At first, the spirit bomb would not be enough, but then Vegeta realized that he had one wish left so he used that wish to restore Goku's power and sure enough, thats what they needed to beat Buu.

6 months pass and Shenron erases the memories of Buu from the earthlings so they just think Buu is Hercule's pupil. Buu wanted ice cream, but needed money for ice cream so, by fighting with someone in a street fight, he won 100, 000 zenie. He gets his ice cream, but then has to stop crooks from holding up a jewelery store when he was with Bulma carrying her shopping bags. Saiyaman and Saiyagirl arrive too late and the crooks turn themselves in when they could not beat Buu. Peace had returned to earth.

Goku and family were invited for a barbecue over at Bulma's, but due to some pterodactyl eggs that Goku just had to watch hatch, Goku was late. He did eventually make it though and shared his adventure with everybody there.

The matchups begin and Goku wants to fight Uub so he has Buu cheat for him and then Pan beats Wild tiger easily so that Goku can get on with his bout. To get Uub started and focused, Goku does some innocent trolling.

Final episode
Goku knocks Uub out of the ring and then decides to train the boy to being on par with him for real and a promised rematch will happen once he's trained.
