Hermione looked at her boyfriend shocked, "What do you mean she is working on her animagus form? By herself? what if something goes wrong?" She asked him panicked. Katherine was so happy in her new animal form. It was a Turkish Angora kitten. She played around with a ball of yarn before trying to go to her other forms. The witch focused before her next form to shape. She found herself in a snake body. The room provided a animal book before flipping to her species. She was the second venomous land snake, the Eastern Brown Snake. Katherine knew she had another form but decided she was good for now. Now there came a problem changing back. She tried but all she got was her cat form. Katherine thought about it before reading up some more.

Phobius blinked, then considered the question for a moment. "...Well, first we check what the problem is and see if there is any easy way to fix it. Failing that, we take the her to Madam Pomfrey, and if that doesn't work, we bring her to Professor McGonagall so she can fix her... or, if Katherine is absolutely serious about keeping her efforts under wraps, we skip to option four and bring in Mitis - he's got this trick to reverse most forms of botched magic." He grimaced at the idea, though - he didn't want to introduce the insane, more-beast-than-human pyromaniac to the others quite this early on, especially with some of the boy's more... disturbing quirks. "Anyway, after that, we give her a painful punishment for her mistake, then make sure there is always at least one of us accompanying her on any future long-term, high-risk spell-learning projects."Harry blinked several times. "That's... that's a surprisingly detailed plan for you having come up with it a few seconds ago..." he noted. "Er, anyway, maybe we'd better go check on her just in case?" His nervous demeanor made it pretty clear he was worried for his crush, however.

Hermione calmed down once Phobius explained what they could do and Katherine's punishment. "I'm so happy you already have thought up a punishment for her just incase." The witch said giving her boyfriend a kiss before getting up. "Now come along we got a witch to find." She said. Katherine though was having fun listening to people's conversations. She was currently in her kitten form. She was small and could fit in a shoe box. The witch was walking when she saw her friends. Panicking, the kitten climbed up a high statue and perched herself on the head. She calmly looked down at them.

Unfortunately, panic was not a good thing to feel if you were trying to remain undetected by a part-boggart. Phobius stopped short, looking up at the top of the statue and deadpanning. "Found her. Now get down here, Katherine - the longer you take to come down, the longer it'll take to fix this and the more painful your punishment will be at the end."Harry followed his friend's gaze. "A cat for Kat... if I wasn't on the verge of panicking, I'd probably be laughing my arse off at the irony," he mumbled, his gaze worried.

Hermione glared up at their friend, "Are you really stuck like this?" She asked. Katherine looked at her friends before calmly starting to bath her paw. She wasn't about to go down there. Phobius was really scary in his punishment. The kitten settled herself down to get comfortable. "Don't you dare ignore us, Katherine. You get down here right now." Hermione said glaring.

Phobius, however, simply went with the simpler route: he cast a Levitation Charm on the witch-turned-kitten, bringing her down to their eye level so he knew he had her attention. "Now, first we are going to check to see if there is an easy way to undo the botched transformation. Then we can bring you to Madam Pomfrey or Professor McGonagall, or if you really want to keep your efforts at the Animagus transformation under wraps, I can get Mitis over here. After that, you'll be punished, and then you don't get to do a big project like this again without supervision."

Hermione smirked right at the now scared kitten. Katherine did the only logical thing at least in her mind. She gave a cry and Sorren came flying in. He snatched her up before flying fast. The owl then found a quiet spot. Katherine sighed thankfully before focusing once more. She sighed happily in her human body before thinking of ways to get out of being punished. Sorren was just watching his mistress as she panicked.

Phobius stared after Sorren with a deadpan look before calmly following her trail, the panic she was emitting making it rather easy for him. He then quirked an eyebrow once he found her and saw she was human once more. "Well, at least the problem of changing you back is solved... you're still getting punished, though, and now it's going to be worse because you ran off instead of waiting for us to help you fix the problem," he deadpanned to Katherine.

"But see there wasn't a problem. All I had to do was focus and here I am back in my human form. Can't we just be happy about that and forget about that silly punishment?" Katherine asked playfully laughing. Sorren shuck his head at his mistress. Hermione stepped back from Phobius and held back Harry.

"No - though I might've been persuaded to waive the punishment if you'd done that in the first place, as opposed to having us convinced there was a problem and running off like that. Now, however, it's going to be ten times worse than it was originally," was Phobius's flat reply as he approached her, Harry looking on worriedly. The following punishment was far too twisted, disturbing, humiliating, and painful to put in this RP forum, but it was safe to say that once he was done, Katherine wasn't going to do any big projects unsupervised again... and on a related note, none of them would never be able to look at a rubber ducky, a hedgehog, ketchup, or a spoon the same way ever again (with the exception of Phobius, whose borderline-apathy gave him a high resistance to most forms of mental trauma).

Hermione had closed her eyes to hide. Katherine crawled around traumatize. She quickly turned in to her kitten form and went to Harry. She looked up at him pitifully wanting him to comfort her.

Harry began petting Katherine's kitten form gently to help calm the traumatized girl, murmuring words of comfort to her. Phobius, meanwhile, calmly walked back over to Hermione. "You can open your eyes now, I'm done punishing her," he told his girlfriend.

"Oh good, now let's help Harry with his homework." Hermione said. Katherine started to purr happily before getting on his shoulder. Then she playfully sat on his head.

"That sounds like a good plan," Harry agreed, making sure not to hurt Katherine by moving his head too much. Phobius nodded in agreement. "Katherine may want to change back to human form first, though, unless she wants to let the cat out of the bag with her Animagus transformation."Cue complete and utter silence before Harry slowly turned to Phobius with wide eyes, his expression a rather amusing combination of shocked and awed. "...Did you just make a joke?"Phobius sighed in irritation. "For your information, I do have a sense of humor... it is simply more aligned toward dry wit and morbid jokes."

Katherine decided to show off. So she jumped right off Harry's head and made the change. She landed on her feet perfectly. "Ha! How was that?" She asked smiling. Hermione happily clapped her hands, "That is so cool! And you have only started transforming today?" The other witch asked. Katherine nodded happy. "Now come on Harry." She said leading him to... the Library.
