D: Really? redface Well, I did get to be Vyse, so it's fun. I still got the costume too. But my friends locked up my Cutlasses for safety... Their's as well as my own... mad Yeah that was a fun time. Till I got into it with some dude dressed like Inuyasha... cool Then it was a blast! blaugh And why my Cutlasses are locked up. sweatdrop Can't wait till next year, we're doin' it again! (This year is Legend of Zelda... I get to be Link! xp ) Heh...Jakkaru and I intend to do a Tales cosplay, her as Kratos Aurion from Tales of Symphonia, me as Cless Alvein from Tales of Phantasia. I plan to make a foam Eternal Sword...just gotta get the foam.

Foam... I hate foam...
It breaks too easy when I use it.
So does balsa wood...

But a friend of mine has a realation is the metal working buisness.
So... We got lucky.
Wooden weapons covered in metal. They looked real, couldn't hurt a thing.
At least that was what I was told. Still I accidentally hit with the flat edge of the blade and caused a bloody nose.

Too bad live steel and metal props are banned from most places nowadays. At least, I know they are at ACEN.
On another note, it's nice to see new posts. =D

Well, the foam I'll be using is kind of durable. I plan to wrap it in duct tape, anyway. And then paint it. Purple. Because the Eternal Sword is purple. XDD

Really? burning_eyes Well I got drug to a party, so it wasn't in the rules. confused Or was it and they didn't tell me... Anyway, thanks for letting me know that! surprised The foam and duct tape is a new one on me. Course I'd still probably end up breaking it. I got a bit of a destructive case with any weapons. If it works for you then go for it!

LOL That DOES seem to be a problem...the destructiveness. But, that's why I spar with friends with practice weapons such as kendo sticks. Hehe, we've broken like...3 of them? All I know is that I had gotten one of my hands effed up because it was cold outside, my friend hit my hand, I kept fighting...then had to stop cause my hand hurt so much.
That's not as bad as another friend of mine...he tried to block a kick with his hand, which bent it back...and his wrist has been messed up since December.

I use to practice with my friends... But it got to easy knowing their moves...
Eh... It doesn't matter anyway. There are some cases when it is good to de destructive. IF you know what to do.
But I try to avoid it most of the time.
