Lightface saw Mousepelt, and choked back a sob. "She'd be a great warrior, she'd be..." She looked at Mousepelt, and mewed, "....She'll be a good warrior in StarClan now. Please, Mousepelt, make sure she'll be okay in StarClan. And...tell Diamondpelt I'm sorry. That Minxpelt died." She looked at Minxpaw-Minxpelt now. "I'm sorry, Minxpelt. We took you into the Clan, and we let the dog attack you. We're so sorry...you still would've been alive as Hanuli." She shook herself. "'m sorry, so sorry..." She eventually gave another yowl.

Hazelpaw watched Hawkpaw with his eyes filled with tears.
Great StarClan! What's happened?
Hazelpaw didn't think it was a good time to ask questions. She nodded slightly and glanced at Lightpaw. Hazelpaw could tell she was scared too. Then she looked up at Dragoneyes. Her eyes were empty, as if she already knew something bad happened.

(Sorry about posting again, but, Diamondpelt came!)
Diamondpelt had heard everything, and came and sat beside Lightface. She purred reassuringly, "It's okay,Lightface. You face a few deaths, but..." She glanced back at Minxpaw. "I know you're sorry, Lightface. We all know. You will be sorry when you eventually leave Hawkpaw, too." She paused. "Minxpelt, now, will make a fine warrior in StarClan."
Lightface looked at her mentor, and, despite Minxpelt, almost mewed for joy. "Diamondpelt....my mentor...I still could've helped him some way...I couldn't have let him die..."

Hawkpaw hurried back to camp with the others behind him. He didn't want to stay away for long, that would be more time for Lightface and Smallstar to grieve alone and he needed to be there for both of them. He entered the medicine cat den quietly, seeing Minxpaw's body a new wave of sadness swept over him. The tears were coming to his eyes again.
((Cats can cry right? Ugh.. this is all actually choking me up))

Mousepelt glanced over to Lightface. "Don't worry Lightface, Minxpelt will be safe. We will take care of her, do not fear." she mewed, still resting beside Smallstar. "And don't blame youself either. It is not your fault, you did the best you could, but it was her time to go. I felt horrible after I died and left Hazelpaw to fend for herself." she choked on her last few words. "But I knew that if it was the will of StarClan for me to leave, then so be it."

((Sorry for double posting, but it's Hazelpaw's turn! And yeah, I'm getting really sad now too T.T))
Hazelpaw raced back following Hawkpaw with Dragoneyes and Lightpaw right beside her. When they got to camp, Hazelpaw stared in shock. "Minxpaw!" she managed to choke. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Her clanmate, no her denmate was....dead!
StarClan.....why? She was so young! she looked up to the sky. Mother? Take good care of her.
She padded slowly over to Smallstar and Lightface and settled down next to Minxpaw, shoving her muzzle into her fur. "Minxpaw... you're so cold..." she whispered.

Hawkpaw settled next to his mentor, placing his tail on her back in a comforting gesture. Then he bowed his head to grieve.

(( Yeah. I was, in shock when Minxpelt posted she died.....I was so sad...But do you kknow what's going to be painful? Removing her profile from WindClan and placing it in Starclan...))
Lightface, instead of yowling, gave a mournful, long mew. She mumured to Diamondpelt and Mousepelt, "At least....she died with little knowledge she could about the Clan." She began to groom her, her cold bandaged body. She gave the mournful mew again. "How could I let this happen, how, how?" She turned to Hawkpaw. "Hawkpaw....Minxpelt is...is..." She began to sob again. "How could StarClan let this happen? Surely, surely there could be some way..."
Diamondpelt, though no one could see her, was laying by Minxpelt, and mumured to Mousepelt, "Since we're here...I guess we sort of have to help her go to StarClan..."

Hazelpaw looked up. "Minxpelt?" she questioned. When did Minxpaw recieve her warrior name?

Lightface nodded. "Smallstar had the ceremony..." She glanced at Mousepelt unhappily. "Take her to StarClan, please, please." Lightface shuddered. "Now, please. We'll bury her..."
Diamondpelt nodded. "Mousepelt...please...we need to..." Diamondpelt looked at her apprentice again, aware that she probaly wouldn't see her face to face again. "You're a fine medicien cat, Lightface. Don't worry a bit. Sure, Minxpelt died. Every medicine cat goes through that, as will Hawkpaw and his apprentice.

Although it was only for a second, Lightpaw saw Dragoneyes' body go ridged. She looked at her in confusion and then only seconds afterword, she saw Hawkpaw, tears streaming down his face, suddenly she felt alarm. She glanced at Hazelpaw before running at full speed behind Hawkpaw and Dragoneyes back toward camp.
When they entered she immediately caught sight of the group at the medicine cat's den. Her heart clenched for a moment, fearing the worst. When they reached the den together, her fears were confirmed. Her ears went flat against her skull as she swallowed hard. She couldn't say that this hadn't been a possibility but it still made her utterly speechless, and dumbstruck. At first she didn't know how to react. But the greiving pain that filled her then took over almost overwhelmingly.
She hadn't known Minxpa..Minxpelt, long, but it hurt just the same. She put her head on Hazelpaw's shoulder iin comfort before dropping beside, Smallstar, her mentor and hanging her head low as she said a small prayer to Starclan and another in respect to Minxpelt.
It was like losing a family member, or maybe more accurately, an unborn family member. She had never gotten to know Minxpelt. They had barely even exchanged words, but the greif that the medicine cat's den was encased in was contagious and impossible to escape or abandon, while the rest of her clan greived.
((I'm sorry this post was so long. I was trying to get it just right. >_<. Sorry i missed so much! crying ))

Lightface turned, facing Minxpelt again. "You were going gto be a great warrior, Minxpelt...the best..." She got up. "Minxpelt....you seeemed like you were going to get...so much better..." She gave a quiet yowl again. "Smallstar....I-I know that Minxpelt is dead now, but...we can't leave her here forever...we must bury her..." She bent her head, unable to speak. She still felt like she couldn't leave Minxpelt's side, to help her, to heal her....but she couldn't. She was too late. "Minxpelt.." She mumured again, quietly looking at her Clan. "Minxpelt is in StarClan now, she fought bravely agaisnt the dog." She barely remembered that now. "She will...she'll be a great additionfor StarClan."
