Fey of Silver Light Janis had to admit that made alot of sense. She looked down at the meat skeptically. She really could say she didn't like it till she tried it. Tentatively she nipped on it, tasting a small part. It was actually very good. She was ravenous and started to eat the whole thing. "Tis ish goo'," she said around a mouthful. (lolz) Cornelius show her his fangs and said, "Don't you think you're eating too much?" He noticed how quickly she tore through the thing with no regrets and yet she'd not done that a month ago.

Janis swallowed and backed up a bit as he showed her his fangs. He was surprised. He'd never showed that expression before.
"I'm just hungry that's all." she said, petulantly. It suddenly struck her how easily she was downing this. Even when she had a dragon size appetite while human, she hadn't wanted to touch the stuff. And she had been only mildly interested in it since then. So why all of the sudden it was irrisitable.
She pushed some of it toward him, having lost some of her appetite. "If I'm hogging it, I'm sorry. Here." she mumbled.

Fey of Silver Light Janis swallowed and backed up a bit as he showed her his fangs. He was surprised. He'd never showed that expression before. "I'm just hungry that's all." she said, petulantly. It suddenly struck her how easily she was downing this. Even when she had a dragon size appetite while human, she hadn't wanted to touch the stuff. "If I'm hogging it, I'm sorry. Here." she mumbled. Cornelius took some of the meat in his claws and began to gnaw on it. "Janis," he said in between bites, "Do you actually like this stuff or are you eating so much just to keep me happy?" He was a little concerned since the way she was eating her meat was not exactly normal for her. He had only really remembered eating deer meat once in the past with a willingness like this and wondered why she was now.

Janis shook her head slowly. "No and maybe? I guess I was just hungrier than I thought. You know how they say any food tastes better to you when your starving." she laughed, trying to lighten the mood with a joke. "I'm fine now though." She looked away, taking a deep breath. It was nice today. She was glad they could fly on a day like this.
"Whatever reason for my appetite, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about." she said, trying to convience him. She'd hate to worry him needlessly.

Cornelius licked his lips as he finished his meal and said, "Are you sure? You could be sick, but I doubt it because your appetite says otherwise." He strode over to her and wrapped a wing over the top of her head. "You don't mind if I provide us some shade do you?"

Janis shook her head. "If you feel you should, I won't complain." she said, a smile plain in her voice. "To tell the truth, some shade would be perfect." she admitted.
She peeked at him from under the wing still on her head. She was curious what he mention by that anyway. "How exactly are you going to make us some shade?" she asked. Was he going to do some kind of magic?

"Well, if you want to know how I'll make shade. I'm going to stand here with my wing over your head all day." Cornelius answered her as he looked out at the empty expanse before them. He didn't mind standing the hot sun for a while.

Janis couldn't help but laugh. That wasn't what she was thinking at all. Her idea was rather outlandish.
"That doesn't really give you any shade, but I appreciate it, Cornelius." she said. She allowed herself to sit for awhile, hust to cool down a little. Still, she didn't want to sit too long and force her husband to stand in the hot sun.
"How about we go ahead and take the meat to the cave. There's plenty of shade in there." she suggested, getting up.

There's plenty of shade in there." she suggested, getting up. Cornelius bent his neck around and picked up the meat with his jaws, "We can wash it later," he muttered between his teeth. He lowered his wing back to his side and voiced, "Let's go home then. You probably don't like the weather out here anyway. I certainly don't like it, it's kind of hot." His tail swished for a moment as he waited for Janis to walk back towards the home. Despite it being hot the way the sunlight reflected off her scales in the heat made her even more beautiful than usual. Janis was always of interest to him.

"Is something wrong?" she asked, curious. "I don't have blood spattered on me, do I?"

Janis smiled, flattered he thought so. "Thank you."
Getting to the cave didn't take long. Once there they were able to put away the meat and relax for awhile. Janis took this chance to sit down for a little bit. She lay there watching Cornelius as he put the deer carcass with the others. She yawned hugely.
"What else do you want to do. We've got the whole day to ourselves. Though, we could just louge around if you wanted. It's been a while since was just had a lazy day." she said, trying to start the conversation again. The silences were never uncomfortable between them but she still enjoyed conversation.

Cornelius padded over to her and lay down next to her. "Well, if you want to be lazy for the day Janie, go ahead." He stretched his neck out towards her until his snout was almost touching hers, "Perhaps we can be lovey dove, or just fall asleep too." He moved closer and rubbed his snout next to hers before sliding his body along with him towards her. "I think though you probably just want to sleep. But maybe that's me who's actually thinking this."

Fey of Silver Light A slow warmth spread threw her when he lay beside her. She wrapped her neck around his in a hug, moving herself closer to him. "You're not the only one thinking it." she said, a smile audible in her voice. "I've slept enough for today." "You want to be lovey dove?" Cornelius voiced in surprise as his eyes widened. He could feel her neck wrap around his and his body pull in closer to his own. Strangely enough, she seemed to have gotten enough sleep to him based on the energy she had been showing all day. "Are you all right he asked, "You seem a bit more active than usual in my opinion, but I may be imagining things." He licked a set of scales near her mouth giving her a "kiss" in a dragonly fashion.
