Dragon breeding was outlawed by the Warlocks' Convention of 1709.
At the end of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Ravenclaw has 426 house points.
Dumbledore defeated Grindlewald in 1945.
To the best of my recollection, it was an unnamed man who hugged Mr. Dursley, however, that unnamed man was wearing a purple robe. In fact, according to McGonagall, Dedalus Diggle, who never had much sense, was probably the one responsible for the shooting stars seen in Kent. The weatherman, oblivious to magic as he is, blames it on people celebrating bonfire night early. It's not untill next week, folks! As a result, Dedalus was probably much too busy with his fireworks too be hugging Mr. Dursley around the middle.
Fleur recieved 25 points, but she said she deserved 0.
It's rather insulting that you don't think we can answer such easy questions.

1. Harry's favorite game, of course, is Quidditch. Let's test you on the basics of this sport played on flying broomsticks. Name the four positions on a Quidditch team and the three different kinds of balls in play.
2. It's an important position, but one so fraught with danger that Hogwarts hasn’t been able to keep the post permanently filled. Which of the following people have not taught classes in Defense Against the Dark Arts? Think carefully.
3. Who was Harry's first Quidditch game against?
4. Who are the four founders of Hogwarts, Harry's wizard school?
5. What kind of dragon is Norbert, who hatches from an egg Harry's friend Hagrid' buys in the first book?
6. Harry's best friend, Ron Weasley, comes from a large family, all of whom are important in Harry's life. Put the Weasley children in order of age.
7. Harry uses a magic item called the Marauder's Map to sneak around Hogwarts after-hours. Whose names are given on the map as its creators?
8. Real-estate agents will tell you there's nothing more important than location, location, location. Give us the exact address of Harry's hated relatives the Dursleys.
9. While we're at it, tell us in what countries you can find the wizard schools Hogwarts, Beauxbatons and Durmstrang.
10. You're a wizard with a busy day of spring cleaning ahead of you—first you've got to levitate your couch to dust underneath it, then clean your owl's birdcage, and finally dispel the boggarts that have made a nest in the hall closet. Give us the words for the magic spells that let you do those things.
11. What kind of drink is most commonly served at Three Broomsticks pub in Hogsmeade village?
12. What birthday presents did the Dursleys rather grudgingly give Harry when he turned 10? And what was the insultingly meager gift he got from them in "Goblet of Fire?"
13. And lastly, we'll give you an easy one. What's the name of He Who Shall Not Be Named—both the one he called himself when he rose to power, and his birth name?

[.L.O.S.E.R.] Sir Patrick Delaney-Podmore, leader of the Headless Hunt. And, please. No hints, even if they are in white. It seems belittling that you don't feel us smart enough to remember this stuff. Next question, please! sorry, I just did that so I would remember.... sad

What is Dumbldore's full title? What are the words of the Spell Hermione uses to make Neville "faint"? How and where was the first draft of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone written? How many OWL's did Percy get on his exam in Chamber Of Secrets, and what does OWL's stand for? (that last bit is probably easy) In what book (his own) does Lockhart say what his favorite color is and what is his favorite color? What did George say that the Maruaders map was?( to them at least) What reason did Harry give the Weasly's for blocking the fired place? Why didi Moddy onyl want to teach for one year at Hogwarts, and why did he teach at Hogwarts?

1. Chaser, Keeper, Seeker, and Beater. Quaffle, Bludger, and Golden Snitch.
2. I can't choose who hasn't when there's no list to choose from.
3. Slytherin, seeing as the first quidditch match of the year at Hogwarts is usually Gryffindor vs. Slytherin. (This was not the case, of course, in Prisoner of Azkaban, due to Draco Malfoy's "injury.")
4. Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff, and Salazar Slytherin.
5. a Norwegian Ridgeback, not to be confused with the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed of dog. (My friend has one of them. He's pretty big.)
6. The children born to Arthur and Molly Weasley, from eldest to youngest, are: Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, Ron, Ginny.
7. Masters Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs. (Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black, and James Potter, respectively.)
8. Number Four, Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey.
9. Hogwarts: Definately in the UK, most likely Scotland. Beauxbatons: France. Durmstrang: Somewhere in northern Europe, a place with very short winter days.
10. To levitate the couch: Wingardium Leviosa. To clean the Owl's cage: what part are you looking to clean? Are you looking for a metal cleaning spell, a poo removing spell, something to get out the dead rat smell? a little more specific, please. To get rid of the boggart: Riddikulus.
11. Butterbeer, probably.
12. For his tenth birthday, the Dursleys gave Harry a pair of Vernon's old socks and a coat hanger. A single tissue.
13. His birth name is Tom Marvolo Riddle, and when you rearrange the letters you get "I am Lord Voldemort". Seeing as "Tom" isn't a very intimidating name, he started calling himself Lord Voldemort a few years after he started Hogwarts. Personally, I wouldn't have chosen a French name, (Voldemort is French for "flight from death") because of the more feminine steryotype of the French people. For fear of being called a pansy, I would have chosen a tougher nation.
