Thona hissed as the other hit him in the shoulder. It was simple of what he had to do. His eyes showed no pain, just a lust for blood. He pulled from the other's claws quickly. Bits of blooded fur from the other's claws.
Just as quickly he jumped at the other's side hoping to knock him down with his full body. Teeth, and claws going at the other's side. He was no longer himself anymore, his anger, and lust for blood side was now here. Hard to control, and very strong.

Dubhán noticed the change within the leopard. He had lost his selfcontrol, just like Dubhán was about to lose his own. He smirked slightly. Atleast he was taking it seriously now.
He didn't have much time to ponder on this, as the other ulaya threw himself at him. All rational thinking stopped there. It was a natural process. One couldn't have thoughts distracting them in the heat of the battle.
Instinct took over as he countered attacks with attacks. From outside, it would have looked like a well practiced dance. But this dance was deadly.

Thona wasn't in a thinking mood at the moment. Still snaping at the other while trying to stay out of reach. Though, seeing how the other jumped at him as he jumped at the other, they just kind of moved together. Both out of eachother's reach. Or it seemed.
He snarled again. His eyes looked as if nothing was there except a murderous ceature. He stopped for a few minutes and paced just out of reach of the other. He was waiting again. This time not for the other, but a perfect moment to strike.
His eyes kept going to the neck, but he knew damn well the other was almost, if not as fast as he was. He growled lowly and stopped pacing. He'd have to go for the other's feet. He stood there waiting, this time for the other to make the move.

Dubhán growled in frustration. It was as if the opposing ulaya knew every move he was about to make. Atleast the same counted for him, so they were equal on this. The thought sent some alarms ringing for a split second before he dismissed it unconsciously. He was still focused completely on the battle.
And that was where he made a mistake. Letting his powerful hind legs push off from the ground, he had realized his mistake. But by then it was too late. The yellow ulaya was going for his feet, he could see that now, and he had just given him the perfect opportunity to strike.
Trying to twist in mid-air to avoid the other ulaya's snapping jaws, the two ulayas quickly got tangled up in a mass of claws and teeth. A blurr of black and yellow would be all that could be seen by outsiders watching this battle of strength. Neither of the two came by unharmed by the other. But both seemed to match the other.

Thona watched with a mental smirk as the other one lunged at him. Feet first. He did the same, teeth going straight for his feet, though, he started to move funny, the other. He had known that he was trying to go for the feet. Quickly he changed his mind and snapped at any part of the other. Swapped at any part of the other he could.
Though, this was making him sort of tired. This was getting too out of hand, why hadn't he won already. He didn't even think of the possiblities that they were equal, oh no. That could never cross his mind. Well, at least not at the moment.

Dubhán didn't get it. Breathing harder than usual, ears flat down against his skull, he was croutching low, anticipating the next attack.
Why was he getting tired? It should have been easy taking down this kid. Teach him a lesson for barging in and pretending that he was the king of the area. He snarled again, but this time not nearly as frightening as before. He was also getting thirsty.
WHY was the other ulaya still on his feet?! It shouldn't be possible. But the way they seemed to move completely alike... luck. It had to be luck. That was the only answer. The kiddo was just lucky.
Like the other male, them being equal was not an option. He didn't even consider it. If you checked his mental dictionary, it probably wouldn't even be there. So he just stayed there, panting slightly, waiting for the other's move.

Thona stopped for a second, panting a little as well. His ears down exactly like the others. The sun had started to come up. Had they been fighting all night? He seemed to not be able to take the other one down, and like wise. This was getting totally useless.
He snarled at the thought that they had tied each other. Now his mind was racing back to his normal self. Was it because he was tired, or because of the sun, or was it because they were the same strangth. Something had to be explanied. Though, he knew it wasn't going to happen any time soon.
His tail flicked as he watched the other. They would have to continue the fight later. Especially since he had some other affairs to attend to. Though, he still wanted to fight. The urge for the others blood was very over welming. He wanted to taste the others blood, to smell it on the grass underneath them.
He had blood all over his shoulders from the other's claws, and he could smell the blood from the other, yet not able to see it from the dark fur. Which made him sort of satusfied. At least it wasn't some fight that either of them would forget anytime soon. Though, it was yet to be finished.
He didn't want to stop it yet.
Why can't I beat him!. Thona wanted to shout out at him and ask him something. He hadn't seen another black creature like him since his brother, but that wasn't possible. His brother was most likely dead anyways.
He was looking to say something, yet didn't know what to say. He could sence they were both weakening as he stood there. "Perhaps we should continue this fight when we both are fully ready. I would hate to win this only because you were weakened." He said. He wanted to win this fight fair and square.

Dubhán blinked in surprise. The syun was peaking up just above the trees. Had they really been at it for the entire night? It didn't seem plausible. But perhaps they really had.
He was confused. Slowly, he was regaining his rationality. it really did not make any sense. How could this be happening? And to an ulaya colored like this! Was this his curse? He would never be able to beat a leopard? Would his past always come back to haunt him? His mind switched to a flashback to a yellow paw with the claws out, scratching at his face. The words still rung in his mind.
Shaking his head slightly, he tried to rid himself of the memories. he didn't want to continue this fight. Not anymore. Not right now. He had the other's blood on his claws, and it was a good feeling. One he hoped to repeat again soon. He knew he would never rest until he had taking this male down. It would show that he was finally free of his past. Yes. This would be his final task.
At the other's words, Dubhan nodded before he snarled. "Yeah, right. If it makes you feel better, we'll just pretend that I'm the one weakened." he snorted "I don't hesitate to attack while someone have their back turned, I enjoy fighting dirty. But I do have pride. And there would be no pride in taking down a weakling."
He turned his back to the other ulaya and wandered off into the shadows. To the keen observer, it was evident that he was limping slightly. He stopped short just as he was about to reach the bushes that had surrounded the clearing. Turning his head over his shoulder he half yelled "When you've rested, trained... deweakened yourself or whatever you wanted to stop this for, don't hesitate to come find me. The name is Dubhan... Ask around. You're bound to find me. Or I'll find you" and then disappeared.

He didn't turn his back until he could no longer smell the other. He didn't even bother to say his name. The other didn't deserve it yet. He hadn't proven anything. Little respect was growing, but there was some there. They were both wanting to stop this battle, he could see it in the other's eyes before he left, as sure that the other senced it in himself as well.
Finalling he let out heavier panting. Sitting down he started to clean his wounds. They were nothing, but it was the first time he'd ever been actually hurt more then a bruise in a long time. He hadn't tasted his own blood in years. He grinned.
This Dubhan would end up being a worthy opponite, or a wise partner. Though, he seemed stuborn like him. It would take a while to insure either they were to be eternal enemies, or if they could get through to eachother to be more of a partnership.
Hearing himself think this was very strange. He'd been alone for so long, and now he's thinking about having a partner. It was unbelieveable to himself. It was most likely the lack of sleep and water.
