Lana entered the common room. She saw it was teeming with people. Lana smiled and brought the box of food she snuck from the kitchens over to the table. 'Anyone keen for butterbeer or tart?' She called over the chatter.

Lana reached in and pulled out a couple of butterbeers one for her and one for Amelia. She winked, 'Enjoy' She then continued to pull out the rest of the food onto the table.

Just so you all know, Hope Maxime Hagrid (KTweirdchick) has officially decided that she'll be joining us again as a second year. (: biggrin
"Yes, I spent a few months in the Urals Mountains with my Uncle Grawp, visiting my giant relatives. Then I spent the rest of the school year being home-schooled by a mixture of my mother and few of the teachers from Beauxbatons. But I'm very excited to finally be coming to Hogwarts! Beauxbatons is wonderful but I wanted to go to school where wizards like Dumbledore and Harry Potter had gone. Plus, to be honest, at Beauxbatons my mother has way more resources at her disposal to be overprotective with than my father has at Hogwarts."

Having explained her skipped year, Hope moved over to Lana and Amelia, "I'd love a butter beer too, please. I don't suppose you have any pumpkin pasties in that wonderful box of yummy-ness, do you?"

"Yum, this is the first Pumpkin Pastie I've had in so long. Thank you so much! ... I'm a sucker for Pumpkin Pasties, but the ones at Beauxbatons just don't taste as good. I swear the house elves at Hogwarts must be doing something to them that makes you crave them."
