Myrr cracked a sad smile. "No but my Husband went with him three years ago. So when I saw him, I was expecting my love to come back... Even if he did not come back alive, I would've had something of him to bury but alas I don't even get that."

Desere appeared from out of nowhere, seemingly summoned by Auren.
"I'm ready to take you home whenever. I'll skip town and just leave you on your doorstep. I assume you're going with her, si-- Auren?"
Auren nodded mutely.

Hali took her pants and use them to dry herself, then reverted to legs, "I'm so sorry Myrr... I know it sounds cheesy and you're going to hear it a hundred more times... But i have no real other way to express my sympathies toward you...."
Hali then stood up and pulled her into a tight compassionate hug and smiled, "Except to be here as your friend, and as a shoulder to cry on, or lay stories to pass the grieving process. And also to slather you in loving hugs all day!" She smiled softly and brushed through her hair, "So whenever you need me, and at whatever time... I'll be here."

"Thanks Hali." Myrr said while looking at her. "The best we can do now is remember our dead in honor of them. The General is a man of a word, and every word he says is true, so I know that Jacen died for a good cause."
"Doesn't make it hurt any less... it just makes it more bearable. C'mon. Let's go roam around the obstacle course for a lack of a better thing to do..."

Desere quietly opened the portal, and Auren looked at his former home before stepping through it, taking Oriana with him. Desere closed the portal and opened a new one, heart broken.

"I was thinking about it when i was standing in line to get lunch, so hopefully i know a little bit more about it, huh?" she smiled as she wrapped her arm around Myrrs waist and walked with her to the course.

When they got to the course, Myrr sighed and clambered up onto the ropes, walking along them while lost in her own thoughts.
Looking back at Hali, she waited to see what Hali had planned.

Hali licked her lips and stared at the rope in great concentration. after a moment of encouraging herself to the edge of the platform she leapt off and swung around like a monkey, "Woah!!! this is sooo much fun! But... i don't know how long i can hang on..."

"Don't think about that, Hali. It'll only make it worse." Myrr called out absentmindedly. She kept her little walk on the ropes back and forth, pacing, casually adjusting to the movements of the ropes that moved with Hali's swinging.
She misjudged one step, and with a startled yelp, fell over the side of the rope she was on, catching herself with her boot. Struggling to get a hand on the rope she curled up and only slipped more, falling off just when her fingertips brushed the rope.
Falling, she made a grab for a rope that was hanging that was meant to be swinging but failed that, twisting in mid air and then hitting the platform's edge that the rope was next to. In audiable snap was heard as her shin met wood with another startled yelp that was cut short with a thud.

Hali slid down the rope and dropped the rest of the distance. Running to Myrr's side, she uncorked her necklace and the water wrapped around her leg, "Oh, god Myrr! I'm so sorry!" she cried, "Just stay still, I'll go find Kaiser, Alright...."
Hali removed her sweatshirt and placed it under Myrr's head for comfort, then sprinted out of the obstacle course.

Myrr growled with pain. "Alright..." she called as Hali left, leaving Myrr with her broken tibia. Leaning back into the dirt, she tried to ignore the screaming agony that was her left leg.

Kaiser was standing at the flag pole, staring at the flag that was at half-mast. Shaking his head, he turned to head back to their cabins.

Hali skidded to a stop and fell backward to keep from running into Kaiser, wincing in pain as she huffed from the sprint across the yard, "Myrr...... Myrr fell.... And broke.... Her leg." she panted struggling to sit up... "I-I supported it... with some healing water, but..... she's going to need to go to.... the infirmary."

Kaiser nodded and changed shape. "Here, get on. It'll be quicker." he said. Feeling Hali scramble on and grab tight to his fur, he launched himself forward in a dead sprint, covering more ground then the pair could on foot.
Reaching the Obstacle course, he shrugged Hali off and shifted, jogging to the medical shack. "Here, see if you can help her walk over here." he called out as he ducked in.

Hali knelt down beside Myrr, "Okay, So i can help you up and try to have you walk over there, or i can make you float over there... on water..." she helped her sit up and smiled, "So which would you prefer?"

"Whatever's easiest, Hali." Myrr grunted. "Just need to get it splinted and a crutch and I can walk to the hospital." Myrr said while seeing what Hali was going to do.
Meanwhile in the shack, Kaiser was going through the drawers looking for a splint.

Hali uncorked her shell, and rubbed her hands together. water rushed from the shell and surrounded Myrr, lifting her slightly off the ground. Hali spread her arms and lifted them, as though she were scooping and picking up a pile of leaves.
Myrr about two or three feet off the ground, and followed Hali, as she left the obstacle course.
They arrived at the shack where Kaiser was and Hali slowly released her arms from the cradled position they were in, and the water brought Myrr to the ground and returned to Hali's necklace, "Ha! And they don't think I'm an experienced Magic user!" of course she had that little twinge in the back of her head telling her she had never really had any proper training in the topic... just a few quick lessons from Kaos.
She knelt beside Myrr and smiled, "Y'know if you broke your Tibia... then your probably fractured, or broke your fibula too... The tibia is twice as thick as the fibula... so if you broke that one... i'm sure there's going to be damage to the other.... However, You should get the bones back in place and leave it in something that will stabilize it, but not make it immobile... the more you can move it, the faster it will heal. Blood flow is the key!" she smiled and went inside to help Kaiser with whatever he was doing.

Hali helped Kaiser wrap up Myrr's leg, and waved them off, as Kaiser ran her to the infirmary. Hali would have went, but she figured she'd just slow them down.
After a good ten minutes of calming her nerves, she knew that the next thing she was supposed to do today was weapons training... but since both her instructors were depressed from their lost loved ones; not to mention that one just broke a leg, she spent the time wandering the camp, looking for something to do.

Miu slithered over to Hali and crawled up her leg, 'Hali, You must return home... It's urgent.'
Hali nodded as tears streamed down her face, "I know... Would you stay behind and tell Kaiser i left."
The lizard slithered back off her and returned to the cabin.
Hali glanced around to make sure no one was paying too much attention, and ran to the nearest pond to open a portal to her lake.
