This finally connected, Starmie smashing off the wall before rebounding with a Rapid Spin... which was aimed to rebound against Hurricane.
Koras, being the hormonal boy he was, was currently paying more attention to Lilian's breasts through her soaked T-shirt than he was to the fight, obviously liking what he saw.

Misty similarly panicked and shouted something along the lines of how if Hurricane ate her Starmie, then there WOULD be consequences. Koras similarly snapped out of it and came down to help. After a little little thought, he began massaging the massive sea monster's throat muscles in a certain way, and out came Starmie... though it was obviously in no shape to battle anymore.

Misty glared, obviously still more than a little pissed about her precious Pokemon nearly becoming Gyarados food, but nevertheless handed over the badge without a word.

Koras took the opportunity to check his Pokedex and was pleased to note that all the Pokemon that had participated in the battle had grown two levels, and even more pleased to note that Jet had learned Confuse Ray. Naturally, after that, he went back to ogling his girlfriend's chest; he may not have been in heat anymore, but he could still appreciate a woman's (read: Lilian's) figure when he saw it.

Koras shivered, obviously remembering how scary Lilian had looked then.
Cadaver opened one eye, looking rather amused, though whether it was at Lilian's summary or the way Carnage was futilely trying to escape was hard to tell. "Well, do try not to, okay? While I CAN revive the recently dead, it's still a pain in the a** to do," he half joked.
Koras glared at him in betrayal for going along with the drowning bit... before pausing and gawking when he realized the ghost-boy hadn't been joking about the revive-the-dead bit.

Of course, naturally Kitsune tried to follow his mate, but Koras returned it to its Pokeball before it could do so. He then turned to Cadaver, blinking, not quite sure what to do right now.
Carnage was a little dazed as it limply floated to the ground. Cadaver just gave it an amused look and poked it. "Dussskull..."
"Uh-huh... we both know you're not dead, so get up and shake it off, you damn wimp, it's just a hug." That started an argument between the trainer and his Pokemon.
Koras blinked and suddenly looked out the window toward the forest, cocking his head in puzzlement. If he didn't know any better, he'd have sworn there was a faint buzzing noise coming from the woods...
And then a swarm of Beedrill attacked! ...Nah, I'm just kidding.
It was actually a swarm of pretty much every Bug-type in the area.
The Bug-type Pokemon surrounded the city, bursting forth from the forests. Everywhere you looked, there was nothing but bugs... and leading the charge was a familiar green-haired boy on a Shiny Scyther...
Koras paled drastically and frantically shook Cadaver, trying to get his attention.
"What?!?" the Ghost specialist snapped, rounding on Koras... only to pause and look out the window as directed. He looked at the Shiny Scyther, then at Hive on its back, then at the ridiculously large amount of Bug-types behind the Rocket General. He blanched. "s**t... I forgot he could do that... you wouldn't happen to have about a hundred gallons worth of bug spray on you, would you?" Koras shook his head. "...Then this would probably be the part where we put our heads between our legs and kiss our asses goodbye."

Cadaver quickly explained the situation to Lilian. "It's Hive. He's using one of his special abilities - mind control, though it only works on Bug-type Pokemon and Pokemon from the Bug egg group," he explained. "My guess is he's attacking the city to get to us - he knows that if he tried to confront us one on one, you'd just have Psy teleport us out of here. As it is, though, we can't in good conscience leave the city. Either he gets Koras, or he gets Cerulean City. Either way, he wins." He sighed and put his head in his hands. "We need an Arceus-damned miracle to get out of this one."
Koras sighed and looked out the window... just in time to see a red Gyarados ten times the normal size appear out of nowhere and smack away roughly 20 or so Bug-types several dozen miles away with its tail, not even bothering to use a real move. Koras blinked and rubbed his eyes, squinting as he saw a trainer on the enormous creature. He silently tapped Cadaver on the shoulder, still staring at the ridiculously large Water-type.
Cadaver looked up... only to gawk as he saw the massive Gyarados taking out the enormous swarm of Bug-types like it was easy, and more importantly, the trainer on its back. "What the... is that Brown, the strongest trainer in Kanto? Why the heck is he here, and what the ******** did he feed that Gyarados to make it grow that big?!?"

(And cue the godmodding by the temporary OC... though he might make another appearance to challenge Koras or Lilian later on, if you want.)

Koras quickly complied with his hormonal girlfriend's orders, Cadaver lazily doing the same.
Of course, it was at that point that Brown let out his Arcanine, which blazed through all the remaining Bugs with a Fire Blast about half as big as the Gyarados. Needless to say, the bugs were all K.O.ed by now... with the obvious exception of Hive and his Shiny Scyther, who somehow got away.
Cadaver sweatdropped as he watched Brown jump off the giant red Gyarados and return it and the Arcanine to their Pokeballs. 'And of course, not only do we not have to leave ASAP anymore, but odds are Lilian's going to drag us to the Celadon Department store for a Fire Stone once we get there.'
