Amos V2.1
I'm thinking of getting into this...
I want to do a Pirate themed army... But make it REAL dirty.. Not meant for scoring touchdowns... Just meant to kill / injure the other people's players.
I'm thinking of getting the OLD OLD OLD OOP Ork Freebooterz off of Ebay.. And converting them up so they'd work out... biggrin

Try using the Empire men at arms guys, just put em all on round bases, they are quite pirate esq and it would only take the odd ball to get em to be a blood bowl team

I've looked through the GW site and there's no Empire "Men At Arms"

Has anyone considered running a league on Gaia? http://www.blood-bowl.net/PBeMTool/Is there enough interest to convince me to run it? Sure, the experience of working with minis is lost, but that doesn't make the game any less fun OR hilarious. And if you have painting minis, you can even add them to your roster! I've run league with this tool before, and it's a beauty. Who is up for it? EDIT: Alternatively, we could join a separate league, en masse: http://www.pbembbl.org/

Did anyone ever play Chaos League?
I played the demo and as far as I could tell, it was Blood Bowl, so good call on GW's part! Don't CRUSH! ASSIMILATE!
Only problem I had with that game was it played like an RTS instead of a football game, so if you weren't telling each of your players to act, they were just standing there looking dumb. Meanwhile the AI team moves in perfect formation... Perhaps I was missing out on some vital setting...

Speaking of "FORGET THE BALL! GET INTO 'EM", I'm currently painting a converted Nurgle team for a new league that should start next month or so. They dont score much but follow the above motto A LOT! rofl
