"Tokyo. Toh-kee-yoh. Toe-kyo. Tokyo." the tall, pale man mumbled, listening to the tape and repeating the correct pronunciation of the city name over and over again. People passing him on the street undoubtedly saw someone who looked homeless and underfed inanely repeated the name of their city, but he had to get this right. "Shaman Fight in Tokyo" meant he'd have to pick up the language.

Steven was sitting in a cemetery looking at the sky he hadn't seen either of his friends lately so he was really bored he had recently started seeing ghosts and hearing them so he came to the cemetery to talk with them.

*netsubo rounded the corner on the cemetary..she saw a guy (steven) wandering around....*"feh..."*she kept walking and ignored him..she really couldn't stand people, especially if they didn't know what they were doing...*

At first she thought that he was a ghost, but then realized it was actually a human trying to pronounce Japanese words....she sighed*"tourests..."*then she felt his aura and gave him a closer look...he was a shaman!!! she got on her guard*

Shizuka looked around Tokyo. It was the first time in years that she's left the Hyogo prefucture, but she needed to be here for the shaman fight. She needed to complete her ambition, for the world's sake.
The only problem now was that she was broke and had no source of income...
And she hasn't eaten for almost a week...
Goddammit I'm starved!! the shaman complained in her head.
"Shizuka, this is no matter to complain about. I've heard that people can survive for three months without food." Amaya, her spirit ally, sighed.
Aww, shaddup. You're dead. You haven't been hungry in over 900 years."

"Toh....kyou.." Faust finally had it right. Now to a more complicated sentence. "Onomimono wa, ikaga desu ka?" Faust sighed and stashed the headphones. Maybe he'd get lucky and someone would speak English (German was too much to hope for, in Japan.)
Just then, he sensed a familiar aura, one he'd never felt in Germany but had been everywhere since he came to the city of the Shaman Fight. He followed the girl with his eyes as she went into a ramen bar.
"Mommy, what's wrong with that man?" A little girl asked her mother as they passed Faust.
"Don't look at him," the mother said, dramatically making the sign of the evil eye. "His soul is sick."
Faust rolled his eyes. He was almost at his breaking point. Tolerating the Normal World was getting wearisome. He'd almost prefer a Shaman Fight at this point. Turning, he entered the ramen bar after the girl.

*Netsubo's neck prickled. She turned around to see the strange, un-dead looking guy walk into the bar. She turned her seat so that she could keep him in front of her and not behind in case he attacked. She wouldn't be caught off guard...*
