Kon nodded, finally tearing his gaze from the window to turn and towel off and well as he could. "Let's go, then!! So - so we can change and go out!!" he said, looking both eager and determined. There was something more than simple happiness in his eyes - like a sort of... craving. He needed to be back out in the snow.

Ryu laughed, this time more openly. "All right..." He grabbed his towel, draping it over his shoulder as he walked, then got the door for Kon. Both out of the pool room, he took hold of Kon's hand and lead him back to the elevator. For some reason the memories never resurfaced this time, and he walked out of the elevator as calmly as he had gone in. He once again headed to his bedroom, but paused and turned. He looked back over his shoulder at Kon, then pointed at the door to the bathroom. "You can change in there again...your clothes are on the chair nearest you..." He went into his bedroom, and called out just efore the door closed "Let me know if you need anything warmer- I'll get you a jacket."

Kon was too preocupied with the thought of being out in the snow to care about or even notice the ride in the elevator and followed excitedly after Ryu, his heart beat seemingly stuck in second gear. He changed as quickly as he could and then was out of the bathroom at once, swim trunks in hand. "Neh, neh, what does Kon do with these?" he asked, looking a little perplexed.

Ryu chuckled- Kon seemed so...child-like....But Ryu loved it all the same. "Just put it in the bathroom for now," he said with a smile as he pulled on a warm coat. "Are you going to be warm enough? I have plenty of jackets..." For emphasis, he opened a closet nearby the door, nearly full with different coats. He added in a soft mutter "A lot of em don't fit me anymore- haven't gone through them to figure out which ones fit, so they kinda accumuliated..."

Kon nodded and placed said article the afformentioned room before returning. He paused, thinking and then murmured, his expression doubtful, "Kon... doesn't really know... Kon hasn't been in the cold for... a while." He looked slightly uncomfortable because he was lying. He spent as much time in the cold as he could, but it his animal form. He had never been human in snow... Just as he had never been with anyone other than family or Rina during a time when it snowed. He walked to the closet and, after a moment's hesitation, he picked out what looked to be a nice jacket that would probably fit him.

Kotoro just assumed he meant the occasional family or friend visit, so he took the answer without further question on the certain subject. He took a moment of silence, just observing the youth sitting across from him as if trying to read him.. If that was the case, it wasn't working. Just as he suddenly opened his mouth once more, a loud beeping alarm went off.

"Oh, uh.. Food's done," he stated, getting up and hurrying into the kitchen to turn off the oven alarm and pull the two dinner trays out. He hadn't bothered to get it out with assistance of a cloth. It seemed his gloves were enough protection to his hands as it was.

Ryu smiled. "Good choice then...just the jacket I would reccomend to you." Ryu nodded, then finished pulling on his own jacket. He could tell Kon was hiding something- he did it enough to recogize the action- but decided not to press it. He just wanted to have a good time. Once they were both ready, Ryu lead them outside around back behind the pool room, right to the spot they had been watching before.

As soon as they reached outside, Kon hurriedly put the jacket on, shivering. He was deffinately more sensitive to cold in this body. Laughing as his shoes crunched in the fresh snow, Kon ran forward, holding his arms out-stretched to catch the falling flakes. He felt much happier than he had in a long time. Snow was... snow was special...

Ryu smiled as he watched Kon in the snow. It's...It's just like old times...almost...at the same time- it's almost...better... Ryu looked up at the sky, his eyes nearly stinging with the cold snowflakes in them, his face flushing slightly in the cold. But he loved it- he loved it all.

Kon observed that, although it most likely had not been falling for too long, the snow was already quite deep. He stuck his hand down until his fingers touched the ground beneath and was delited to see that the snow came up a few inches past his wrist, although he had to withdraw his hand quickly afterwards because of the cold and his lack of fur or gloves.

Ryu once again laughed- he couldn't help it. Kon...just looked so adorable! "Have you ever made a snowman before?" Asked Ryu as he gathered smesnow in his hand to make a snowball.

Kon straightened up, his expression filled with joy and rapture. He shook his head avidly. "No... Kon never has," he replied, wondering what on earth a snow man was. Did... did people create people from snow? He knew there were snow spirits, but they never really came into the cities... or did they? Kon wasn't really sure...

Ryu grinned. "All right...would you like to make one?" He shifted the snowball from one hand to the other, his hands slowly getting used to the numbing cold. "It's really easy...And I think it's something you would enjoy...I used to make them all the time when I was a kid..." Ryu smiled at the memories and tried to push away thoughts of his mother. Not now...no- this was not the time for such thoughts.

"Mmmm... sure, but... isn't that cold?" he asked curiosly, eyes fixed on the snow ball in the other's hands. He could feel his instincts growing - becoming more acute now that he was in a situation that was natural for him. It was becoming very hard to hold a human form and the strain of it drew something from his eyes, dulling and graying them slightly. But that might just have been the effect of the white snow and gray sky.

((sorry this took so long sweatdrop i have been having trouble getting online lately...))

Ryu grinned a little- only the corners of his mouth tilted up this time "Not really- not after you get used to it." After packing the snow for a while, Ryu knelt down in the snow and began rolling it back and forth so that it would pick up snow and slowly grow. Once it became large enough to do so, he rolled it to a different patch of snow to begin making a body.

Kon watched avidly, wide-open eyes fixed on the other's movements. He trotted forward to come closer so he could see what Ryu was doing better. After all, it was very interesting. Kon had never seen anyone make a man out of snow before - he'd have to watch carefully so he would be able to get it right if he ever tried. But... then... why would someone want to create a living being out of snow. His expression mingling confusion with perplexion, Kon asked, "Neh... Ryu... why do people make other people out of snow...?"
