while the waters repaired the damage to her fur while she listened to Kaida's story.

Now now; there is no need or time for tears. Nobody is dead yet, so sadness is not a luxury we can afford.

It appears that Kusari is in trouble yet again... and by the hands of the Sound Village? The question then becomes... would it be wise to seek her out given her history with the village? If she learns of his imprisonment, that could lead to war given her position. Ayala pondered out loud, covering basis with fact and premesis. If we were to find her, what kind of state would she be in? she asked, recalling the office she called her own.

Her paws clashed against the waters surface during her struggle to get out of the waters. It's silvery aura dripped off of her fur while she got out of the springs, her fur back to it's normal state. Much better... she sighed, taking in beath before audibly exhaling it through her mouth. Her back arched while she streched, readying to use her chakra for jutsu rather than to simply keep the village hidden.

I believe that if we start back home, that would be our best bet to find her. The trail starts at Yukigakure, the only question remaining, would be if you were ready to travel there or not.

Wahotts, it's time you developed that nose of yours'. Wait here. Ayala said to her pup, channeling chakra through her in time for her to vanish in a puff of mist. It was a signature jutsu of her charge, the Transporting Mist Jutsu.

**************************************

Several moments later, Ayala reppeared, a misty aura dissipating upon her arrival. Within her maw, was a bouquet of the very flower that she believed to symbolize herself.

Remember these flowers? She always had one with her. Take in thier scent and concentrate on the finer scents inside. The scent of freshly fallen snow, of light metal, the flower's nectar, and the chakra source within it all. Now, my little Wahotts, can you smell it. Do you see it?

Ayala could only see a faint aura that faded from her view several times. She could not keep hold of her aura, but that didn't mean she couldn't open the portal to lead them home... their original home.

Mist Warp Jutsu!

As if it were an obedient servant, the same gush of wind erupted from out of nowhere, ripping a portal open before her. She stared into it for several seconds, hardly recognizing the gates outside of the village hidden in the snow's reflection through the portal. All that was needed now, was for Wahotts to harness his tracking ability and use it to his fullest advantage.
