Smiling a little, Nils said, "He seems to care about you a lot. That's good to have in a family."


Dan smirked and said, "One my style of diciplne is known, I doubt I'll have trouble. So shoo, and let me teach." Turning away from Ginko and back to his class, Dan smiled and said, "Alright, I already told you about the swim test, and I'm sure a lot of you are wanting to get in the water soon. So be quiet and listen up. The rules of my poll are pretty much the same at any other pool. No horseplay, no running on the deck, no diving except in the diving well, no fighting, no glass on the deck with the exception of if your wearing glasses. That pretty much it. You break my rules..." Dan pointed to the track nearby, "I'll pull you out of the pool and make you run laps the whole class. And remember, you're here to swim. If you're just going to screw around and not do anything, you'll run laps. Any questions?"

When no one spoke up, Dan pointed toward the deep end of the pool and said, "Alright, everyone line up by that ladder there and I'll tell you what you'll do for this swim test." Walking over and waiting, he picked up his clipboard that had the roll and looked to the first person in line. "Alright, here's how this will go. You step up, give me you name, then you'll jump in the water, feet first, and swim across the diving well using forward crawl. From there, swim using any stroke of your choice and follow the wall to the shallow end. There, you'll flip pver and use a resting backstroke until I tel you to stop. You'll then finish with floating on your back for thirty seconds. If you can do all that, you'll pass the swim test with all marks. You'll then get out of the pool and wait for the rest of the class to finish. Over all, the test isn't all that hard, it's just swimming about a hundred yards. Personally, I hope all of you pass so I only need one leson plan and don't have to teach swimming basics. So, if there are no questions, first person, step up and give me your name."

Zephyr Rose...

"Awweh, crap. Not again..." thought Zephyr, he was almost always late for class these past few days. He sprinted down the silent corridors, smiling appreciatively at the rhythmic thudding noise coming from his feet as he ran, it echoed along the corridors, filling them with delicious, but lonely, noise.

He wasn't even entirely sure what class he had now, but he was fairly sure he had a swim test to go to, so he headed outside, and over to where he thought his class should be. Sure enough, the pool deck was full of people. They had all already changed, and most of them were lined up at one end of the pool. He walked up onto the deck sheepishly, and looked over at the teacher, slightly nervous, and unsure of what to say.

He looked down towards his feet, shifting awkwardly from one foot to the other, "Uh... Uhmm... I... I'm sorry... Sorry I'm late, uh... I..."

Ginko sighed and then walked to the teachers lounge.

Yossie looked at the new boy and then scoffed. He wasn't afarid of the teacher at all. He could take him.
He wondered what mischief he should cause first. Maybe pantsing the new boy?

Yossie stretched lazily and walked to the edge of the pool. "Ah? what am i suposed to do now Sensei? Should i bend over?" he asked innocently.

Zephyr Rose...

Zephyr mumbled his apologies, before going across to the locker room to change. When he was done, he crept back out onto the deck, taking a place at the far end of the line.
He shuffled from one foot to the other, looking along at all the other boys and then at the teacher. The teacher didn't really scare him, but he was a little worried - he seemed really strict, and Zephyr really wasn't the best swimmer.
